Alteration Of The Surrounding Rock
An Overview of Hydrothermal Ore Process Fluid Source, Compositions, and Transportation
Hydrothermal solutions cause alteration of the surrounding rock. Hydrothermal ore forming
processes can be found everywhere on Earth throughout the crust, most observed ore deposits have
more than likely been touched by Hydrothermal ore forming processes. Rose and Burt (1979) state
that Hydrothermal alteration is conversion of an initial mineral assemblage to a new set of minerals
more stable under hydrothermal conditions of temperature, pressure, and most importantly, fluid
composition (p. 173). Hydrothermal alteration is considered a type of metamorphism,
metamorphism is the recrystallization of a parent rock a more stable to new minerals. The type ...

Meteoric waters are widespread through the crust (because of the method of delivery being rain
rainfall) and are associated with many types of ore formations. The oxygen and hydrogen isotopes
compositions of meteoric water, both surface and as groundwater, vary systematically over the
entire globe as a function of latitude and elevation (Robb, 2005, p 133). The way in which
meteoric water is identified are the ОґD and Оґ18O isotopic values that land near or along this line
ОґD=8Г—Оґ^18 O+10. Connate water(brines) also called formational water are inclusions in
interstitial pores as deposited, which goes back to originally being meteoric water or sea water.
Through the processes of burial, compaction, and lithification ore deposits form, because of the
transformation of the sediment into lithified rock an aqueous solutions form ore deposits. The ОґD
and Оґ18O isotopic values for connate waters range a great deal. The ОґD and Оґ18O isotopic
values of oil field brines samples taken throughout North America exhibited a scattered from which
each sample was taken.
Metamorphic waters ranges from high temperatures 300 600В°C. Metamorphic waters are produces
through the processes of dehydration and decarbonation reactions in the mid and lower crust.

Envy In A Separate Peace
A Separate Peace Writing
Envy is ignorance, and limitation is death, throughout the novel A Separate Peace . Knowles
suggest that Genes envy and limitations, affects him and Finny s relationship together. Gene is an
envious and lost person, who later finds himself, and peace at the end of the story. Throughout the
story, Gene suggest how he is looking for a separate peace, and it shows how his emotions manage
to kill someone; before he returns.
Gene Forrester is obsessed with how talented his roommate Phineas is, so he feels as if he has to
become the best, and Phineas is considered the problem. One part in the novel is when Finny
brought Gene to the beach the day before he had a test, and he thought Finny was trying to take
away Gene s only advantage, which was grades. According to Gene he states, going there risked
expulsion, and destroyed the studying I was going to do for an important test the next morning
(Knowles 23). Gene had known what the beach meant risk wise, but had still went in order to
prove a point. Gene had thought Finny brought him there to get him off his game, and so he could
fail his test. Another way Gene is affected is when he is made to jump from the tree because it
messes with his mind, and he ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Throughout the story Finny thinks him and Gene are friends; when they are really enemies. In
the novel Gene says, what was I doing up here anyway? Why did I let Finny talk me into this?
Was he getting some kind of hold over me? (Knowles 5). The narrator s jealousy, starts to grow
more towards the other character. The hate Gene has for Finny builds up and eventually leads to his
death. Their relationship got more affected when Gene admitted to causing the accident, and caused
Finny to never play sports again. When Gene admits to hurting Finny, it changes both of the
characters, and their friendship was hanging by a

Gender Roles In The Fairy Tale
Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm wrote their version of Cinderella in 1812. The fairy tale is about a
young girl who is forced to live with her two evil stepsisters and stepmother. Cinderella tries to be
positive and devout, even though her family is atrocious to her. In the end, the prince takes
Cinderella to his castle and they live happily ever after. The story describes the gender roles,
conflicts, and implies how the story has changed over time. Frequently in the story, the characters
traits are based on their gender. The women tend to be more focused on their outward appearance,
as the men look at and judge women on how beautiful they are. Cinderellawas a perfect archetype of
how women are judged today and throughout history. She... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Her stepmother didn t treat her very fairly either. She refused to let Cinderella go to the festival
because she was unkempt, and she didn t want Cinderella to ruin her reputation (Grimm 3). Her
stepmother also didn t want Cinderella to try on the shoe the prince brought because, again, she
was too dirty (Grimm 8). As well as Cinderella having bounteous rivalries with those in her
household, she probably also struggled with herself. When Cinderella s mom died, she told her
to Always be good and pious, and God will take care of you, and I will look down upon you from
heaven, and will be with you (Grimm 1). With all that Cinderella s been through, that must be
unimaginably hard to live by every day. Cinderella still pushed through the hardships and ends
up coming out on top. The story of Cinderella has changed countless ways throughout time.
Everyone tells a story differently and puts their own twist on it. Over time, all the details can
start to look completely different from the original. In the Disney version of Cinderella, there
was a fairy godmother who granted Cinderella s wish to go to the ball. The only condition was
that she be home by midnight or everything would disappear. In the original story, Cinderella puts
a hazel twig on her mother s grave, and it grows into a tree that has a bird who grants all of
Cinderella s wishes with no conditions (Grimm 2). The Disney and Grimm versions of Cinderella

Jar By Wallace Stevens
This poem by Wallace Stevens, Anecdote of the jar , shows the intense relationship between nature
and man kind. This poem uses small words and phrases to show how nature and man kind rely on
one another.
In the poem Anecdote of the jar by Wallace Stevens, there are three stanzas, with all of the
following stanzas having four lines each. In the poem Anecdote of the jar, there is not a set rhyme
scheme however, there is a lot of repetition throughout. The poems words all flow together nicely.
For example, the word round from line 2 of the first stanza, is said twice, also in the in line 7 of the
second stanza. This poem has many rhyming words like round including surround from line 4,
around from line 6, and ground in line 7. Before

Saturn V Rocket Essay
The research that I have done is about a space station with a design based off of the Saturn V
rocket that I have made. During this paper i will talk about its background, the parts, how it
works and how it is different from the ISS (International Space Station). The Saturn V rocket has
3 stages in its launch. The first stage carries around 203,400 gallons (770,000 liters) of kerosene
fuel and 318,000 gallons (1.2 million liters) of liquid oxygen needed for combustion. At liftoff the
F 1 rocket engines produces 7.5 million pounds of thrust. The Saturn V rocket was a rocket that
used the tallest and heaviest rocket for low earth orbit (LEO). It was launched 13 times with no
loss of crew or payload. The Saturn V was designed under the direction... Show more content on

