The Europeana Space Opening Conference held in Venice on October 16, 2014, presented the EuropeanATV pilot showcasing local and broadcast scenarios that focus on re-living significant historical events through interactive television. A hackathon is planned for April 2015 in the Netherlands to explore monetization options and integration with Europeana's API. The initiative aims to facilitate the creative reuse of audiovisual content and connect various stakeholders in the media and entertainment industry.
