The Cult Of Mithras And The Roman Empire
We may think that that cult origin by the fact that was taken from relevant scholars, but the early
development has remained consistently disputed. The Cult of Mithras began in the first century
and it was invented by the Roman Empire. When we think about the first century AD, Christianity
is almost very invisible during this time. The cult of Mithras development is mysterious. This
religion is invented by the Italians. Mithras provides members with sense of salvation if they
proceed through the seven stages of initiation, because the important aspect of the cult is that they
must be successful, and have spiritual bonding with their gods. If they do not success, they will
face some consequences, but members who follow this path will be rewarded and be offered
compensation. In addition, archaeological findings show that the Cult of Mithras does stay the
same from the beginning of first century to the end of fourth century AD. Archaeological evidence
of the cult only depends on the materials that existed during Roman Empire. One of the most
important types of evidence that the archaeological record shows is the nature and form of where
these men worship, a Mithraeum . Much of this worship buildings can be found in parts of Europe
and they are mostly underground in a cave and are constructed below an existing building. The first
Mithraea and written first appear at the same point in time, and clearly form part of the same cult

Father s Roles And Society In Fools Crow By James Welch
Not all Boys Grow up to be like their Father As the United States expands westward in the late
1800 s, Native American tribes that live on these frontier lands, are often feared ,misunderstood,
and despised by white settlers who want to move onto the new lands. In Fools Crow by James
Welch, the story of the Blackfoot Indians of Montana shares the growth and experiences of the
Pikunis tribe and its people as they confront new white settlers and its impact on their society and
culture. Blackfoot society in the late 1800 s is a patriarchal society that is led by chiefs, braves, and
warriors. The relationships between fathers and sons in this patriarchal society affects the Pikuni

affects this struggle. The relationship between fathers and sons affect the Pikuni people, as they

at the door has with his sons, White Man s Dog/Fools Crow and Running Fisher takes an
unexpected turn as White Man s Dog grows up and matures into a Pikuni chief, even though he
is ridiculed as unworthy until he becomes a man. White Man s Dog learns and respects the
Pikuni ways and tries to keep his people together on their land during very difficult times. The
relationship that Boss Ribs has with his son, Fast Horse, leads him to attack and kill white settlers.
Fast Horse wants nothing to do with the Pikuni culture or society and lashes out against his people
by attacking the white settlers. The actions of these father and son s change the relationship
between the Pikuni people and the white settlers. The lesson of this story is the not all boys grow

Social Norms And Deviance In Football
Deviance as a word refers to any behavior regarded as odd or unacceptable. However, from a
sociological point of view, deviance refers to any action or behavior that runs contrary to social
norms (Macionis and Gerber 200). This includes crimes, which are violations of formally enacted
rules, as well as violation of the socially accepted norms. Norms refer to the rules as well as the
expectations that guide the conventional behavior of human beings (Macionis and Gerber 204).
Thus, deviant acts arise from non conformance with these norms. Deviance is relative, to both the
time and the place. This is because an act that may appear deviant in a particular context may not
be deviant in another. For example, fighting at school is a deviant behavior,... Show more content on

Female respondents particularly had a negative view about playing football publicly as opposed
to male respondents. A number, 4, representing 100% of the female respondents, disliked
football as a sport in general, viewing it as dirty and violent. The male respondents on the other
hand were more flexible on this, with 66.6% of the male respondents opposed to playing
publicly. This was significant since these numbers included even the people who would play
themselves. Male respondents are thus more likely to be tolerant of players than females are.
Question 3 Is playing football publicly a form of deviance? 8 of the respondents felt that playing
football publicly was an act of deviance. This represented 80% of the total number of respondents.
These respondents indicated that they associated playing football publicly with deviant behavior.
In the opinion of these respondents, playing football publicly is a hazard. Thus, they expressed an
opinion that it should be stopped. The respondents also majorly believed that there might be a ban
on playing football in public places. Some of the places that were mentioned were hotels and

of the consumers buying items in this sector as low priced treats. With consumers remaining