The Saturn V rockets used for the Apollo missions had three stages. Each stage would burn its
engines until it was out of fuel and would then separate from the rocket. The engines on the next
stage would fire, and the rocket would continue into space. The first stage had the most powerful
engines, since it had the challenging task of lifting the fully fueled rocket off the ground. The
first stage lifted the rocket to an altitude of about 68 kilometers or 42 miles. The second stage
carried it from there almost into orbit. The third stage placed the Apollo spacecraft into Earth
orbit and pushed it toward the moon. The first two stages fell into the ocean after separation.
The third stage either stayed in space or hit the moon. Now we will talk about how fast the
Saturn V rocket can go. In order for the Saturn V rocket to break free of the Earth s gravitational
pull, it will need to travel approximately 7 miles per second. The fastest speed obtained by a
manned vehicle orbiting the moon to Earth in 1969 is 11.08km/s or 24,791 miles per hour. After
the launch the Saturn V burned for almost 6 minutes giving it a velocity close to the Earth s
escape velocity of 11.2 km/s or 25,053 miles per

The Issue Of Abortion And Abortion
Abortion is one of the most debatable and controversial issues that exists in our society. An
abortion is a medical procedure that terminates a pregnancy before 24 weeks. People who call
themselves Pro Life feel that it is the government s responsibility to preserve all life, regardless of
concerns for the pregnant woman s health, or for the quality of the life of the child. The Pro Choice
argument feels that a woman should have the choice when it comes to what they wish to do with
their own reproductive organs.
There s many arguments regarding abortions. One of many is that adoption is a viable alternative
to abortion. This statement implies that the only reason a woman would want to get an abortion is
to avoid raising a child, and that isn t the case. Depending on the circumstances, the mere act of
having a child in a hospital can cost between $3,000 and $37,000 in the United States. Giving birth
is dangerous, too: In the United States, pregnancy complications are the sixth most common cause
of death for women between the ages of 20 and 34.
Another misconception often thought about abortions is If a woman has sex, she has to pay the
consequences. Too many women have abortions for their own convenience or on impulse. Pro
Life activists leave no room for the grey area, which is unfair. Did you know over 2 thirds of
women who have abortions were on birth control or using protection. And what about the women
who are abstinent but were raped or victim to incest. I believe

Are Competitive Sports Good For Kids
Of late, people have talked about how competitive sports for kids aren t good. They talk about
injuries, and stress, but there is also another side to this argument. There are many reasons why
competitive sports are very good for kids health, such as they help fight obesity, they improve kids
mental health, and they help prevent diseases. First off, sports for youth, helps prevent obesity
for kids, in a time where that is becoming a real problem. Competitive sports, force kids to
practice, a few times a week, and play games. This will help kids get out of their houses, and be
active, which prevents them from becoming obese. A study by Stanford shows that competitive
sports do keep kids underweight. They enrolled 13 kids from the ages of 10 12 in a soccer team,

Lots of children, are mentally unstable today, which is very bad. Competitive sports although, helps
fight this problem in our youth. According to the Journal of American Academy of Child
Adolescent Psychiatry, female students who exercise about 6 7 days a week have a 25% chance of
feeling sad, while females who exercise 0 1 days a week have a 37% chance of being sad(The
Aspen Institute, 2016). This shows that kids who play sports, or are active have a less chance of
being sad, or mentally unstable, than kids who don t play sports, or who aren t active. Lastly,
competitive sports reduces the chance of kids getting diseases, in their youth, or later in their life.
Cancer is one of the biggest causes of death in the world. Competitive sports help reduce the
chance of 13 different types of cancer, and other health problems, such as heart disease, stroke, and
heart attacks, which will help kids live longer, and healthier(The Aspen Institute, 2016). This shows
that sports will help fight cancer, and prevent kids from getting cancer when they are young, which

Ufo s Being Extra-Terrestrial Or Of Natural Phenomenon
Applying the TEST formula The TEST formula will be applied to assess the theories of UFO s
being extra terrestrial or of natural phenomena such as reflection of sunlight, mirages, the northern
lights, and any other unknown natural occurrences.
Step One: Checking for consistency The theory that unidentified flying objects (UFO s) are extra
terrestrial is consistent with the belief that flying saucers are aliens to planet Earth. UFO s sightings
from around the world are consistent because nothing else on earth resembles a flying saucer or an
aircraft with no wings.
Step Two: Assessing the evidence UFO sightings have been reported by numerous individuals, as of
June 24, 1947, and have been continuously documented since then. The doubt and distress of the
significant portion of the public and Government has been inconclusive to determine if UFO s are
authentic with extra terrestrial beings or something man made. ... Show more content on

The Importance Of Religious Freedoms In The United States
It is often stated throughout this great country that we have a right to religious freedoms. Are these
freedoms only available if they fit inside a certain box or guidelines? Often times in our country
today we see individuals who are constantly claiming their right to religious freedoms. And often
times they are denied those freedoms by the interpretation of various laws. The First Amendment of
the United States of America Constitution clearly gives us our religious freedom above and beyond
all created laws. This leads to the fact that all laws should abide by the First Amendment. The First
Amendment of the U.S. Constitution clearly states Congress shall make no law respecting an

Yes, that s right businesses. What religious freedom does is that it fosters respect by protecting
something that more than eight in ten people worldwide, 84 percent according to a recent Pew
Research study, identify with a religious faith , (Grim, 2014), encourages peace, develops an
economy, which in turn can reduce corruption. In turn religious freedoms also encourages
broader freedoms that can contribute to positive economic development. Many argue that social
development requires the removal of sources of un freedom and restrictions on religions in such
countries like Saudi Arabia and Dubai. Religious freedom also helps with the development of an
economy when religious groups are free to operate in a competitive environment religion can
play a role in major social development of countries. (Grim, 2014) Religious freedoms also
encourage multiples of trust for instance clothing retailer Abercrombie Fitch fought and lost a
religious discrimination case in 2013 related to firing a Muslim stock girl for wearing a scarf in
violation of the company s dress code. The case resulted not only in substantial legal costs but also
negative national publicity. Respect for reasonable accommodation of religious freedom in the
workplace can improve employee morale, increase retention of valued employees, and help with
conflict resolution. Moreover, businesses may gain a competitive advantage by engaging
stakeholder expectations that are increasingly demanding that companies play a positive role in
addressing environmental, social and governance challenges. (Grim,

candles symbolize death and life. The candle on the left side where Mr. Arnolfini is still on but the
other candle is gone out. Mrs. Arnolfini stays where the gone out candle is.
According to Januszczak there are two more symbols supporting the fact that Mrs. Arnolfini is
death. These are the shoes called pattens and the fruits on the windowsill. At that time, people
used shoes called pattens for wearing outdoors. There is a pair of pattens on the floor. Which
according to Januszczak symbolizes the loyalty of Mr. Arnolfini to his wife. Mr. Arnolfini rejected
these shoes because they are towards outside and that means, he has no plans to wander further.
Lastly the fruits on the windowsill symbolize the biblical event of paradise and they are not there to

when someone tell you something ? Each day you and I get about 100 chances to choose
whether to be proactive or reactive. by Stephen Covey. You get chances all the time to make
choices. Some people choose to be proactive and do the right things. For example if your know
you have to clean the house, why wait until your mom has to tells you and start yelling at you. It
s better to be proactive and do it without her telling you. You can use this habit in so many ways.
The proactive approach to a mistake is to acknowledge it instantly, and learn from it and not
letting it happen again. you have the freedom to choose your response and to choose your action
no one can choose them for you so, if your do something that s not right why complain and argue,
yes you can but, at the same time you were the one to choose your actions. There are so many
things in life that can put you down and make you upset. You should always take responsibility
for your choices and that s the problems with today s humans in this world. Trying to point the
finger at someone else, even tho they already know it was there fault. You re probably asking
why ? that my question for so long but still not being able to get the answer, but i ll tell you my
side of the point. You should always bounce back when you get hurt or get upset look at the
positive side there is always a really big reason why things happen. There always people that
start crying and just putting all there stressed on them and acting if something will change just
by them crying. My mom all ways told me to draw my own path and turn left and never followed
what people try telling me even if it s good . See my dad use to work for a company and that

