process (comments box)
• Customers are 5x more likely
to leave you feedback
directly than on an online
review site.
• This content can be
leveraged on your website
and show rich snippets in the
Google search results.
Reviews on online review sites
such as Google, Facebook and
Trip Advisor
• Important to identify the
sites that show up in Google
Knowledge Panel.
• Great indicators of trust from
other customers, and assist

Review Widget Setting Page
Review Widget Setting Page
1st-Party Only
Display 1st-party reviews
(testimonials), marked up with
review schema which can lead
to stars in the Google search
results.
Unique, user generated
content for your website.
1st & 3rd-Party
Display all of your reviews
together - 1st-party reviews
(testimonials) mixed in with your
3rd-party reviews (Google,
Facebook, etc.).
Only 1st-party reviews are
marked up with schema, so
3rd-party reviews will not be part
of the totals and rating displays
at the top (following Google
guidelines).
3rd-Party Only
Display your reviews from
Google, Facebook, etc. on your
own website. Shows reviews
from the sites you are
monitoring in your account.
Does not include schema
markup (following Google
guidelines).
The Review total and rating
average are only from the 3rd-
party reviews.

Editor's Notes

  • #7 Things to point out: (The Name change from Testimonials to Review Widget) Options to now display 3rd party reviews in the widget (only 3rd, only 1st or both) Control over which review sites are included Control over what rating (example 4.0 stars and above) Width control (a lot have been asking for this!)5. Feedback button color Important to note that 3rd party reviews are NOT marked-up and are NOT part of the rating averages. They are DISPLAY only. So if you do JUST 3rd party reviews in your widget, they will not produce SERP stars.
