2. Front cover My front cover is for RK magazine , I used adobe photoshop to create the magazine, this can be seen in the making of my products. It features a model holding an electric guitar as the main picture, centre frame, this gives the instant image of a rock magazine due to the outfit and props, overall I am proud of the front cover as it displays great technical ability, if i were to make on again i would love to do a band shoot with more than one model.

3. Contents Page The contents page follows the same theme as the front cover but i try to keep it simple so the contents is easily seen. It features a shot of a guitar riff centre frame and sell line to get readers to subscribe. The contents page was very successful in my opinion as it got the message it intended across very well and stayed to the magazine theme.

4. Double page spread The double page spread is on the cover artist, The FOO, it features a photograph of the artist and an interview with him. The double page spread follows the theme of the magazine as well. My favourite part of the spread is the photography, as think the picture is great at capturing the audiences attention.

6. How does your music magazine represent different social groups? My magazine mainly represents a youth rock scene with acts such as a young rock artist however on the front cover. There is a list of all the artists covered in the magazine, this would widen the appeal as it could cover a wider genre of people. If I were to give it a wider appeal it may loose the intended target audience and be a general non-specific music magazine

7. How did you attract/address the audience To attract the audience I used bright bold pictures with smart editing such as the front cover, I took a bold picture of a model holding a guitar and then in Photoshop I used an effect called outer/inner glow, this made it stand out. To address readers I used interesting fonts and on my double page spread I used a 'mock interview' type technique with a question and answer format. I tried to keep all fonts fairly large, interesting and simple; this would make it appealing for the audience to read and take in the information.

What have I learnt in progression from the preliminary In the process of the task my Photoshop and general computing skills have developed greatly and i am now confident i could edit an image in a way that would be use to me. My time keeping skills was drawn to attention and we tried to fix the lack of organization Overall i am pleased with my development as the finished products look professional.

9. What kind of media institution might distribute my music magazine and why? The kind of Media institution that would distribute my magazine is the kind like IPC media or The Bauer media group as they distribute similar concepts such as the magazine Kerrang! IPC could need a competitor to Bauer's Kerrang! And therefor could distribute RKMagazine. The concept of a rock magazine does not have enough wide popularity to stand on it's own as an independent magazine which is why it would join a conglomerate, say IPC media distribute RKMagazine and because IPC media is part of Time Inc. and Time inc. is part of the conglomerate Time Warner there would be enough connections for the magazine to make it into television and even get it's own show.

10. Who would be the audience for my magazine? My magazine is directed at a youth rock scene. This can be told by the young rock artists and up to date tracks. The audience could then be some one who likes the genre of rock music, regardless of age, or a person in there youth who listens to music as often rock songs make it into the charts so if the music is up to date rock anyone into current music could be interested.

11. What have I learnt about technologies in the constructing process? As well as Photoshop skills I have learnt the usage of online documenting such a Blogger and Slideshare. I have also seen the problem of transferring data between two different operating systems, Mac O.S and Windows 7, this will be useful in the future.
