1. Who would be the audience for
your media product?
2. The audience for my radio show would be of an older age such as retirement age sixty five years plus
and/or old age pensioners OAPs. The audience would fall under the esteem category in the uses and
gratifications theory as the audience of older people would like to be mindful and respectful of others
and events involving others therefore they would be interested in news based around the events of
other people. The psychographic profile for the audience would be mainstreamers as they are
domestic and tend to be conformist.
