This document evaluates a student's music magazine project. The student aimed to create a magazine that would appeal to a young audience interested in chart music. They used conventions from real music magazines, such as Q Magazine, to guide the layout and design. Key lessons from the project included learning photography and editing skills in Photoshop, as well as refining the overall presentation from their preliminary work. The student concluded the magazine successfully represented its target demographic and could be distributed by a major publisher like IPC.

ABSTRACT: Although a significant amount of literature exists on Morocco's migration policies and their
successes and failures since their implementation in 2014, there is limited research on the integration of subSaharan African children into schools. This paperis part of a Ph.D. research project that aims to fill this gap. It
reports the main findings of a study conducted with migrant children enrolled in two public schools in Rabat,
Morocco, exploring how integration is defined by the children themselves and identifying the obstacles that they
have encountered thus far. The following paper uses an inductive approach and primarily focuses on the
relationships of children with their teachers and peers as a key aspect of integration for students with a migration
background. The study has led to several crucial findings. It emphasizes the significance of speaking Colloquial
Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and being part of a community for effective integration. Moreover, it reveals that the
use of Modern Standard Arabic as the language of instruction in schools is a source of frustration for students,
indicating the need for language policy reform. The study underlines the importanceof considering the
children‟s agency when being integrated into mainstream public schools.

ABSTRACT: This research aims to examine how ESG disclosure and risk disclosure affect the total risk of
companies. Using cross section data from 355 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, data regarding
ESG disclosure and risk was collected. In this research, ESG and risk disclosures are measured based on content
analysis using GRI 4 guidelines for ESG disclosures and COSO ERM for risk disclosures. Using multiple
regression, it is concluded that only risk disclosure can reduce the company's total risk, while ESG disclosure
cannot affect the company's total risk. This shows that only risk disclosure is relevant in determining a
company's total risk.

Exploring Factors Affecting the Success of TVET-Industry Partnership: A Case ...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to explore factors affecting the success of TVET-industry
partnerships. A case study design of the qualitative research method was used to achieve this objective. For the
study, one polytechnic college of Oromia regional state, and two industries were purposively selected. From the
sample polytechnic college and industries, a total of 17 sample respondents were selected. Out of 17
respondents, 10 respondents were selected using the snowball sampling method, and the rest 7 respondents were
selected using the purposive sampling technique. The qualitative data were collected through an in-depth
interview and document analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic approaches. The findings revealed that
TVET-industry partnerships were found weak. Lack of key stakeholder‟s awareness shortage of improved
training equipment and machines in polytechnic colleges, absence of trainee health insurance policy, lack of
incentive mechanisms for private industries, lack of employer industries involvement in designing and
developing occupational standards, and preparation of curriculum were some of the impediments of TVETindustry partnership. Based on the findings it was recommended that the Oromia TVET bureau in collaboration
with other relevant concerned regional authorities and TVET colleges, set new strategies for creating strong
awareness for industries, companies, and other relevant stakeholders on the purpose and advantages of
implementing successful TVET-industry partnership. Finally, the Oromia regional government in collaboration
with the TVET bureau needs to create policy-supported incentive strategies such as giving occasional privileges
of duty-free import, tax reduction, and regional government recognition awards based on the level of partnership
contribution to TVET institutions in promoting TVET-industry partnership.

The Challenges of Good Governance and Project Implementation in Nigeria: A Re...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT : This study reveals that systemic corruption and other factors including poor leadership,
leadership recruitment processes, ethnic and regional politics, tribalism and mediocrity, poor planning, and
variation of project design have been the causative factors that undermine projects implementation in postindependence African states, particularly in Nigeria. The study, thus, argued that successive governments of
African states, using Nigeria as a case study, have been deeply engrossed in this obnoxious practice that has
undermined infrastructure sector development as well as enthroned impoverishment and mass poverty in these
African countries. This study, therefore, is posed to examine the similarities in causative factors, effects and
consequences of corruption and how it affects governance, projects implementation and national growth. To
achieve this, the study adopted historical research design which is qualitative and explorative in nature. The
study among others suggests that the governments of developing countries should shun corruption and other
forms of obnoxious practices in order to operate effective and efficient systems that promote good governance
and ensure there is adequate projects implementation which are the attributes of a responsible government and
good leadership. Policy makers should also prioritize policy objectives and competence to ensure that policies
are fully implemented within stipulated time frame.

2. 1. In what ways does you media product use,
develop or challenge forms and conventions of real
media products?
Uses: My media product uses conventions of real media products as this
helps it to look professional and have an order to prevent it from looking
messy. The masthead is at the top of the front page like a traditional
magazine and is also in a bold easy to read font. The picture that is on
the front is also traditional as it is a mid- shot.
Develop: When I was making my magazine, I followed traditional things
which are normally seen in a magazine as I knew that it clearly worked
best. The masthead name “Replay” suggest to the audience that the
contents is a replay of the hits of that month going back and looking
over them. The layout of my contents page was similar to the one of “Q”
magazine as it thought it was a simple and organised way to present it.
Challenge: I chose my magazine to appeal to anyone who is interested in
music which is in the charts which means it is typically a young
audience, this challenges magazines like billboard and “Q”.
The image above
shows the
contents page that
I used to base
mine on.
3. 2.How does your media product represent
particular social groups?
My magazine represents a particular
social group as it shows the music
which is in the charts and this is
normally liked by younger generations,
this is shown in the magazine as the
fonts and sizes are simple and easy to
read but also don’t look to childish,
The colour scheme is also 3 simple
colours which gives an overall “cool”
and “relaxed” feel to it which helps to
attract the audience.
4. 3.What kind of media institution might
distribute your media product and why?
Publishing : IPC is a well-known publisher for
magazines and around 26million adults are thought
to read there magazines in the UK alone. I would use
this publisher as it would have a range of
advertisement and do well at selling. This would also
help to get more people buying into it as well. The
fact that they publish big names like NME, Now,
country life, shows that they are a very successful
brand which means that my magazine would be likely
to become successful.
5. 4.Who would be the audience for your media
product? Enjoys music in the
charts
Audience Enjoys hearing about
new artists
Play and simple fonts
and easy to read articles
Giveaways, latest
fashion, quizzes
My audience was anyone interested in the charts. This shows what my audience enjoys and
what they wanted to see in the magazine, My magazine covers all of these factors which
means that it is suitable for them and meets the needs of the target market.
6. 5.How did you attract/ address your audience?
I attracted and address my
audience by using colours and
pictures that they would be
interested in, for example using
colour schemes which are plain
and simple which work together
well. The pictures were of young
people who hadn’t been seen
before which meant that they
were interested right from the
start.
7. 6.What have you learnt about technologies
from the process of constructing this product?
From this I have learnt how to
use a camera to get good shots
with angles that work best in
magazines. I have also learnt
how to use Photoshop to make
the pictures the best they can
be and more suitable for the
page it is going to be used for.
8. 7.Looking back at your preliminary task, what do
you feel you have learnt in the progression from it
to the full product?
From the preliminary task there is a
difference in the skills that I have used
to create it, for example the picture
which was used in my preliminary task
wasn’t taken in a studio and the
lighting was not very good. The fonts
and colour schemes were also better
which meant that it looked well
presented, the layout was also more
thought through.
