The Europeana Creative project aims to promote the reuse of digitized cultural heritage content. It will develop the Europeana Labs platform and technical infrastructure to provide open access to content. The project will run pilot programs in five themes - history education, natural history education, social networks, and tourism. It will hold challenge events to identify and support viable business ideas in these areas. The 30 month project involves 26 partners from 14 countries and has a budget of over 5 million euros funded by the EU.