Marketing Plan For The Rainforest Alliance
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
It is assumed that Devondale products are eligible to receive The Rainforest Alliance Certification
Seal. The manner in which Devondale produce, harvest and manufacture their milk (both chilled
and long life), cheese, butter (and spreads), cream, and breakfast drinks adheres to the strict
guidelines and requirements set by The Rainforest Alliance. This marketing plan only applies to the
company once the certification seal has been awarded to Devondale.
The purpose of this report is to highlight how Devondale will utilise various marketing
communication strategies in an effort to promote the newly found green credentials with The

Dairy Australia Limited, (2014) found that milk is the most consumed dairy product (compared to
cheese, butter and yoghurt). Therefore it is recommended that the main focus of this campaign will
target consumers who do the grocery shopping for households and businesses.
All of the marketing efforts will aim to promote The Rainforest Alliance Certification Seal that will
be present on all Devondale products. D Souza, Taghian, Lamb, Peretiatko, (2007) found that
displaying third party certifier logos on products allow consumers to perceive the brand as more
credible, because an external organisation has to approve and ensure that the business adopts
sustainable practices.
BACKGROUND OF DEVONDALE:
Devondale Murray Goulburn, (2015) found that in 1949, Jim Gemmell was a World War II
Returned Serviceman who was assigned to the banks of the Murray River on a dairy farm as a
way to reassimilate with society. Gemmell, like many other returned servicemen who were
assigned on these dairy farms had no experience or knowledge about dairy farming. They put their
heads and their cattle together to form the Murray Goulburn Co operative Co Ltd. This Co op
enabled the dairy farmers to have greater control over the price at which they sold their milk and
other products for. Other small factories in surrounding areas including Swan Hill, Casterton,
Deniliquin, Berrigan and Kyabram all joined the Co operative between the 1950s and the 1960s. In

Information About Security Software Developers And...
During the course of this year, I was exposed to technology and its mechanisms. This allowed me
to ponder on the possible technological career paths I could venture on. Prior to researching, I had
only decided on one profession; a physical therapist. I was mainly interested in careers related to
software and website developing. Therefore, I researched and reviewed information about security
software developers and multimedia architects. I created the Evaluation Matrix for Choosing a
Career to assist me in the process of examining the careers. In the Evaluation Matrix for Choosing
a Career , I assessed the careers according to the criteria. The two most important factors for a
career are its demand and salary. From researching, I... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Security software developers got the equivalent score as multimedia architects, but under the
weighted score, it scored only a few points off physical therapist. The difference between the
weighted score of a physical therapist and multimedia architects was 0.3 points.
All three of these careers include multiple examples of emerging technologies that help them act
efficiently. For instance, recently security software developers have been using cloud servers to
protect their information. This technology will allow developers to store the different type of
security software they create. The cloud will let them protect virtual software such as firewalls
and cyber security systems. (Mellow Jr., 2017) A major limitation of using the cloud is financial
circumstances. (Ward, 2017) The majority of cloud applications are freeware but do not include all
features. This would mean that one would have to pay a certain amount in order to customize and
add necessary features. Also, since the cloud is internet based the information made by security
software developers may not be safe. This all means security software developers need advanced
security features to maintain protection on their virtual software.
A popular new emerging technology for a physical therapist to use is virtual rehabilitation. This new
technology allows physical therapists to treat their patients with captivating, game like scenarios.

Use of Violence as the Main Reason for Mussolini s...
Use of Violence as the Main Reason for Mussolini s Consolidation of Power from 1922 1928
Introduction
В· Several reasons why Mussolini was able to consolidate his power between 1922 and 1928, such
as Mussolini?s actions and strategy, co operation from the elite and the failure of his opposition.
В· However, I believe the most significant reason was the use of violence.
Paragraph 1: Use of Violence
В· July 1923: The Chamber, surrounded by Blackshirts, passed the Acerbo Law. This said that the
party gaining the most votes in an election, provided that they obtained at least 25% of the votes,
would take two thirds of the seats.
В· April 1924: Militia violence during the election. 1 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
В· May 1924: Matteotti Crisis ? the murder of Matteotti led to the Aventine Secession and
Mussolini setting up his dictatorship.
В· Can see it was a very significant reason.
Paragraph 2: Mussolini?s Actions and Strategy
В· November 1922: Mussolini?s first speech as Prime Minister to the Chamber of Deputies. With
its mixture of references to legality and intimidation it appealed to both the elite and the ras.
В· July 1923: Acerbo Law. A good tactic however it may not have been passed without the
intimidation of the Blackshirts. Therefore violence is a more important factor.
Paragraph 3: Failure of the Opposition
В· April 1924: Whilst the government drew up its list of approved candidates for the election,
conveniently for Mussolini the opposition remained split, and the Communist Party rejected a PSI
proposal for a joint Left list. The various Liberal factions also failed to agree on one list.
В· Aventine Secession: third of the MP?s leave parliament and try to form a new government.
They think the King will dismiss Mussolini. However this was a tactical error as the official
parliament now has no critics of Mussolini.
В· Potential critics kept quiet. However this is mainly due to their fear of the Blackshirts, and
therefore I believe Blackshirt violence was a more important

Cockroach
The discarded skin becomes airborne and can cause severe asthmatic reactions, particularly to
children, the elderly and people with bronchial ailments. The cockroach begins as an egg: The
female produces an egg sac which she carries or deposits in a safe place. The young cockroach or
nymph will undergo a series of molts, shedding it s external skeleton, as it grows to adulthood. The
entire life cycle may extend to a few months depending on the species and environmental factors,
such as, access to food and moisture, adequate shelter and warm temperatures. Even the cleanest

The presence of cockroaches is often detected by their damage, smell or by the fecal matter
(called frass ) they deposit. These are clues which can aid in diagnosing a cockroach problem.
Cockroaches may use such things as glue or paste (especially from animal based materials),
starch and certain color dyes as foods. As a result, items such as stamps, envelopes, bindings of
older books, draperies and occasionally wallpapers may show signs of feeding. The size of the
mandible marks and the apparent degree of vigor with which they feed are indications of the type
of roach which did the damage. The size and shape of fecal droppings are also clues to the
cockroach species involved.
The most important aspect of cockroach damage derives from their habit of feeding and
harboring in damp and unsanitary places such as sewers, garbage disposals, kitchens,
bathrooms, and storage areas indoors. Filth from these sources is spread by the cockroaches to
food supplies, food preparation surfaces, dishes, utensils, and other surfaces. Far more food is
contaminated by cockroaches than they are able to eat. Diseases transmitted as a result of these
habits were discussed earlier. These same habits are why people are so disgusted and repulsed by
the mere presence of cockroaches. For many people, personal disgust and the social stigma
attached to cockroaches produce a complete lack of tolerance for any cockroaches in their home or
elsewhere.

