2. Introduction
 For our work we had to make a short film using the techniques we were
taught by watching couple episodes of ‘prison break’ and ‘making
murderer’. We had to watch these to learn all the different camera shots
and techniques used in the show, so we can use this as inspiration.

3. How helpful was your analysis research
on your chosen theme?
 The analysis research on my chosen theme was beneficial to me and my
group on how we could work out things to use in our short film. In my
opinion, if it wasn’t for the analysis research, we would have not known on
what to do as our short film was comedy.

4. How helpful/ successful was the pre-
production process?
 The pre-production process was a little bit iffy at first as we were all
assigned different tasks to do but there was one person who was
procrastinating in the group and finished the task on the day of
production.

5. How successful was your production
(filming)?
 The production went bad at first as the main character decided to drop out
and was hard finding a replacement but we eventually found one on the
same day as production day but did little work as we couldn’t access some
places so we could film for a certain scene

6. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of you’re a-b story making
reference to the codes and conventions of other factual
programmes you have seen?
 Our strengths was that we used the techniques that we were taught and
we followed our storyboard that we made.
 Our weaknesses was that the camera man didn’t want to use the tripod in
the cafeteria scene so it was a bit shaky from the start.

7. Audience feedback
 Person 1 said that we had chosen a “good selection of music”
 Person 2 said that the “editing needs improvement”
 Person 2 also said “the ending was very funny”
 The audience all agreed that the short film could’ve been longer

8. What improvements could you have
made?
 In my opinion I think the short film could’ve had more comedic actions, as
there was any barely to begin with. I also thin the camera movements
could’ve been better when it came to the canteen scène as the camera
man was a bit trigger happy when it came to the camera
