1. Projotno Bangladesh is the marketing and development wing of a women cooperative initiative by the
rural and urban slum dwellers.
The products are made by the rural women producers, the mothers of the children of primary schools
from poor families, we develop their skills and provide supports to produce these products by using
their indigenous knowledge and obtained skills, we promote its, the producers earn from it and pay for
the food, nutrition health and education for their children.
The theme what we believe and follow, is fashion for human development. There is an huge opportunity
to make involved the rural women in fashion industries through developing their indigenous knowledge
and life skill.They develop their skills here and learn to produce diversified hand made products which
are chemical free and echo-friendly too.

The event on "Rana plaza"
The tragic building collapse on April 24, 2013, resulting in the loss of lives of over 1100 apparel workers,
who used to work in different factories housed in the building.
About 400 workers are still missing and the thousands of survivors of one of the worst industrial
(garment & fashion) disasters in the world are leading miserable lives.
And Kaykobad, an NGO worker, took part in the rescue mission (it was a social movement to save the
victims), and he was brave enough to take high risk to go in to the collapsed building the rescued so
many people and pulled them out. At last he took the highest risk to bring out one, but he brought an
example for us to make things meaningful for the humanity, he is our bravest martyr.
We announced an event to make remember this through saluting all the martyrs of Rana Plaza, and
Kaykobad indeed. It's a yearlong event to raise general awareness on the rights of the workers (we call
producer), The stakeholders should know it and should play role to uphold the rights of the producers.
It started on 24th of April, all the countries involved will arrange campaign for it to make more
involvement and set a time table for saluting, this the awareness will be raised throughout the year, and
the involvement of the peoples also be raised. The final show, the fashion parade, saluting will be held
on 24th of April 2015 at Rana Plaza and so many places in the world to attract the large proportion ,
including the end users, buyers, suppliers, designers, show makers, manufacturer and the producers.
The main event will be held in 2015, at Rana Plaza, Savar, Bangladesh, and so many places around the
world as many as many as possible.
