How did you use new media
technologies in the construction,
research and planning and evaluation
stages?
2. In order to produce a professional looking
teaser trailer, film poster and film magazine
front cover certain products had to be
bought. This included many technical
products which are shown in the following
slides:
3. Camera
I used two cameras in the process of
creating my promotional products
- A video camera (Canon) for filming the
teaser trailer scenes
- A picture camera (Sony CyberShot) for
taking photos for the film poster and film
magazine front cover
4. Other Equipment
Some of the other equipment we used
was the following:
- LED light
- Reflector
- Microphone
- Boom pole
- Dead Cat for the microphone (to prevent
wind)
6. Editing
For editing the film poster and film magazine
front cover I used Adobe Photoshop. I found
this to be a very good program to use as
although it is complicated at first, once
understood, the end result looks much more
professional due to all the filters and
different tools that are available to use.

For editing the teaser trailer I used Adobe
Premiere Pro, I knew this program was
going to be good as it is one professional
film makers use. This program was also
very complicated but after watching many
tutorials it became easier to use and when
seeing my end product, I realised that I was
very pleased with it and it would not have
been how it was without Adobe Premiere
Pro.

10. Having the availability to all these technical
products has meant that I have been very
proud of my end results of my promotional
products.
I also used technology in the evaluation
stages by being interviewed about my
promotional products for 10 minutes by my
media teacher. This was effective as I was
able to elaborate about my products as
much as I wanted to. This clip is placed on
blog also.
