On Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 7:00pm the Momenta Quartet, comprised of a violist, a cellist, and
two violinists, performed their third night of the Momenta Festival III at the Italian Academy. The
classical concert, curated by Michael Haas, the cellist, was entitled A Room with a View and explored
Italy through the eyes of foreign composers. The program featured Benjamin Britten s String Quartet
No. 3 in G Major, Op. 94 (1975), Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky s Souvenir de Florence Op. 70 for string
sextet (1890), and the world premiere of Claude Baker s Années de pélerinage: Italie (2016 2017). In
this essay, I will be focusing on the performance of Britten s piece, String Quartet No. 3 in G Major.
The work has five movements structured in a pattern of slow fast slow fast slow all of which are

Overall, the concert was very enjoyable. The stunning Teatro had large windows and great acoustics
because of its high ceilings. The proscenium stage framed the musicians semi circle well. I originally
approached this concert feeling disappointed that I would not get to experience a full orchestra;

days, the Waco, Texas siege would confuse our nation on who to defend; the Branch Davidians at
Mount Carmel or the FBI. In this essay, I will argue that the FBI had to be the main culprit in this
event by ending the standoff in flames from the tear gas used. But first, I want to discuss how David
Koresh got sealed in the world of religion. David Koresh was born in 1959 as Vernon Wayne Howell
in the city of Houston, Texas; his childhood was fairly stressful since he never knew his real parents
and thus raised by his grandparents. But by the age of 12, he started getting interest in the Bible and
started remembering parts of it. In 1981, Howell joined the Branch Davidians after a difficult musical
career of rock music. After departing due to a power struggle for leadership with followers, he returns

Comparative study of using 17α methyltestosterone and some medicine plants as reproductive
controller agents of Oreochromis niloticus (Linnaeus, 1758)

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to compare of using 17α methyltestosterone (17α MT), pawpaw (Carica papaya)
seeds powder (PSP), and neem (Azadirachta indica) leaves powder (NLP) as reproductive controller
agents for Oreochromis niloticus. This experiment was divided into three consecutive periods; the first
period was the treating period with dietary 17α MT, PSP, and NLP, for 71 days. Then, the second
period for rearing the obtained fingerlings till the adult stage for 190 days. While, the third period was
conducted for 90 days for spawning the mature treated fish. The treatments were (T1) hormone
untreated mixed sex fry (control); (T2) fry treated with 60 mg 17α MT / kg diet for 28 days; (T3) fry
treated with 6 g PSP / kg diet for 45 days and (T4) 1 g NLP / kg diet for 60 days. In treating period,
results revealed that differences in all growth performance parameters and FCR among all treatments
were not significant. In rearing period, results showed that fish treated with 17α MT gave the highest
significant (P ≤ 0.05) values of growth performance, highest male percentage and economic efficiency
followed by PSP, then NLP compared to the mixed sex group. While, the

His character is inspired by Tomas Garrido Canabal, the governor of Tabasco who got the state rid of
every priest. However, Greene had not found the idealism or integrity of the lieutenant of the Power
and the Glory among the police and pisteleros [he] had actually encountered [he] had to invent him as
a counter to the failed priest (Ways of Escape 85). His physical appearance reflects his strength, sharp
discipline, and principles: His gaiters were polished, and his pistol holster: his buttons were all sewn

could symbolize the Church, even if he has to use extremely violent methods.
Despite his toughness, Greene shows glimpses of the good inside the lieutenant throughout the novel.
The reader comes to see that he is really a good man when he gives the priest money before knowing
his truth, and even after he knows that he is a priest, the lieutenant s character develops and softens; as
he breaks the rules he has always been committed to and brings the priest a bottle of brandy and tries
to find someone to hear his confessions. These actions show the impact of the priest on his
