Time after time I write technical blogs and articles that describe and summarise my experiences. Nowadays all the blogging sites and tools offer WYSIWYG editors. And it makes blogging so easy, right? Not for me! I always find WYSIWYG editing tedious and frustrating.
The Internet is growing at an incredible pace, and we want everybody to be a part of this growth. Basic HTML was created for the beginner to learn about designing web pages from the ground up and for the advanced web designers that want to revise a few HTML tricks. This downloadable tutorial is designed to help you learn about HTML and web page design.
An activity using student technology in the classroom. This assignment can theoretically make a student find more implicit information regarding a novel or part of a novel.
Whether you work alone or in a team, some sort of source control management is essential to you as a developer for things like keeping a history of your code, dealing with integrating code, managing releases and making your development workflow through different features painless. If you're coming from something like CVS or SVN, the open-source Git version control system will turn what you know of SCM on its head. In this presentation from AnDevCon 2011, EffectiveUI’s Tony Hillerson explains why Git is different, and what that difference means to you as an Android developer.

Unlike centralized version control systems, the distributed nature of Git allows you to be far more flexible in how developers collaborate on projects. In this session I'll take you through a quick tour of the essential git commands with some demos. We'll cover branching and merging strategies, pull requests ,working on open source (GitHub etc), git clients and git deployments to the cloud.
You have been wanting to use the "new shiny", but there are too many "Git how-tos" out there and you don't kow where to start. This is not another one of those. Instead Adam Culp will give a practical walk through the development cycle and how to use Git as the source control. From initialization of a repository, to forking, cloning, and checkout, we will walk through a sample project and how most developers actually use Git to manage the workflow. Adam will also touch on how to use Git repository hosting providers, and how to use them with PAAS (Platform as a service) providers.
This is introduction to Git, distributed version control system. You will learn about git history, reasons behind its invention, design considerations, internal structure and see how to use git for your projects.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

17. “So, in your search bar simply type “todo:false” and you’ll get
back all of the notes which have unchecked ToDo items.
Why This Is Better Than A ToDo “List”
While it challenges us to think about the ToDo list a little
differently, I’d argue it’s better because it puts our ToDo’s in
context (surrounded by the notes on that subject). And by
combining the todo: search parameter with other search
parameters, for example tag:tagname we can easily refine our
searches and see only what we want to currently focus on, again,
kept in context.
I’d recommend creating and saving searches that you use
frequently so that you can easily execute the search later without
having to type things in every time.”