Objectives Of Inventory Management And Management
Objectives of Inventory Management including warehouse management
Inventory management is part of the warehouse management and both of them are part of a bigger
entity which is the supply chain. The objective of supply chain is to minimize annual system wide
costs and maximizing the service level. To reach the goal or objective of supply chain, Inventory
and warehouse management have the following objectives that will help increase return on
inventory (ROI) and return on assets (ROA):
1.Maximizing customer service: Customer service refers to the firm s ability to satisfy the needs of
its customers. In Inventory and warehouse management, inaccurate customer demand forecasts,
changes in the original orders of customers, and the lack of management leads to poor customer
service level in terms of long delivery times, delivering the wrong product to customers ... Show

Inventory management: Inventory management is the total control of the inventory and lacking
this fundamental understanding can lead to big overstock, or backorders. Inventory management
includes: I.inventory accuracy: Without an automated warehouse management system, it is hard
to for a firm to be fully aware or accurate of the inventory it has on hand. Poor stock visibility can
cause excess or obsolete inventory which causes a problem if there is a demand and product
shortage which leads to unfulfilling or delaying the order of the customer. Also, excess inventory
leads to the lack of cash flow, wasting warehouse space, higher storage cost and poor customer
service.
II.inventory location: If the people working in the warehouse do not know where inventory is
located, they put the company at risk. Failing to know where the inventory is, can results in
delaying shipments because it will take the workers time to find the items which results in slowing
operations and increasing

The Objectivity Of Science And Science
The objectivity of science would be contingent on our trust in the scientists who are feeding us
knowledge. We often believe these scientists, but is there actually a reason for us to trust what they
are passing on to us? What would science be if they had not been telling the truth? There is no
denying the existence of public trust in the words of scientists, but it should be noted that
everything that we understand as scientific fact today would be in question if we lost trust in our
scientists. Teachers of science, doers of science, and scientific writers are most definitely the source
of the majority of our scientific knowledge. We have to trust these people though because if we do
not trust them, who do we trust?
The main point I am ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And if so, is being virtuous and moral enough of a reason for us to confirm our trust in the
reliability and authority of science? Could it not be the case that scientists are seen as ordinary
people possessing extraordinary knowledge as a result of their job title or description? The fact
that we have this widespread trust of science proves that we must believe to have an understanding
of what scientists are like.
There has been a long going development of a public image of scientists, one that has recently
begun to change. Due to factors such as the internet and the media, science is something that is able
to been seen and looked into simultaneously by numerous people. When a scientist intentionally
fudges their data, it is not small news. Problems of this sort have birthed various concerns about
science, and about science s authority and reliability in specific. This speculation of dishonest
scientists not only will effect the reliability of science in the eyes of the public, but also the realm
in which scientists are producing truly credible knowledge. Our technical knowledge is only as
secure as the moral economy in which it is produced (Shapin, ?). As of now, the way in which
scientists come to agree or settle disputes, is an issue that we cannot fully grasp.
This skepticism of scientific objectivity appears to be the cause of a number of our fundamental
contemporary dilemmas regarding the morality and authority of science. As long as scientists

Western Religion Essay
Throughout this semester we focused on numerous different religious practices and traditions.
Focusing now on these new religious ideals and practices has provided many different suggestions
towards spirituality: Spirituality is personal, unique, self validating, authentic, and authoritative,
whereas religionis institutional, bureaucratic, social, inflexible hierarchical, and authoritarian
(Anderson and Young 295). Many of these new practices involve women, healing methods, and
alternative divine figures. Overall, it is a common theme from many of these spiritual practices to
not have a set textual religious book such as a Bible or Torah. In addition, they do not look up to a
spiritual figure, or have set rituals or practices: New Age... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In specific, with the Wiccan women: Wiccans are cautious about their relationships with others
and especially cognizant of their relationship with the earth (Anderson and Young 307). Along
with this, they believe: What you do, whether for good or for ill, returns to you (Anderson and
Young 307). This practice is stemmed from their Rule of Three. This rule is generalized as:
being careful for the things we wish for in life, as well as how actions can create consequences.
These consequences in large can create a chain reaction in consequences broadly on the world.
Along with this, magic or magick is an important aspect of Wiccans: Magic usually refers to the
ability to affect the outcomes of events through communal or individual thought and ritual action
(Anderson and Young 309). In correlation to the magic aspect of the Wiccan spirituality, many
members call themselves witches. With this title, many cast spells and use the magic to work
through the conscience of members. However this specific practice of spell work is not
required. As many people believe magic to be a sinister act or something out of a fictional story,
that speculation can be reflected on to this Wiccan act: Magic is usually contrasted with religion:
magic is seen as a way of manipulating the universe by using specific spells, whereas religion does
not use the universe as ultimately manipulable in this way (Anderson and Young 309). However
the Wiccan s loophole to this statement refers to the fact that their magic is less about manipulation
and more about using the power to evoke positive changes to the world. This magical practice gives
rise and support to the enchanted world they believe to live in rather than the cold world. Diving
deeper into this spiritual practice brought some confusion and questionability to mind. Although I
believe there could be many