During the first case study, Anne uses many various brain areas and structures. I chose to focus on
the Occipital Lobe, the Hypothalamus, and the Frontal Lobe. The Occipital Lobe is used when
Anne looks outside and at the easel she is painting on. She must see the objects she is replicating as
well as where she is painting. Another brain area that Anne uses while painting is the
Hypothalamus. This brain structure motivates her to paint what she sees in her garden. The last
brain area that I want to reference is the Frontal Lobe. Anne s Frontal Lobe allows her to move her

Group A Streptococcus (GAS) Essay
Streptococcus pyogenes, also known as Group A streptococcus (GAS), is a ОІ hemolytic, Gram
positive bacterium that most commonly causes respiratory disease, including pharyngitis or
tonsillitis, as well as skin infections such as impetigo and cellulitis. The organism is transmitted via
respiratory droplets or by contact with fomites, and commonly infects young children. In addition to
the common clinical presentations associated with S. pyogenes, some individuals develop the
postinfectious sequelae of rheumatic fever and glomerulonephritis. Due to the severity of these
medical consequences, prophylactic antibiotic use is often recommended for any patients with
otherwise mild S. pyogenes infections (21).
In addition to its traditional ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Antibiotic use, particularly with clindamycin and linezolid, may be useful in treating GAS
associated necrotizing fasciitis, as they target both M proteins and exotoxins (5). Some cases have
been treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, with recent data suggesting prompt surgical therapy
instead is vital for preventing amputations (18). Even after treatment, however, necrotizing fasciitis
mortality has been estimated to range from 24% 60% (10).
In S. pyogenes associated necrotizing fasciitis, the bacteria first invade host fascia before spreading
and causing more invasive damage. Initial GAS invasion can occur through three primary
pathways: 1) preceding superficial infection; 2) direct inoculation; or 3) hematogenous seeding
from a previous injury site. After colonization, GAS spread through the typically sterile fascial
planes that separate muscle groups, which are only loosely held together by connective tissue. The
streptococci then release several proteases and other virulence factors that cause localized tissue
damage. Simultaneously, this dissemination prompts the arrival of acute inflammatory host cells;
the response of polymorphouclear leukocytes (PMNs), in particular, can also contribute to the
tissue damage characteristic of necrotizing fasciitis. Once the

Trancendentalist unity. Whitman s Transcendentalist speaker enters the appearances and usual

The speaker, as The title already indicates taking a ferry in New York, does not waste any time
before presenting the idea that all humans are united in their common experience. The narrator

Humans And The Ai Possible Now
Humans and the AI possible now, are truly one and the same What does this mean?. The Human
body is but a foundry sundry? of systems and preconditioned thinking that is lead through cause and
effect. AI is the pinnacle of humanity s attempts at mimicking the creation of life through artificial
thinking. John R. Searle argues that the intentionality in human beings is a product of the brains
and its mental processes. He also notes that the certain brain processes are sufficient (indicating that
there is at times a bare minimum of processes) for the intentionality. He also states that the
instantiation of a computer program can be done by a human but the program would still lack the
relevant intentionality. Searle also states that, any mechanism capable of producing intentionality
must have casual powers equal to those of the brain. One important thing to note in Searle s
arguments is that he separates AI into two distinct categories. Strong AI and weak AI. Strong AI
being the advanced computers that are in fact, minds, and that these computers can actually
understand things. Weak AI on the other hand, are the computers that act as nothing more than
tools to be used to study and to serve any purpose we program it to do. Searle brings up several
arguments that he refutes such as the Systems Reply, The Robot reply, The Brain simulator reply,
the combination reply, The other minds reply, and the many mansions reply. The main argument that

Discuss the pros and cons of implementing a nationwide road pricing scheme The introduction of a
nationwide road pricing scheme has been extensively considered in the UK. Early deliberations in
the Smeed Report implemented road pricing in 1962 using a colour coding system. With
computing and telecommunications changes in recent years there is potential for the road pricing
scheme, which was a component of the labour manifesto in 2005 using satellite navigation to track
vehicle activity, to be developed and implemented. The concept of introducing a market for roads

People in a lower income bracket will be the ones who are hit hardest and have to change their
driving behaviour as the road pricing is independent of income, exhibiting price inelasticity. This
increase in inequality which could be a result of road pricing can be illustrated using the Lorenz
curve which shows the distribution of wealth, with increased inequality leading to a shift away
from the line of equality as shown by the arrow showing a higher proportion of income going to
a smaller proportion of people. There is a correlation between work flexibility and income so
people with less income will have to pay the peak time charges and the Lorenz curve will shift.
As the main aim of the scheme is to reduce congestion people may feel as though they are being
Priced off the roads. The Gini Co efficient shows distribution between households, it was
recorded that following the London Toll introduction, the co efficient increased from 0.2778 to
0.2785. Changes in road pricing have not been perceived well by the public in the UK. The
scheme has been viewed as an invasion of privacy due to the tracking technology. After a

The Theory Of Moral Development By Lawrence Kohlberg
The reason people in the society are often good than bad lies in the overall process of socialization.
Most of the individuals brought up in an environment of strict morality and teachings of fairness,
kindness and respect to others have good morals. In my opinion, all these factors should be
intertwined to enhance moral development in the society as a whole. Teachings should discourage
violence, dishonesty and selfishness and encourage a sense of fairness, cooperative tendencies and
restraint for other humans. Nevertheless, it is my belief that a strict moral code should be instilled
in the individuals through religion. The process of socialization in religion can have good effects if
it does not focus on religious extremism. The focus on human togetherness and oneness through
religion can enhance tolerance between humans in the society.
The study used the theory of moral development by Lawrence Kohlberg to articulate its views on
the process of human socialization. This theory gives three levels of moral development in the
human beings that include the pre conventional morality, conventional morality and post
conventional morality (Murphey 367). The process of socialization of children following this
theory has good results in the society. Children get to learn ways of handling things and situation
from their elders. This theory provides a consequential way through which individuals can socialize
with others in the society without causing tension or harm. The universal

