1939 by Jack Northrop. The company designed and built several planes during

Bletchley Park was a location set up by the British government dedicated entirely
to breaking enigma. However, they were extremely secretive about the work going
on within Bletchley Park and went to great security measures to ensure secrecy.
When the employees were done for the day, the guards would check to make sure

The Great Gatsby Response In the well known and classic novel, The Great Gatsby
written by F. Scott. Fitzgerald, narrator Nick Carraway describes his blossoming
friendship with Jay Gatsby. Nick is at first amazed with the richness of his
neighbor s life, and he comes to realize Gatsby s intentions to win back Daisy from
her husband when Gatsby and her fell in love five years ago. Fitzgerald uses
setting as a way to demonstrate a character s want and how people present different
versions of themselves to win someone over. After Nick is invited to Gatsby s party,

Although Fitzgerald provided intensely descriptive passages on his thoughts on
people or the scenery, more often than not he failed to describe events in that way. I
find the events which shape a person s life, or the burdens they carry and they
choose to let it change them interesting, and I would have liked to see more of it in
The Great Gatsby. This novel was mainly focused on the relationships between the
characters. In fact, the motivation for Tom to become violent, or for Gatsby to pick
a fight with Tom was for the sole purpose of love. I find that love shouldn t be the
solitary motivator in a story, for the only thing that can happen is that they end up
together or they don t. For it to be more interesting, the stakes would have to be
higher than getting the person they love. The ending reminds the reader, not so
gently, that loss can come rather unexpectedly, for Gatsby is murdered for
covering for the person he loved. Rather than being resolved like a classic fairytale,
the main character, who I d grown to like through the course of the book, is
murdered, and ended up with only three total people being at his funeral. This again
reminds the readers of loss, but in a way teaches the reader a lesson about how a
character like Gatsby can be generous and leave nothing to show

The one room cabins looked like hog pens afterward! They had destroyed the
furniture in the cabins and there were beer cans and whiskey bottles all over the
place. It was hard to see . On a lighter side, driving back to Ozark the next morning
with Sheriff Lamb, Ozark Police Chief Speaks heard a loud POP! A few minutes
later, he smelled something strange. You smell that Buff? No, what? Something
smells funny. Like maybe it s burning? Stop the car and let s look in the trunk! The
two opened the patrol car s trunk and discovered that a gas grenade had exploded.
Coughing, Buff picked up the grenade and threw it alongside the road. The two
coughed all the way back to Ozark. The Aftermath The following night, Buff did
not return to Rockaway and stayed in Ozark. Lawman Christopher Dugan (name
withheld) stated The Highway Patrol said they wouldn t come back if Buff was
there. Sheriff Lyman told everyone that he d take care of it. According to Dugan,
his methods of law enforcement were a little too severe. But if that meant he didn t
put up with any bull, they were 100% correct. The night after the riot, there were as
many lawmen as there were visitors in Rockaway. Nine businesses had been
destroyed and a dance hall roof, cars and a looted liquor store. A few people had
been hit with bird shot from a shotgun, but everyone survived. The city closed 3
taverns they blamed for the rioting and at least one boy was given a jail sentence for
escape from the Forsyth jail.

Public Outreach
Public outreach is a role that I ve become increasing involved in since our team
redeveloped our outreach tabling approach for public events and markets this past
year. At events like the Wednesday Night Market and West End Farmers Market, I
ve engaged with the public to spread Storm Water and Creeks information as it
pertains to the NPDES permit. I ve also continued to develop and supply outreach
materials for public access City office buildings and community centers, including
items like the new Creek Trails of Santa Rosa Map and Guide and the brochure Only
Rain down the Drain and Russian River Watershed Association s Urban Creek Care
Guide Responsible Practices for Russian River Watershed Residents.

The City s most active creek restoration site is Lower Colgan Creek Phase 1, which
Sean McNeil had taught me to care for by leading public events, monitoring
vegetation succession, and preforming on site watering and maintenance. During the
summer of 2017, I served as the lead for operating a water trailer and distributing
water to juvenile restoration plants at the Colgan Creek restoration reach. Since
learning about the native, ecological, and historic context of the Colgan Creek
restoration reach, I ve been able to share this knowledge with SAC, SCYEC, other
interns and co workers, and volunteers at every opportunity while cultivating the
Colgan Creek restoration area on a minimum of a weekly basis.
In addition to lightly monitoring several small scale completed restoration projects
across the City including Lornadell Creek at Galvin Park and Paulin Creek at
