Jack Kerouac was an American writer and poet of French Canadian descent who made a
significant mark in history in writing during the post World War II era. He was recognized as the
leader of the Beat movement generation and most popular book, On the Road which was published
in 1957. The Beat Generation was known as the movement that was started by a group of authors
that researched and influenced American culture and politics at the time. It can be understood to
say that the Beat Generation was the precursor for the Flower Children of the 1960 s. These group
of authors of the Beat Generation included Neal Cassady, Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs, Sal
Paradise and others. Majority of the work of the Beat Generation was recognized and published
during the 1950s. Jack Kerouac s first novel Town and City was published in 1950 was an

words of encouragement, he then placed pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding, he ripped

Wallgof did not have any weapons and Unig deemed that unfair so he threw his sword away and
settled to hand to hand combat. Unig was clearly the better but hated to resort to violence, but he

Gordon Craig s critique on modern theatre. Although he appreciates actors and their work to a
certain degree, Craig advocates for the complete removal of actors from theatre and warns actors of
their misconceptions of actingas art form, providing the guidelines on what it means to be an artist
in his eyes. Denouncing actors entirely for their emotional and humanweaknesses, Craig hopes to
turn to a developing alternative at the time as their replacements, large scale puppets uber

together to create a deliberate impassioned performance. Despite sharing similarities with Craig s

As a junior in high school, I started getting emails from a division three college known as
Carleton. The purpose of these messages was to recruit me to come play football for them. After

His idea of planning does not differ from what I learned in class; however, if I had to teach this
topic to kids looking to go into coaching, I would make it specific to this field. Also, his outlook
on division three athletics resembles what the book says. They do not have a lot of money to
bring in students; therefore, they must focus on providing a fun environment for the players that