How Perseverance Has Changed People s Life
Perseverance has changed many people s lives and people have even made livings from
persevering. Perseverance is doing something despite difficulty, or delay in achieving success.
Anne Frank , Steve Jobs and Derek Redmond are all examples of people who persevered to
succeed in what their goals were. Anne Frank is probably one of the most known person for
perservening. She spent almost 2 years in an attic with 7 other people, to hide from the Nazis
who were taking over many countries. Anne, despite everything happening, she still found ways
to do her school work and all of her lessons. She also did all of her chores while also overcoming all
of the odds, she wrote a journal about all the things that have changed in her life about the

Phar Lap Essay Questions
Phar Lap the movie, produced by John Sexton, is relatively accurate to historical fact. This is
largely due to the good representation of the horse himself and those closely involved with him.
History is not conclusive itself and the film is vague in the corresponding areas. The producers
showed the horse very accurately. Phar Lap, played by Towering Inferno, is a very similar
colour of reddish chestnut. As seen in the later part of the film at Agua Caliente, he is shown to
be taller than most of the horses. His behaviour is also very similar to fact as well. It was known
he would pull hair and shirts of stableboys, so the scene of the first meeting Tommy Woodcock is
entirely possible. Other characters are also portrayed accurately. Phar Lap s main jockey, James
Jim Pike are also shown quite accurately. The jacket colours were real as Phar Lap did race under
different two different themes. Originally it was a red jacket with black... Show more content on

Phar Lap did lose his first few races. It was not until 1929 when he won the Maiden Juvenile
Handicap he won first place for a race. Mr Telford did train him quite hard though exact records
of methods are not currently available. There is most likely an inaccuracy as in the film he is
shown to be running in desert like sand dunes but this may not have happened. It is known Phar
Lap was shot at in the street. The event did occur from a car but exact weapons and style, for
example drive by or stationary, are vague. The producers may have fictitiously embellished the
story here. The Agua Caliente race in America is also relatively close to fact. Phar Lap did race
in new shoes, although not exclusively shown in the film, with a split hoof. There is also no final
or definite statement as to how Phar Lap died. As such the film also vague and does not provide a
final solution. It also recognises the fact that a large amount of arsenic was present in Phar Lap as
stated by many

Federal Funding For Public Broadcasting
The purpose of this paper is to explore the pros and cons of the proposal to eliminate federal
funding to The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). In doing so, first we will explore
several facets of this issue including first the cost of funding from both a governmental and
taxpayer perspective. Secondly, understanding the services provided and the audience served is
integral in this discussion. Lastly, we will consider government s role in media and education. The
conversation, however, must start with the history, values, and goals of this organization.
It was The Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 (Public Broadcasting Act of 1967), signed into law by
then President Lyndon Johnson, which created CPB, a private nonprofit corporation. ... Show more

Furthermore, the station serves as a resource for educational material for parents and teachers to
ensure their students success (Corporation for Public Broadcasting). Noteworthy examples include
Mister Roger s Neighborhood, which aired from 1968 2001, and was funded by CPB beginning in
1970. Another childhood favorite, Sesame Street, which first aired in 1969, and All Things
Considered which premiered in 1971. Considering the turbulent times of that era, the support of this
programming was a much needed breath of fresh air. Other programs include The Electric
Company, NOVA, Morning Edition, and Masterpiece Theater. The list is extensive and broad
reaching. Considering their worth to the communities in which we live, is it ethical to defund this
programming? Fred Rogers, of Mister Roger s Neighborhood, also made a significant contribution
to CPB. It was the year 1969 when the Senate Subcommittee on Communications first began
discussing cutting funds to CPB that Mr. Rogers made his plea against the proposal (Corporation
for Public Broadcasting). Almost 50 years later, this same issue is again on the table. One must
wonder how detrimental cutting funds would impact the educational programming to which Mr.
Rogers was so undeniably committed. First, let s consider the cost.
Accounting for less than 1% of the government s annual budget, many smaller stations, including
those in rural areas, rely on such funding

The the songs that were sung help develop the characters for three different reasons. First, the song
that the dwarves sang explained a lot about themselves, their goals and about the surrounding. The

forgotten gold . The main goal for the dwarves is to get the gold back. It also said misty mountains
The pines were roaring The Trees like torches blazed with light . The song is deep and it sorta

The truth about Maddox is he can be a part of the scientific research the division of Starfleet with

Summary Of The Hidden History Of The Olympic Games
Advancement of Political Agendas
The video on the Hidden History of the Olympic Games provides intriguing revelations that the
Olympic Games are driven by astonishing propaganda associated with international rivalry and
social struggles (Poulton, 2012). The video clarifies that Olympic Games have preserved the
colonial strategies and operations in most host nations and cities by the organizing bodies (Poulton,
2012). This has caused the production of unique ceremonies and symbolisms while supporting the
encroachment of thieving indigenous lands in host colonies. For instance, Germany used the event
to advocate the myth of Aryan racial dominance and physical prowess in the 1936 Berlin games.
The German artists emerged to idealize athletes through sculptures and significant forms with
muscle tones and physically fit features (Mason, 2012). The significance of the Munich massacre
is that retribution is harshly critical in political agendas. This caused a loss of potential athlete
skills where about 11 athletes were demised. A rivalry was triggered from the occasion even though
the authorities were informed of terror attacks (Mason, 2012).

Apathy According To The Dalai Lama
How does the Dalai Lama define apathy? Using this definition, discuss how apathy might manifest
at following energy centers: Root, Sacral, Solar, Heart and Throat. Be sure to provide supporting
details and examples.
According to the Dalai Lama, apathy is a form of selfishness that stems from concentrating solely
within our inner development. Apathy occurs when we lose connection to the problems to societal
and global problems. This includes being aware of these issue both also indifferent to them as they
may not affect us directly. The Dalai Lama suggests that we approach ethics with global
responsibility, which essentially indicates that we must be aware of and willing to appreciate about
the environment around us.

