From the KELC Teachers:
From the Classroom:
Hello!
We had a great start to the New Year! Everyone was happy to have our friends return from
traveling and get back to the normal routine. At the end of January we were invited to a Mad
Hatter Tea Party with our Grandfriends; a blast was had by all! Expect more events with our
Grandfriends, as intergenerational activities are a key component of KELC. Our first field
trip of the year was also a success. They children loved looking at sculptures at the
Cleveland Art Museum and they got to create one as a team. We have been enjoying this
unusually warm winter as well. Usually by now everyone has cabin fever, but fortunately we
have still been abler to go outside quite often. There were even a few days we were able to
play in the snow, which I always more fun with 20 other friends. We hope the winter
continues to treat everyone well.
