12x1=? If you would take a bunch of counters and you
count out 12 counters and put them into 1 group how
many would be in that group there would be 12 and
that’s the answer.
12x2=? You have 12 counters and you add 12 more
counters how many would you have you would have
24 and that’s the answer to 12x2.
12x3=? If you have 24 counters and you add 10 you
have 34 then add 2 more and you will have 36 and
that’s your answer.
12x4=?now you have 36 counters you can use addition
so you add 12 to 36 and you get 48 and that’s what
you would get for the question to 12x4.
12x5=? When you have 48 counters close your eyes
and pick out 12 more counters and add them by 2
and you will get 60.
12x6=? If you have 60 counters and you add 12 you
would get 72 and that’s the answer.

12x7=? S If there is 72 girls at the beach then 12 more girls
came to the beach how many girls would there be? There
would be 84 so the answer is 84.
12x8=? If 84 girl meet up at Wal-Mart and 12 more girls
found out they could meet up to. so then they met up with
them and there are now 96 girls and 96 is your answer.
12x9=? There were 96 girls at a party 12 girls were late.
When they got to the party there were 108 girls so the
answer would be 108.
12x10=?there were 108 girls at a camp 12 came the next
day so then there was 120 girls and that’s the answer.
12x11=? 120 girls went to a show and 12 were stuck in
traffic so they were late when they finally got there were
132 girls so 132 is you answer.
12x12=? There were 132 girl at a hair salon and there were
12 workers so there were 144 girls in the hair salon . so
144 is the answer.

First you find a bunch of flash cards
Draw two clouds on each flash card
Then draw a 12 times table in each cloud with
out the answer on the back
Then hide them around the room
When you find a card you will bring it up to the
one who hid the cards and give them the card
and you have to answer it
The person that finds a card will have to write
the answer on the back when she/he knows the
answer is right they get a point
And who ever has the most points wins

6. If someone comes up and asks you “what are
12 times tables?” you would say
“put 12 counters in one group. How many all
together?” 12 would be the answer
For 12 x 2, you put 12 counters in each of two
groups and then add them together. 12 + 12 =
24
And that’s how it is for the rest of the times
tables.
