The production company logo was chosen to fit the comedy genre of their film. The logo features red, swans, and seagulls to convey love, energy, and positivity to viewers. The production company is called SEA PRODUCTIONS, representing the initials of the founders, Sanam, Emily, and Arne. 20th Century Fox was selected as the film distributor because they have successfully distributed similar comedy films and release movies worldwide for greater success. Funding would ideally come from the National Lottery UK Film Council, as they support filmmakers facing financial issues. The opening titles were presented in white text for sufficient viewing time to credit those involved in making the film.
The document discusses the media products created for the film "The Elusive" and how they used and challenged conventions of real horror media. The horror trailer followed conventions like using frightening music and imagery to invoke fear in the audience. The trailer structure was based on Freytag's pyramid. The poster design included common horror elements like a mysterious image, red font for the title, and tagline but challenged conventions by not revealing much of the plot. Music and magazine cover design also drew from horror conventions to attract the target audience of late teens to early twenties.

Our media products for 'The Elusive' used and developed conventions of real horror media products. The trailer followed typical horror trailer conventions like building tension and climax. It also drew on techniques like Freytag's triangle. The titling and fonts matched horror film conventions. While adhering to conventions for layout, the mysterious poster image challenged expectations. The magazine cover also used horror-related conventions like red coloring but challenged the norm of overlapping text and images. Elements like character fashion helped target audiences relate to the products.
The document compares a big budget film, Avengers Assemble, produced by Marvel Studios, to a small budget film, Saw, produced by Twisted Pictures. Avengers Assemble had a budget of $220 million and grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide, while Saw had a tiny budget of $1.2 million but was still very profitable. Though Twisted Pictures is much smaller and less well-known than Marvel Studios, both companies have found success producing films within specific genres - Twisted Pictures with horror and Marvel Studios with superhero films.
This document discusses major film institutions from around the world including the US, UK, France, Germany, India, Spain, and Australia. It provides examples of major production companies from each country/region and notes they each produce different genres of films and television shows. The success of a film depends on factors like the involved actors, director, and production company. Film awards are also discussed as a way for films and their creators to be recognized.
A production company makes films and television programs. For example, Aardman Animations produced the Wallace and Gromit series. A distributor is responsible for releasing the film for public viewing on a set date. For a low budget, independent film like the one described, funding would likely come from the national lottery as larger distributors may not recognize it. Film credits typically include actors, editors, producers, and directors while distributors are only listed once a film is released on DVD. The described film is similar to the low budget, independently produced British comedy horror Sightseers.
This document discusses factors that contribute to the success of superhero films at the box office. It analyzes several highly successful superhero movies like The Dark Knight, Spiderman, and Iron Man. These films attracted wide audiences through appealing characters, large budgets for marketing, and targeting both male and female demographics. A production company is responsible for the actual production of a film, including funding, distribution to film studios and cinemas, and promoting the film. A distributor is responsible for releasing films to the public through theatrical screenings or home video formats like DVD. Paramount has its own distribution arm, making it a simpler option. The authors felt Paramount had a wide variety of genres it distributed and their psychological thriller would fit with films like Shutter Island the studio had previously distributed.
Lionsgate and Universal would be good production and distribution companies for our thriller film because they have a history of producing and distributing successful thriller films with wide target audiences. Streaming services like Netflix and Amazon would also be interested in our film because they have large customer bases that include the target age groups for thrillers, and exclusive streaming deals could generate profits for both our film and the streaming service.
The document discusses a fictional low-budget film production company called TMC that is making a horror film on a budget of £1 million. It discusses how successful horror films like The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity were made on tiny budgets in the tens of thousands yet became hugely profitable franchises. These examples inspired the company to pursue a low-budget model. The company will use unknown actors and distribution by UK company Film 4 Productions, which has experience with both low and medium-budget films.

As an independent company, they have a limited budget from their own funds and may use crowd-funding sites. They will distribute their film online through sites like YouTube and Facebook since they are independent. Their film is similar to Psycho and Hide & Seek in that the antagonist has a split personality, most closely resembling Hide & Seek where the protagonist is also the antagonist.

Stalio Productions was the name created by the group to embody a production company like BBC Films. They made idents using motion for their first production. Focus Features' experience with comparable films makes them a good fit to handle the distribution needs of "Hunting Innocence".
Our film would be distributed by an independent British film company called 'Hot Ice Productions' that relies on slow releases of their low-budget films. As an independent film with a small budget and short filming period, we want our film to be released slowly through word-of-mouth like Slumdog Millionaire. Lower budget independent films are sometimes financed by producers and directors with other investors. The title sequence for our film follows conventions by first showing the production company name, then the film title, followed by actor and crew names, ending with the director.