The Constrained Court Model Created By Gerald N. Rosenberg
The Constrained Court model created by Gerald N. Rosenberg, proves that the courts are weak,
powerless, and ineffective for change among race, class and gender ideologies.. Using Lisa
Frohmann s article, Convictability and Discordant Locales; in which she is reproducing race, class
and gender ideologies in Prosecutorial Decision making . Frohmann uses discordant locales as a
bridge to describe how prosecutors work in sexual assault cases. Rosenberg and Frohmann
demonstrate that the courts are not effective unless they overcome these constraints, set in the
constrained court model. According to Rosenberg and Frohmann social reform is nearly
unachievable, through the district attorney and victim cross examination interview and jury
assumptions. As Rosenberg specified in order to establish social reforms the following constraints;
limited nature of constitutional rights lack of judicial independence, judiciary s lack of power
implantation and inability to develop appropriate policies need to be eradicated.
The Dynamic Court view s claim that a major contribution of the courts in civil rights was to give
the issue clarity, press political elites to act, poke the consciences of whites, legitimate the
grievances of blacks, and fire blacks up to act is not demonstrated. In all the places examined,
where evidence supportive of the claim should exist, it does not. The concerns of clear
acknowledgement, time, and increased press coverage all cut against the theory.

Opportunity cost refers to the maximum return that could be obtained from an alternative use of
resources, but is unavoidable or foregone by employing the resources in their present use.
Opportunity Cost is also termed as Implicit Cost.
Economic Profit = Earnings or Revenue of Firm Economic Costs.

That is, it is the cost of producing one more unit of a good.
MC = Change in TC / Change in Q
Where, MC is marginal cost, TC is total cost and Q is quantity
Cost function
Cost function refers to the mathematical relationship between cost of production and the various
determinants of costs.
C=f (O, S, T, P)
Where, C is cost of output,
O is size of output,
S is size of plant,
T is Time under consideration,
P is prices of factors of production
F is function
Determinants of costs
The various factors that influence the cost are as follows:
1. Size of output:
Cost is affected by the size of output. Whenever the level of output changes the total cost also
changes. Average and marginal costs usually falls initially but rises afterwards.
2. Size of plant:
Cost is inversely related with the size of the plant. As the size of the plant increases, costs decline
and as the size of the plant decreases, cost rise. Fixed costs of bigger plant are higher than that of
the smaller plant.
3. Prices of input:
Higher the prices of inputs, higher will be the costs of production. Even for the manufacturer
getting the raw materials at low cost will help the firm to decide the product price.
4. Period under consideration:
During short period, costs tend to rise sharply as compared

Indentured Servants In The Chesapeake Research Paper
In the Virginia Magazine of History and Biography the article Indentured Servitude in the
Chesapeake is taken from the court records of Virginia that describe what happened to indentured
servants that ran away. This article also suggests historical events of the social order in the
seventeenth century. Involved in the escape were Andrew Noxe, Richard Hill, Richard Cookeson,
John Williams, Christopher Miller, Peter Milcocke, and Emanuel. The indentured servants escaped
their Master, Capt. William Pierce, on July 8, 1640. The leader, Emanuel took the skiff from his
Master and proceeded to take corn, powder, shots, and guns from Capt. Pierce. The indentured
servants wanted to escape to a dutch Plantation, which is located North where there is no slavery, to

