2) Learning from past operations, operators are planning for the future of subsea well intervention by developing new technologies like temporary riser systems to allow more extensive intervention capabilities subsea.
3) These new temporary riser systems will enable a wider range of intervention activities subsea like drilling of sidetracks, helping to increase recovery from maturing subsea fields.
Coiled tubing technology
A 1995-1998 project evaluated using coiled tubing for artificial lift applications. Shell successfully used coiled tubing to deploy an electric submersible pump offshore for the first time. Other applications of coiled tubing for artificial lift that were studied included gas lift, jet pumps, and deploying coiled tubing for well unloading and recompletions. A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.

The word “stage” is used to mean two different things. This confuses everybody, and it has been this way for at least a quarter-century. FRAC REPORTS • If you work for an oil company, you may deal with frac reports. • These documents may look complicated, but don’t despair! I’ll use “fluid stage” and “perf zone stage.” There is no standard terminology.
