EXPLANATION OF DESIGN CHOICES FOR MY FRONT

Before doing the sketch of my magazine front page I looked at
some music cover magazine in internet; then I decided to do the
masthead of my music magazine in pink colour (fuchsia) because I
think it attracts the reader a lot: it’s a bright and strong colour.
The masthead is ‘ALL pop’: it’s at the top of the front page; the
word ‘ALL’ is written in bold and the word ‘pop’ is written in
italics and it’s positioned in diagonal.
Over the masthead there’s the puff, which consists of some
names, about which you can read in the magazine. The names
are black and in bold.
The cover lines are positioned on the left side and on the right
side: they are in black and fuchsia, which are the most used
colours in all over the front page. Some of those are in bold and
some other in lowercase. In the middle of the cover magazine
there’s a photograph of a girl and under it the girl’s name, always
written in fuchsia and black colour. Now I have to take a picture
of a girl and maybe a boy. She has black hair and possibly I hope
she could wear a pink and black dress, so that she’s perfect for
my front page.
I will also put another picture at the bottom right. Next to the
photograph there’s another cover line connected to it.
There’s also the barcode and the magazine’s price at the bottom
on the left side.

2. Lastly the background is white and the only colours you can see
are white, fuchsia and black.