Individuals often operate out of fear regarding the environment around them. This fear may develop
from traumas around abandonment and physical neglect. Individuals with abandonment traumas
are likely not willing to feel safe in or trust the environment around them. They may feel like their

Sacral: Guilt can feed apathetic disconnection with one s surroundings through defense
mechanisms, such as denial. Many are in denial about the issues plaguing the Earth today. They
are more often than not, suppressing guilt for their contributions to these global problems. People
with imbalances in the sacral chakra may experience lack of desire and passion to contribute
positively to society, which directly relates to apathy. In addition, these people were possibly

Annotated Bibliography On Video Games
Annotated Bibliography I decided to research the negative effect video games have on
people.Video games, especially violent ones, have become increasingly popular over the last
several years. Kids will sit in front of a television for hours straight playing the same game. In
these games, they kill humans, zombie, animals, and more. I ve always wonder what effect
these violent games have on people. Staring at these aggressive video games for so long can t be
a good thing. Kids find video games so addictive; they can t put them down. This is why I decided
to research this topic. To find out the different ways these games can affect people.
Once I started researching this topic, I found out that video games can affect people s moods
making them more aggressive and irritable. People become obsessed with video games and often
withdraw from normal life (work, school, and family). They can acquire social anxiety or
depression from the lack of daily socialization. Some people become very unproductive and only
care about their game. It s like the video game takes over people s lives.
I found articles, books, and reports relating to my topic that each gave me more information on the
topic. All of them included facts backing up their ideas and many stated the same ideas. I found
these sources by using a database, that way I knew they were reliable. The most useful sources
were the books. They provides the most information while staying unbiased. These sources make

General Dwight Eisenhower as a Critical Thinker
Strategic decisions made by General Dwight Eisenhower during WWII were significant and give
excellent examples of four components of Steve Gerras Critical Thinking model. Generals during
World War II faced daily innumerable difficult and grave decisions. Critical decisions made during
WWII did not have the depth and speed of today s modern communications infrastructure.
Eisenhower quoted, Making decisions is of the essence in leadership. 1 During World War II,
while in command of the Mediterranean theater, Eisenhower made the strategic decision of making
the commitment to radiate confidence no matter how dire the circumstances or how pessimistic he
might actually feel. He wrote, My mannerisms and speech in public would always reflect the
cheerful certainty of victory that any pessimism and discouragement that I might ever feel would
be reserved for my pillow. 2 Critical thinking according to Professor Steve Gerras is deliberate.
Gerras Critical Thinking Model components are as follows: clarify the concern, point of view,
assumptions, inferences, evaluation of information, and implications. The model is not meant to be
sequential or linear, however always starts with clarify the concern . Evaluation of Eisenhower s
decision to radiate confidence no matter how dire the circumstances in context to Gerras Critical
thinking model spotlights clarify the concern and point of view . Application of these two

Radish Seed Experiment Essay
For my seed experiment I had decided to see what the effect of sprinkling salt on a radish seed
would be. So for my control group I had set six (6) cherry radish seeds in between a damp paper
towel and then closed it within a Ziploc bag. For my experimental I had set it up the exact same
way as the control group but I would sprinkle salt on top of seeds before I zipped up the baggie. I
sprinkled the salt on the experimental seeds and dampened the paper towel once every day. Each
bag was stored in the light and at room temperature(~70В° F.)
Before, I started I made a prediction for the experiment. I thought the salt on top of the seed and
inside the paper towel would soak up water and dehydrate the seed and make the paper towel go

Hydrostatic Force on a Plane Surface
September 26, 2003
CVEN 3313 Theoretical Fluid Mechanics
Module#1:
1 1. OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this module is to investigate hydrostatic forces on a plane surface under partial and
full submersion.
2 2. DESCRIPTION
The apparatus shown in Figure 1 will be used. It consists of a quarter circle block attached to a
cantilevered arm with a rectangular surface on the other end. The pivot point on the arm
corresponds to the center of radius of the block. With no water in the tank, and no weights on the
scale, the arm is horizontal. As weights are added one by one to the scales, water can be added to
the tank so that the hydrostatic force balances the weights and bring the arm back to horizontal.
3 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Note on your table when the plane surface is no longer fully submerged.
6 4. RESULTS ANALYSIS
1) Derive equations for the mass (Mtheoretical) that balances the hydrostatic force for the partially
submerged case. (i.e. h less than a) Mtheoretical = f(a, b, g, k, h, L, Оіw)
2) Derive equations for the mass (Mtheoretical) that balances the hydrostatic force for the fully
submerged case. (i.e. h greater than a) Mtheoretical = f(a, b, g, k, h, L, Оіw)
3) Compute Mtheoretical for each value of h you measured. Tabulate h, Mactual, Mtheoretical, and
other data you obtained.
4) Plot Mactual vs h and Mtheoretical vs h on the same graph (h on the x axis.) What does the
shape of the graph indicate about the hydrostatic force for each case (partially and fully submerged)?
5) Plot Mactual vs Mtheoretical .
7 5. DISCUSSION
1) Compare and discuss actual and theoretical results. Are they similar? If there is any discrepancy,
what are possible sources of error?
2) State qualitatively why an incremental change in mass (i.e. 50 g) for the fully submerged case
results in a different change in height, О”h, than the same incremental change in mass for the
partially submerged case.
3) In this experiment, only the forces on the plane surface were considered. Do the hydrostatic
forces on the curved surface of the quarter circle block affect the measurement? State why or why

Essay about Urban Legends
Joel Beckwith Febuary 13, 2001
Urban Legends
In this paper I will explain exactly what an urban legend is,and
give some examples of very popular ones that have been passed by
word of mouth for decades across the United States.
1 quot; An urban legend is a story that is so bizarre, horrifying,or
unexplainable, that it makes something inside of us want to believe
it. quot; Urban Legends can have traced origins from other countries,
universities, states, or people, that just decided to made up as

to dry her wet dog in the microwave(the dog explodes.) Other

as they pick her up, and old men that eat little children!
Many urban legends involve gruesome deaths and murders. This
particular legend was supposed to have happened at the University
of Illinois campus. A girl got off one evening and made the way to
the door where she lived. She and her room mate had an agreement
that if either one or them brought a guy back to their dorm, they would
put a rubberband on the doorknob. When the girl got to the door, she
found a rubberband and walked in without turning on the lights. She
heard moving and heaving breathing,so she decided to go right to
bed.The next morning the girl woke up only to find her roommate
gruesomely murdered. The girl screamed and ran for the door, but
before she walked out she looked at the wall.Written in blood was

Analysis Of Jack Coughlin s Shooter
ShooterWar is truly violent and awful job, especially for a sniper. Shooter is about a Marine
scout sniper named Jack Coughlin that plays a small role in the 2003 invasion of Iraq. His new
style of urban sniping makes it much easier for his fellow Marines. He takes out threats before
they can even come close to his men. He is at the front of the action as the Вѕ battalion moves from
town to town on a campaign to Baghdad. In this journal, I will visualize a sandstorm, clarifying
Jack meeting the person he shot, that lived, and connecting Jack meeting his enemy and a football
game.

