- 1. Evaluation Question 3 What have you learned from your audience feedback?
- 2. What’s changed From my audience feedback I feel I learnt a lot more than from my AS product because with my A2 main product I had a lot more questionnaires, help from feedback in a video about the film and my chosen focus group too. I have learnt that they enjoyed the film and I’ve also had opinions about certain scenes and the editing at the end of my film. I was told by someone who came in that my credits were too long and that the wait for the scene at the end may have been missed by a lot of people if they were to watch it in the cinema which I agree with too, also that the certain scene links into the Action genre well but should be ahead of the credits etc. I also feel that the feedback this year has been a lot more helpful than it was back in my AS product. For example my focus group had good opinions which helped to improve things in the ancillary tasks and my main product the short fan-film.
- 3. “The Good” and “The Bad” The feedback I got also helped me to think more clearly about my props e.g. the AK-47 prop was bright orange, in which I tried covering up with green screen (orange screen even) effects but no-one really seemed that bothered about it. However it was suggested that I should have spray painted the AK-47 prop grey so it looked more realistic because people came to me and said that the Assassin’s Creed props such as the Tomahawk and hidden blade worked really well, but the AK-47 ruined the effect of the realistic approach according to the audience. I was also told a few times from my audience and focus group that the Mise-en-scene in the woods and a few other scenes were perfect, but some also said they didn’t understand the Mise-en-scene on the shot with the characters end table should have been re-shot because of the things laid out on it, but there are reasons I had it like that and so explained on my blog.