William Pierce made a complaint to the board of Virginia that six of his servants and a negro of
Mr. Reginald s has plotted to run away north, where there is no slavery, to the Dutch plantation.
Indentured servants stopped coming to the colonies because the salaries were starting to raise in
Europe, which could have been another reason why they were trying to escape. Indentured
servants don t work their whole lives like black slaves do, indentured servants were also cheaper
because you were sort of renting them out but, you owned black slaves. Virginia has an elected
assembly, a court system and judges, which is a reason the servants didn t get away with their
actions and received punishments, some more severe than others. Most punishments included 30
stripes from whipping and working for the colony. Emanuel, Christopher Miller, and Peter
Milcocke all received the letter R burnt into their cheeks. The reason why court systems do this is
because they didn t have legal documents that said you were a prisoner or public records for that

Rising Voices Summary
Rising voices, this is one of the best documentaries that i ve ever watched. The Rising Voices
documentary was talking about a few major events that has happened. They first talk about how the
language isn t getting told to the younger children in most areas. There are many people who talk
about the information of knowing that many Lakotas don t know how to speak there language.
That is why they started to have the immersion schools. It is a very good thing that they are having
the schools, so that the language does not die off. They wantit to keep going on for generations and
generations. The entire documentary just shows that the people of South and North Dakota needto
keep trying to learn their language so that it doesn t die. That the white men can get their way.
In the documentary I liked many different components. I liked how they used elders to talk about
the language, then the adults, than teens and lastly how they have the little kids talking in their
Native language. When the elders are talking in their language, it makes not only me feel
connected to the language but I think everyone in our class felt the same way. When the adults
are talking about not having known their language it makes me feel that even though I don t
know my language right now, but one day I will know my language. I will teach my kids the
language that died in my family. Then I look at the teens who I just was not very long ago. I know

Impact of Globalisation on International Public Policy Essay
Introduction
Agreements on International Public Policy have never been as abundant as in the last century. In
the meantime, Globalisation has become a major phenomenon around the world, at various levels.
So, it will be interesting to know if globalisation makes agreements on International Public Policy
easier or harder.
Looking towards history, Globalisation has deeply affected both national and international way of
governance. Focus will be made on the economical and political aspects of globalisation and its

Internationalization refers to the increasing importance of international trade, international relations,
treaties, alliances.2.
Regionalisation means a less interconnected world , with a stronger regional spirit. (Mercosur for
example).
A definition of Globalisation would be that : Globalisation typically refers to the process by which
different economies and societies become more closely integrated3.
Another definition would be that: Globalisation describes a process by which national and regional
economies, societies, and cultures have become integrated through the global network of trade,
communication, immigration and transportation. 4
According to those definitions, globalisation seems to be a process that creates an international
market for goods and services, that creates a rise of standardised norms and social behaviour, that
facilitated centralisation of international politics through supranational entities such as the United
Nations, the World Bank or the World Trade organisation.
Looking towards history, markets has been increasingly integrated to a global market, which was
followed by the spread of ideologies (liberalism, democracy, capitalism, human right).

London By George Eliot And Monet s The House Of...
London, England s capital, is one of the top twenty five largest cities in the world, located on the
River Thames with a history reaching all the way back to Roman times. From the London Eye and
Big Ben to the Albert and Victoria Memorial and Buckingham Palace, there is an abundance of
adventures to journey on in the prodigious city of London. Despite all the fascinating monuments
and architecture there is to see, London has the reputation of constantly being gloomy and raining.
With this reputation, there is plenty of artwork that resembles the image of gloomy, large London.
Three pieces of artwork that resemble the gloomy and large qualities of London are In a London
Drawing Room by George Eliot, A London Thoroughfare. 2 AM by Amy Lowell, and Monet s The
House of Parliament, sunset (1903).
Eliot s painting of London represents the vast city as isolated and extremely gloomy, where no
bird can make a shadow as it flies as a result of the immense amount of fog floating in the air.
Here, London is depicted as a lonely and isolated city when Eliot says, All hurry on look upon the
ground, / Or glance unmarking at the passers by / The wheels are hurrying too, cabs, carriages
/ All closed, in multiplied identity. With the millions of people breathing in London, it is still an
empty city where people do not recognize one another and do not form the effort to conceive new
relationships. In this sentence, it construes what giant cities are like; filled with independent

