My typical reader listens to a range of R&B artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, and Beyoncé, as well as pop and dance/dubstep music. They dress in an urban style inspired by celebrities, wearing items like beanies, chains, and trainers. They shop at stores like JD, Size, Foot Locker, Topman, River Island, and Topshop to buy clothes from brands worn by their idols. In their spare time, they enjoy going to music concerts and festivals to keep up with trends in fashion, music and celebrity gossip.

They would also listen to other
general genres of music for
example they would enjoy
listening to some pop music
and also some dance/dubstep
music as well.
What type of clothes do they wear?
The females may vary. Some of the
females will enjoy wearing beanie
hat’s and very loose sporty and urban
type clothing. They would like
wearing the latest trainers especially
if made by someone they idolise for
example Kanye West makes shoes
with nike. They would also enjoy
wearing lots of jewellery mainly
chains. Other girls may wear very
fashionable items and follow the
latest trends that season so for
example whatever lots of high street
shops are starting to bring a lot in of,
however they will still have traits of
dressing slightly urban and will own
lots of trainers as well as boots and
heels. The boys would dress similar to
the first girls they would be inspired
by clothes that they see style icons
like jay z or kanye west wearing so
for example lots of leather, black&
dark clothing also high top shops,
they would also look out for celebs
own brands- They would also be
more daring then regular lads and
wear things like beanies, snapbacks
and possibly even skirts. Also lots of
chains and metal would be involved
in their outfits.
Where would they shop?
They would shop in a range of
places. They would visit shops
such as JD, Size& foot Locker for
their footwear which would usually
be trainers (all though for the
female audience members this
doesn’t mean they don’t also
enjoy wearing boots/heels as the
celebrities portrayed in my
magazine like these girls have a
few different sides to them and
enjoy wearing different styles of
clothing from ‘street’ to ‘sexy’. The
boys may shop in shops such as
topman or JD but they many also
shop in more vintage or more
expensive shops such as Versace.
Whereas the girls are more likely
to shop in shops such as River
Island, Topshop, Miss selfridge
very high end fashion shops but
also some more expensive shops
such as chanel as these are all
brands wore often by their idols.
What do they do in their spare
time?
They enjoy spending their
time going to music concerts.
Also because they do enjoy
other genre’s as well they
enjoy going to music festivals
with their friends which cover
a variety of different music.
They also enjoy keeping up
with the latest trends whether
that be in fashion or with
gossip and celeb news.

them?
Their friends and family would

and outgoing and extremely full
of live. They would be very
active and enjoy taking parts in
sports and they would also be
seen as competitive and they
don’t like to lose. They will also
be seen as quite aggressive and
confrontational if they feel like
they’re being pushed. However
they are also seen as very funny
and ‘cheeky’.

like football as they
enjoy playing it. They
