HUMAN INTELLIGENCE COLLECTOR (HUMINT) (2008 – 2014)
Excelled as Senior Non-Commissioned Officer with Military Engagement Teams and Interrogation Operations
with over 3000 Intelligence Information Reports. Liaised with South Korean counterparts and U.S. Embassy
staff to analyze threat areas, debrief reports, and coordinate sources. Parsed intelligence reports for accurate,
actionable intelligence and prepared documentation for clarity and context. Expanded forward thinking
intelligence gathering on the intensifying ground events in Afghanistan, extracted valuable information and
presented findings in a timely manner.
In prior roles, managed daily Human Intelligence training operations in various roles coinciding with rapid rank
promotion and increased responsibility. Approached operational planning and activities to assure the most
efficient and economical execution of assigned missions. Coached, mentored, and advised trainees using the
HUMINT Operations cycle and Military Source Operations procedures. Prepared HUMINT collectors for future
deployments in support of U.S. Special Operations Command, US Central Command, and US Army Central.

● Hand-selected by another unit’s leadership to fill temporary role of NCOIC for team of 45 personnel for
8 months in a combat zone; mentored new team in all aspects of Joint Detainee Interrogation Facility

● Designed and led field training exercises focusing on Small Unit Tactics, Army Warrior Tasks and
Drills, and Situational Training Exercises (STX). Led a two week interrogation training program on ten
critical tasks, raising company from under-performing status to field ready status in HUMINT
Operations.
Data Collection / Information Analysis: Analyzed and interpreted intelligence data, provided key analysts
within the intelligence community pertinent information. Conducted in-depth debriefs of key sources to attain
critical information regarding escalating events in Afghanistan, resulting in numerous positive performance
evaluations.
● Afghanistan 2009-2011. Produced over 2750 Intelligence Information Reports and 75 time sensitive
reports in response and support of CENTCOM, ARCENT, and DIA—one report briefed to OGA
officials and the President of the United States. Worked as financial investigator subject matter expert
and developed helpful tools towards finance collection of adversary organizations.
● Screening Operations. Senior interviewer in charge of screening and debriefing of high level internees.
Supervised and directed over 3000 screenings cases. Created sound questioning techniques and
improved operations 100% by advancing screening tasks and data filing.
Operations Management: Ensured battalion maintained proper compliance with all security related regulations
and guidelines by conducting battalion wide security inspections. Oversaw the tracking and monitoring of 400+
soldiers and civilians, including proper security clearance credentials. Leveraged outstanding interpersonal and
communication skills to effectively lead, mentor, motivate, and counsel peers and subordinates.
● Improved and standardized work processes and procedures; newly created files and documents added to
Unit Standard Operating Procedures.
● Conducted innovative quarterly Equal Opportunity training, exceeding the installation’s quarterly goal

● Managed over $500,000 worth of equipment as well as classified sensitive communications and

Foreign Deployment: Dispatched to sensitive areas of Afghanistan to serve in critical HUMINT and HUMINT
training roles. Revitalized team's collection plan resulting in optimal intelligence collection execution and
improved intelligence support to critical operations. Training and supervision of Collectors led to various

● Drove extensive operational training during STX 09-03 and Mission Readiness Exercise (MRE) 09-01,
resulted in HUMINT teams being 100% qualified to conduct their wartime missions.
● Managed over 25 contacts and conducted over 115 personal meets that resulted in meeting CJSOTF-A
and Special Operations Task Force-East (SOTF-E) Priority Intelligence Requirements.
● Led team to collect and produce over 900 intelligence information reports and 30 time sensitive reports,
providing the SFODA Commander critical information.
● Provided additional support to multiple missions, conducted interrogations, and identified 16 persons of
interest and 3 Taliban High Value Individuals.