Our production company, Grave Productions, focuses on thriller/horror films. It aims to help independent filmmakers get their work noticed. As an independent British production company, it received funding from the film council to produce its film opening. The opening credits featured individual credits for the British cast and crew in traditional order, with the director's name last. Similar independent films like "Amy" had limited releases in art houses and independent cinemas before expanding. For distribution, the production company chose Sigma Films in Scotland due to its success with the similar genre film "Citadel" and support for small producers through events like Film City Glasgow.

A film production company would develop, produce, and finance a horror film. They are responsible for pre-production tasks like marketing, scripting, and casting, as well as the health and safety of actors. Dimension Films would be chosen to distribute the film because of their experience distributing notable horror films like Scream. They would effectively promote and advertise the film to attract a large audience. Funding would be sought from the National Lottery UK Film Council, which invests lottery funds each year to support struggling UK filmmakers who cannot afford production budgets.
Our film distribution company would be an independent film distributor that specializes in thriller films like our own. Independent distributors like Artificial Eye, Avatar Films, or Canada's Cfmdc would be suitable as they focus on critically acclaimed films outside the major studio system. We would likely finance our film through the British Film Institute as they have shown interest in our thriller storyline and believe it could appeal to a wide audience.

Our production company is called Twisted Inc. and our logo features barbed wire to symbolize potential danger relating to the villain in our thriller. A production company is responsible for funding, casting, and hiring for the pre-production phase. They oversee the creation of the film including budgeting, marketing, music, and script development. A distributor is in charge of film marketing through advertising, trailers, and deciding print quantities. For our low-budget thriller, funding would come from personal savings and friends due to lack of bank loans or grants. We included title credits at the beginning for our group, then introduced actors and the camera operator to distinguish characters while showing neutrality. Our film is similar to "Strangers"
The document provides information about researching 3 British film companies for a task. It discusses Warp Films, including their logo and a title sequence analysis of the film "Bunny and the Bull". It then discusses Vertigo Films, including their logo and a title sequence analysis of the film "Pusher". This document discusses film distribution and potential options for distributing a low-budget drama film about an abusive relationship. It provides examples of major film distribution companies and explains that while companies like Columbia Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox have distributed similar drama films in the past, they may not be interested in a low-budget film. As a result, the document suggests exploring smaller distributors and alternative distribution strategies like film festivals and self-distribution on DVD.
The document discusses different aspects of film production and distribution for an independent horror film. It describes how a production company would help create the film from initial idea through completion. It also discusses choosing the distribution company Momentum Pictures, which focuses on horror films and has distributed successful titles in the genre. The film will be funded by the BFI, which supports emerging UK filmmakers. Titles and influences from other horror films like Orphan and House of Wax are discussed.
The document discusses the reasons for choosing a production company logo featuring an arrow. The arrow can represent different meanings like the future, determination, or heartbreak. The blue color could symbolize coldness or different seas. The twisty, curly writing style of the logo depicts the twists and turns in relationships often found in drama films, which is the company's genre.
Universal Pictures would be a good media institution to distribute our gangster thriller film "God of the Hill" for several reasons:
1) Universal has a history of producing and releasing gangster films of similar genres.
2) They provided financial support and assistance in producing our film.
3) Their global reach and reputation would help market our film worldwide.
This document discusses film production and distribution. It explains that a production company is responsible for organizing and distributing a film, handling the director and cast. The distributor markets and promotes the film by making copies and showing it to cinema owners to influence its success. Possible distributors for the student's production mentioned are Film4 and Lionsgate as they handle smaller, UK-based films. Their websites provide information on the films they have distributed.
The student analyzed potential media institutions to distribute their post-apocalyptic film. Major studios like Warner Bros and Lionsgate were deemed unsuitable due to the film's low budget and lack of famous actors. Independent British film companies like DNA Films and Palace Pictures would be more interested since they distribute similar genre films set in Britain. The student also proposed advertising the film at small UK film festivals focused on new British directors, such as the British Independent Film Festival, rather than large cinema chains that prioritize blockbuster films.
A production company handles fundraising, supplies, resources, distribution, budgeting, scheduling, scripting, post-production, and marketing for a production. They oversee most aspects of bringing a film to completion. A distributor is responsible for marketing, setting a release date, and determining how a film can be viewed. The document recommends partnering with SodaPictures as a distributor since they have experience supporting low-budget British films similar in genre. It also suggests applying to the British Film Institute for lottery funding to finance marketing.
A production company is responsible for creating the film through budgeting, casting, hiring a director and crew, and would be responsible for any accidents on set. The group created "Lighthouse Productions" to guide audiences to good films. They designed an ident with lights moving like a lighthouse and their name flowing in. A distributor gets the film into cinemas by deciding showtimes and promoting it. They chose Revolver Entertainment as they specialize in low budget films. They would fund the film through a BFI grant for low budget films to help budget it easily.
A production company is responsible for developing, producing, and distributing new media projects like films, television programs, and more. They oversee all aspects of a project from its conception through completion. For a small student production company like SSL Production, funding for projects comes from sources like grants and profits from previous films. Small independent companies have a harder time distributing and marketing their films widely compared to large established studios. However, a company like Optimum Releasing that distributes similar small, British productions could help a student film like SSL Production's "The Night Before" reach a wider audience.
A PowerPoint explaining what a record label is, the difference between major and independent labels and an example of a record label my artist would sign on to.
The document outlines the proposed costumes for three characters - a detective who is also the serial killer, the detective's partner, and a victim - in the opening of a mystery/thriller film. The detective will wear stereotypical detective clothes like a long coat and fedora to clearly identify him as a detective. The serial killer will only need trainers shown to depict walking away from the crime scene. In contrast, the partner will have a more casual look through a bow tie, glasses, and jeans to hint that the main detective is actually the killer. The randomly dressed victim in casual clothes is meant to suggest the killer targets with no clear motive.
The document traces the history of the mystery/thriller genre in film from the 1940s to 2000s. It provides examples from each decade such as Dressed to Kill (1941) and The Big Clock (1948) in the 1940s, Vertigo (1958) and Psycho (1960) in the 1950s-1960s, The Attic (1980) and Seven (1995) in the 1980s-1990s, and The Bourne Identity (2002) and Sherlock Holmes (2009) in the 2000s. It notes that mystery/thriller films have changed over time with more realistic effects now possible and more intriguing plots due to developments in technology, ideas, and actors.
The document discusses various micro elements of film including shots (extreme close up, close up, medium shot, long shot, extreme long shot), camera movements (track, pan, tilt, zoom, cut), pace, performance, diegetic and non-diegetic sound, and mise en scene. It provides examples from the opening of the film Mad Max: Fury Road to illustrate these elements, such as a close up showing Max's face, an extreme long shot displaying the desolate landscape, and diegetic sounds of vehicles driving through the desert.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

