6. I used the word ‘tunes’ to talk about the songs. This word is used a lot on this type of genre. The other word I used was ‘swagge it’ which means like go and enjoy. I used the word ‘big bash’ meaning an extravaganza party or wedding. This type of words which people don’t know what they mean are used in this type of genre which only people influenced by the hip hop/street genre understand the meaning of this words and use of language.

9. The character on the front cover and double spread is a male because it not just attracts females and those who like the rapper on the cover and the story behind them but also because there is more male rappers and always have something hidden or special which makes them attract the readers attention, even if males as they get influenced by them. The audience of this magazine are most males than females even though there is not that much of a difference. For the contents page, the character is a female to not only represent females but also because it attracts the males attention of the female model.

11. I have researched the institution for the hip hop magazines but they isn’t a clear understanding to which institution distributes this magazines as they are all American based print.

13. The gender my magazine is mostly based on are more males than females even though there isn’t that much of a different. The reason for this is because a high number of males get influenced by the rapper and try follow their steps to be who they are. However females also get influenced not only by male rappers but females who’s becomes someone from being no one to start with.

15. The other way which I attracted my audience was they way the I took the photographs, specially the photograph on the front cover which attracts the audience with the characters pose of praying.

17. I also used the word ‘swagge’ which it sometimes said ‘swagger’ meaning when wearing clothes all the same colour or nearly all of the same colour but on this context it tries say that is your change at the concert to come all well dressed, with a ‘swagger’. The fans know and understand the meaning of that word as they are involved in the culture of hip hop/street. This is a word that no one that is not influenced by this genre wouldn’t know what it means and wouldn’t of heard before.
27. I have never used a blog before, and using one this time for my coursework was helpful and not hard to use as it helped me organize my work which I was able to know what I have done. Also I was able to get feed back which was really helpful not only from the tutor but from students.
28. Without this technologies it would have been a bit difficult creating my product as I need different tools on Photoshop to make it look professional.

30. As well, I have learned the type of photography required based on the genre as it needs to give a clear understanding of what type of magazine it is without having to read it.
