2. Who would be the audience for
your media product?
I asked a number of friends and family about our opening sequence. They all
really liked the camera movements and the dark lighting we brought in. There
liked the costumes and mostly the end scene. All of the people I asked wanted
to see the rest of the film and all f them really appreciate that our opening scene
is on YouTube so that they can watch it again and again. The most of the
people I asked would buy this film to see how it would end. From the 10 people
I asked, all of them were amazed by the idea of the kidnapping scene. 8 of
them would like to see the whole film to see what happens next. 6 really liked
the parallel editing and the change in the locations! They said that it was really
tension building. 2 of them didn’t really like the music, they said that it is okay
but they would chose a bit more dramatic music to support the kidnapping
scene.
All of the people said that the film appeal to them and actually would pay money
to see the film. Most of my friends are my age and therefore they are really
interested and identified with the actors.
All opinions of the people I asked are very close and my audience is not that
fragmented. All questions I asked and answers I got are really close together.
There are small deviations but however I only asked a small group of my
audience and not a wide spectrum.
As a result our target audiences are more teenagers and young people.