The moment when Jack meets the man he shot, is similar to shaking hand with the opposing
team after a football game. After a football game both teams line up and shake hands and say
good game to each other. During this time you are showing clemency for the people you were
just beating on moments ago. In many cases there are a few players numbers that you remember
specifically. When you shake these specific players hands you might give them an additional pat
on the back as you walk by. In that split second of respect for each other, as your looking each
other in the eye, you often remember the most from the whole night. The same person you were
trying to hurt is now the same person shaking your hand. Usually whoever was the obvious
winner between the two players pats the loser on the back, almost saying a condescending good
try to the other player. When Jack met the man he shot, he obviously won the conflict between the
two, so he was tried to be altruistic almost like giving him a pat on the back. The losers of the
fight or game normally have a sad, disappointed look on their face. Just like the losing team in
football. The same face Achmed had when talking to Jack. Meeting someone personally after
winning a fight with them is a humbling

  • 2. Alteration Of The Surrounding Rock An Overview of Hydrothermal Ore Process Fluid Source, Compositions, and Transportation Hydrothermal solutions cause alteration of the surrounding rock. Hydrothermal ore forming processes can be found everywhere on Earth throughout the crust, most observed ore deposits have more than likely been touched by Hydrothermal ore forming processes. Rose and Burt (1979) state that Hydrothermal alteration is conversion of an initial mineral assemblage to a new set of minerals more stable under hydrothermal conditions of temperature, pressure, and most importantly, fluid composition (p. 173). Hydrothermal alteration is considered a type of metamorphism, metamorphism is the recrystallization of a parent rock a more stable to new minerals. The type ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Meteoric waters are widespread through the crust (because of the method of delivery being rain rainfall) and are associated with many types of ore formations. The oxygen and hydrogen isotopes compositions of meteoric water, both surface and as groundwater, vary systematically over the entire globe as a function of latitude and elevation (Robb, 2005, p 133). The way in which meteoric water is identified are the ОґD and Оґ18O isotopic values that land near or along this line ОґD=8Г—Оґ^18 O+10. Connate water(brines) also called formational water are inclusions in interstitial pores as deposited, which goes back to originally being meteoric water or sea water. Through the processes of burial, compaction, and lithification ore deposits form, because of the transformation of the sediment into lithified rock an aqueous solutions form ore deposits. The ОґD and Оґ18O isotopic values for connate waters range a great deal. The ОґD and Оґ18O isotopic values of oil field brines samples taken throughout North America exhibited a scattered from which each sample was taken. Metamorphic waters ranges from high temperatures 300 600В°C. Metamorphic waters are produces through the processes of dehydration and decarbonation reactions in the mid and lower crust. According to Gene he states, going there risked expulsion, and destroyed the studying I was going to do for an important test the next morning (Knowles 23). Gene had known what the beach meant risk wise, but had still went in order to prove a point. Gene had thought Finny brought him there to get him off his game, and so he could fail his test. • 4. Gender Roles In The Fairy Tale Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm wrote their version of Cinderella in 1812. The fairy tale is about a young girl who is forced to live with her two evil stepsisters and stepmother. Cinderella tries to be positive and devout, even though her family is atrocious to her. In the end, the prince takes Cinderella to his castle and they live happily ever after. The story describes the gender roles, conflicts, and implies how the story has changed over time. Frequently in the story, the characters traits are based on their gender. The women tend to be more focused on their outward appearance, as the men look at and judge women on how beautiful they are. Cinderellawas a perfect archetype of how women are judged today and throughout history. She... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Her stepmother didn t treat her very fairly either. She refused to let Cinderella go to the festival because she was unkempt, and she didn t want Cinderella to ruin her reputation (Grimm 3). Her stepmother also didn t want Cinderella to try on the shoe the prince brought because, again, she was too dirty (Grimm 8). As well as Cinderella having bounteous rivalries with those in her household, she probably also struggled with herself. When Cinderella s mom died, she told her to Always be good and pious, and God will take care of you, and I will look down upon you from heaven, and will be with you (Grimm 1). With all that Cinderella s been through, that must be unimaginably hard to live by every day. Cinderella still pushed through the hardships and ends up coming out on top. The story of Cinderella has changed countless ways throughout time. Everyone tells a story differently and puts their own twist on it. Over time, all the details can start to look completely different from the original. In the Disney version of Cinderella, there was a fairy godmother who granted Cinderella s wish to go to the ball. The only condition was that she be home by midnight or everything would disappear. In the original story, Cinderella puts a hazel twig on her mother s grave, and it grows into a tree that has a bird who grants all of Cinderella s wishes with no conditions (Grimm 2). During this paper i will talk about its background, the parts, how it works and how it is different from the ISS (International Space Station). The Saturn V rocket has 3 stages in its launch. The first stage carries around 203,400 gallons (770,000 liters) of kerosene fuel and 318,000 gallons (1.2 million liters) of liquid oxygen needed for combustion. At liftoff the F 1 rocket engines produces 7.5 million pounds of thrust. The Saturn V rocket was a rocket that used the tallest and heaviest rocket for low earth orbit (LEO). The Saturn V rockets used for the Apollo missions had three stages. Each stage would burn its engines until it was out of fuel and would then separate from the rocket. The engines on the next stage would fire, and the rocket would continue into space. The first stage had the most powerful engines, since it had the challenging task of lifting the fully fueled rocket off the ground. The first stage lifted the rocket to an altitude of about 68 kilometers or 42 miles. The second stage carried it from there almost into orbit. The third stage placed the Apollo spacecraft into Earth orbit and pushed it toward the moon. The first two stages fell into the ocean after separation. The third stage either stayed in space or hit the moon. Now we will talk about how fast the Saturn V rocket can go. In order for the Saturn V rocket to break free of the Earth s gravitational pull, it will need to travel approximately 7 miles per second. The fastest speed obtained by a manned vehicle orbiting the moon to Earth in 1969 is 11.08km/s or 24,791 miles per hour. After the launch the Saturn V burned for almost 6 minutes giving it a velocity close to the Earth s escape velocity of 11.2 km/s or 25,053 miles per ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. The Issue Of Abortion And Abortion Abortion is one of the most debatable and controversial issues that exists in our society. An abortion is a medical procedure that terminates a pregnancy before 24 weeks. People who call themselves Pro Life feel that it is the government s responsibility to preserve all life, regardless of concerns for the pregnant woman s health, or for the quality of the life of the child. The Pro Choice argument feels that a woman should have the choice when it comes to what they wish to do with their own reproductive organs. There s many arguments regarding abortions. One of many is that adoption is a viable alternative to abortion. This statement implies that the only reason a woman would want to get an abortion is to avoid raising a child, and that isn t the case. Depending on the circumstances, the mere act of having a child in a hospital can cost between $3,000 and $37,000 in the United States. Giving birth is dangerous, too: In the United States, pregnancy complications are the sixth most common cause of death for women between the ages of 20 and 34. Another misconception often thought about abortions is If a woman has sex, she has to pay the consequences. Too many women have abortions for their own convenience or on impulse. Pro Life activists leave no room for the grey area, which is unfair. Did you know over 2 thirds of women who have abortions were on birth control or using protection. And what about the women who are abstinent but were raped or victim to incest. I believe ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 10. Are Competitive Sports Good For Kids Of late, people have talked about how competitive sports for kids aren t good. They talk about injuries, and stress, but there is also another side to this argument. There are many reasons why competitive sports are very good for kids health, such as they help fight obesity, they improve kids mental health, and they help prevent diseases. First off, sports for youth, helps prevent obesity for kids, in a time where that is becoming a real problem. Competitive sports, force kids to practice, a few times a week, and play games. This will help kids get out of their houses, and be active, which prevents them from becoming obese. A study by Stanford shows that competitive sports do keep kids underweight. And often times they are denied those freedoms by the interpretation of various laws. The First Amendment of the United States of America Constitution clearly gives us our religious freedom above and beyond all created laws. Religious freedom also helps with the development of an economy when religious groups are free to operate in a competitive environment religion can play a role in major social development of countries. Use of Violence as the Main Reason for Mussolini s Consolidation of Power from 1922 1928 Introduction В· Several reasons why Mussolini was able to consolidate his power between 1922 and 1928, such as Mussolini?s actions and strategy, co operation from the elite and the failure of his opposition. В· However, I believe the most significant reason was the use of violence. Paragraph 1: Use of Violence В· July 1923: The Chamber, surrounded by Blackshirts, passed the Acerbo Law. With its mixture of references to legality and intimidation it appealed to both the elite and the ras. В· July 1923: Acerbo Law. A good tactic however it may not have been passed without the intimidation of the Blackshirts. Therefore violence is a more important factor. Paragraph 3: Failure of the Opposition В· April 1924: Whilst the government drew up its list of approved candidates for the election, conveniently for Mussolini the opposition remained split, and the Communist Party rejected a PSI proposal for a joint Left list. The various Liberal factions also failed to agree on one list. В· Aventine Secession: third of the MP?s leave parliament and try to form a new government. They think the King will dismiss Mussolini. However this was a tactical error as the official parliament now has no critics of Mussolini. В· Potential critics kept quiet. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The presence of cockroaches is often detected by their damage, smell or by the fecal matter (called frass ) they deposit. These are clues which can aid in diagnosing a cockroach problem. Cockroaches may use such things as glue or paste (especially from animal based materials), starch and certain color dyes as foods. As a result, items such as stamps, envelopes, bindings of older books, draperies and occasionally wallpapers may show signs of feeding. The size of the mandible marks and the apparent degree of vigor with which they feed are indications of the type of roach which did the damage. The size and shape of fecal droppings are also clues to the cockroach species involved. The most important aspect of cockroach damage derives from their habit of feeding and harboring in damp and unsanitary places such as sewers, garbage disposals, kitchens, bathrooms, and storage areas indoors. Filth from these sources is spread by the cockroaches to food supplies, food preparation surfaces, dishes, utensils, and other surfaces. Far more food is contaminated by cockroaches than they are able to eat. Diseases transmitted as a result of these habits were discussed earlier. These same habits are why people are so disgusted and repulsed by the mere presence of cockroaches. For many people, personal disgust and the social stigma attached to cockroaches produce a complete lack of tolerance for any cockroaches in their home or elsewhere. ... After colonization, GAS spread through the typically sterile fascial planes that separate muscle groups, which are only loosely held together by connective tissue. Our materials for our new lines will include tribal print and animal print, through extensive research we have conclude that this will be a wave of fashion that if handled correctly will have a staying power that is detrimental in the handbag business. Price: Designer watches of course will be affected by the cost of research and acquisition of a reputable designer but for the brand to be recognized they will have to start creating a slide, ie, a current price is 375$ for a rose gold plated watch. It has been noted that these watches turn colors after limited use. A partnership with Movado will enhance the novelty and the price so expect to be seeing 1000$ being a price for a watch, if only as to secure this market. Handbags also will need an upheaval in price so far. Note, prices in the range of 5000 7500$ for a bag with tribal print and/or animal print this will give the consumer recognition of this brand in a non fad way.