2. Why have you chosen your production company logo?
I have chosen the logo because the red moon is a supernatural occurrence which
gives off almost a thriller type image. The magnifying glass represents crime and
mystery so fits in with my genre of mystery/thriller.
To ensure that my production company focuses on
mystery/thriller rather than just thriller, we’ve added
a fingerprint in the lens of the magnifying glass,
which is linked to crimes and thus linked to
mysteries.
3. What is a production company? What do
they do?
A production company is a company which work on developing the production of
new films, tv programmes etc. They also take part in the funding of the project,
marketing, scripting and scheduling.
4. What is the job of a film distributor?
Film distributors are responsible for marketing, funding, scheduling etc.
They also set the release dates for films and their age ratings (both cinema viewing,
trailers and dvd releases) and can be either an individual or a company.
5. Which film distributor would you choose
for your film and why? What other films
have they distributed that are similar to
yours?I’d probably choose either Paramount Pictures or Columbia Pictures because they
both distribute films in the UK and have helped distribute some mystery/thrillers or
simply just mysteries and/or thrillers.
Paramount Pictures have distributed ‘Shutter Island’ ‘Zodiac’
Columbia Pictures have distributed ‘The Bone Collector’
6. How would your film be funded?
My film will be funded by the National Lottery UK Film Council because they’ve
helped to fund other films created in the UK. They’ve been helping to develop and
promote the film industry in the UK, and support film makers capable of creating
entertaining work.
Choosing to fund my film using the National Lottery UK Film Council would allow us
to distribute our film in the UK.
7. Titles - Why do you need them? How have
you presented them?
Titles are needed in film openings so then the people that were involved in creating
the opening are acknowledged and not ignored.
The titles in the film opening were presented by fading in and out, but not all at once.
Each letter would fade in (and out) at different times until they’re all present and the
title could be read. The titles are both white and grey so they’re visible. The main
titles (e.g. ‘Producers’) are white and larger than the title that comes after, stating
the names of the people who took that role. The names are written in grey so they
can easily be seen as a separate title.
The fonts of both titles are very simple but match the theme and can be read very
easily.
