Executive Officer Operations Division 03/06 – 03/08
KEYACCOMPLISHMENTS:
I competently managed the day-to-day operations of the Operations Division of 8 branches and over 100
personnel, the largest Division within the Army National Guard (ARNG) Directorate. I ensured that the
Division leadership was fully prepared for all meetings, briefings, travel, and conferences.
During the Slating process for movement of personnel within the Army National Guard Directorate I
updated the Division's Table of Distribution and Allowances to support the division chief in the slating
process and the movement of personnel in the division.
I supervised the supply personnel in the documentation, accountability, and serviceability of more than
$10 million worth of property and supplies with zero incidences.
I continually worked beyond normal duty hours to eliminate pass due evaluations, due to movement of
personnel and management oversight, for Division personnel, completing forty-two past due reports
within a seven-day period of time, some requiring signatures from personnel stationed in Afghanistan and
Iraq. Due to the issue with overdue evaluation reports I developed an administrative evaluation database
for tracking to show upcoming evaluations and their status thus providing situational awareness on the
evaluation process allowing for 100% accuracy and completion of all evaluations within the execution
timeline.
I coordinated all awards and ceremonies, efficiently and fully utilizing protocol support.
I oversaw the Staff Action Management System (SAMS) to ensure tasks and staff actions assigned to the
Division were processed well within standard and assisted the G1 with management of SAMS and related
issues with the number of overdue actions within the Army National Guard (ARNG) Directorate
providing a name for the Division as a Team Player.
I was known for my level headed approach to actions and completing tasks with a calm demeanor show
success in all tasks that I completed.
I continuously coordinated with the Army Staff to ensure that Executive Communications and Control
Taskers were completed on time and to standard. I executed additional coordination with internal
Division elements, Army Directorate Staff, National Guard Bureau staff, and the Headquarter of 54 state
and territory Headquarters for execution of ARNGOperation Division Activities.