The Human body is but a foundry sundry? of systems and preconditioned thinking that is lead through cause and effect. AI is the pinnacle of humanity s attempts at mimicking the creation of life through artificial thinking. John R. Searle argues that the intentionality in human beings is a product of the brains and its mental processes. He also notes that the certain brain processes are sufficient (indicating that there is at times a bare minimum of processes) for the intentionality. He also states that the instantiation of a computer program can be done by a human but the program would still lack the relevant intentionality. Searle also states that, any mechanism capable of producing intentionality must have casual powers equal to those of the brain. One important thing to note in Searle s arguments is that he separates AI into two distinct categories. Strong AI and weak AI. Strong AI being the advanced computers that are in fact, minds, and that these computers can actually understand things. Weak AI on the other hand, are the computers that act as nothing more than tools to be used to study and to serve any purpose we program it to do. Searle brings up several arguments that he refutes such as the Systems Reply, The Robot reply, The Brain simulator reply, the combination reply, The other minds reply, and the many mansions reply. Discuss the pros and cons of implementing a nationwide road pricing scheme The introduction of a nationwide road pricing scheme has been extensively considered in the UK. Early deliberations in the Smeed Report implemented road pricing in 1962 using a colour coding system. With computing and telecommunications changes in recent years there is potential for the road pricing scheme, which was a component of the labour manifesto in 2005 using satellite navigation to track vehicle activity, to be developed and implemented. People in a lower income bracket will be the ones who are hit hardest and have to change their driving behaviour as the road pricing is independent of income, exhibiting price inelasticity. This increase in inequality which could be a result of road pricing can be illustrated using the Lorenz curve which shows the distribution of wealth, with increased inequality leading to a shift away from the line of equality as shown by the arrow showing a higher proportion of income going to a smaller proportion of people. There is a correlation between work flexibility and income so people with less income will have to pay the peak time charges and the Lorenz curve will shift. Most of the individuals brought up in an environment of strict morality and teachings of fairness, kindness and respect to others have good morals. In my opinion, all these factors should be intertwined to enhance moral development in the society as a whole. Teachings should discourage violence, dishonesty and selfishness and encourage a sense of fairness, cooperative tendencies and restraint for other humans. Nevertheless, it is my belief that a strict moral code should be instilled in the individuals through religion. The process of socialization in religion can have good effects if it does not focus on religious extremism. The focus on human togetherness and oneness through religion can enhance tolerance between humans in the society. The study used the theory of moral development by Lawrence Kohlberg to articulate its views on the process of human socialization. This theory gives three levels of moral development in the human beings that include the pre conventional morality, conventional morality and post conventional morality (Murphey 367). The video clarifies that Olympic Games have preserved the colonial strategies and operations in most host nations and cities by the organizing bodies (Poulton, 2012). This has caused the production of unique ceremonies and symbolisms while supporting the encroachment of thieving indigenous lands in host colonies. For instance, Germany used the event to advocate the myth of Aryan racial dominance and physical prowess in the 1936 Berlin games. The German artists emerged to idealize athletes through sculptures and significant forms with muscle tones and physically fit features (Mason, 2012). The significance of the Munich massacre is that retribution is harshly critical in political agendas. This caused a loss of potential athlete skills where about 11 athletes were demised.
