There is various different covers for the album but this advert is showing the cover with red flowers, this then appeals to different groups of people. The advert is not only advertising the album but it is also advertising her website and other magazines as there is comments shown on the advert with ratings.
3. Advertisement two The multicolour tiles added into the background also connotes the title of the song. This is because the bright colours will represent a bright day, the colours could be representing the sun as these colours make the advert look brighter. It also shows the artist more clear on the advert as the colours are used behind her head, this may also look like the artist is glowing. Making her stand out and appeal to the readers of the advert. This advertisement is very simple and basic. The advert centres the artists faces and hands making her look very vulnerable. There is various lines of text and the same font is used throughout. This makes it stand out from the images used. But the text used is very traditional. The background connotes the title of the song ‘a day follows night’ this is because the colours used represent the start of a day. However it then makes the advert look dull and simplistic.
4. Advertisement three The text written on the advert uses a basic and simplistic font style, but it comes across to readers easily. This is because the white on red background connotes power and will appeal to many different readers. The advert also promotes her own personal website with her link posted on her advert. This will then mean she may get more fans and people purchasing her new album. This is also because the quote ‘out now!’ stands out under the name of her album. This music advertisement has used quite bright colours to make it stand out. The colours used are reds blacks and whites. The colour red connoted power, love or danger. In this case the colour is representing love and power as Katy Carr’s genre of music is country pop and her songs represent aspects of love and lust.