Questions On The And Law
When deliberating upon legal quandaries law students and attorneys engage upon a five
component process to scrutinize all the dynamics of a legal premise(s). Litigators and law
students denote this process as IRAC (Issue, Rule, Application, and Conclusion). Therefore,
IRAC is simply the blueprint for analyzing a legal dispute. While legal dilemmas can become
tedious, time consuming, overwhelming, and extremely complex, IRAC methodology can
make the process somewhat easier. Hence, IRAC process forces the litigator to apply critical
thinking (Metzler, 2003). Furthermore, Metzler states, the litigator must have a comprehensive
understanding of the following: Issue What is the central question regarding the tort? Is this a
civil or lawsuit? Rule What law(s) govern the issue at hand? The litigator must research many
laws to determine which case or cases apply to a particular case. The litigator will also determine
which rule(s) is better suited for the special case. Application How does the rule apply to the
case? Understanding how the rule applies to the case may allow the litigator to predict the
outcome of litigation. Conclusion Provides the answer to the issue statement. When a litigator
uses the IRAC tool, he or she will become better prepared to represent adequately either civil or
lawsuit dilemma(s). The IRAC Method The IRAC method is a tool that is used in the legal
profession to compose an analysis of a legal case that is being studied and is the

Characteristics of Managers and Leaders
Characteristics of Managers and Leaders:
The concepts of leadership and management are viewed differently by different people though
managers and leaders are important in management. Some people view these terms as synonyms
and use them interchangeably in sentences and phrases while others consider them to be extreme
opposites. Actually, people who consider the terms as quite different argue that it s nearly
impossible to be a good leader and a good manager at the same time. Nonetheless, there are some
who stay in the middle ground since they believe that individuals can successfully navigate in both
with the right knowledge. Notably, today s organizations, groups, and teams require both effective
managers and effective leaders to function efficiently. As important people for effective functioning
of organizations, managers and leaders have similar and differing characteristics.
Leadership vs. Management: Leadership is a process with which a person influences a group of
people towards the accomplishment of a common goal. While there are various descriptions for
leadership, some of its central components include being a process, involving influence, functions
in the context of a group, and incorporates the achievement of a common goal (Ricketts, 2009).
However, the components play a minimal role in the utilized description or theory despite of how
leadership is operationalized. Since leadership involves the establishment of a new direction or

its not like it was before. During 20th to 21st century auto industry had many highs and lows but
overall had collapsed completely. While Detroit s officials though that they settled the economy for
a long run, the unexpected change in the city s profit destroyed the economic system. Detroit which

economical collapse due to miscalculation of revenue, which also led to failure of education system

Australia s Involvement In The Vietnam War
The Cold War era (1945 1989) was conflicted with the dominance of, overall, the two superpowers,
the U.S.S.R and the U.S, with political and social ideology taking centre stage. Australia s
involvement during this time, was paramount and reinstated its long term allegiance with the
United States when entering South Vietnam. After WWII had finished, the Soviet Unionshowed
aggression towards the U.S as the competition for world superiority began, and led to the capitalist

Pros And Cons Of Porn
Spreading immorality? Ruining relationships? Perpetuating sexism and increasing crime rate? On
top of any religious objections, pornography has always been a very controversial subject, an issue
with various opinions and also blatant facts.
Especially for the past few decades, the porn debate with its cons and pros has been raging
constantly. Those who link pornography to countless crimes and ill effects are definitely
ideologically motivated, but the actual scientific evidence hardly supports their conclusions.
Here are some of the most essential cons of pornography and the facts that prove them wrong:
1.Porn is obscene, ill and against religion! Throughout the world, porn is considered in most
cultures quite morally questionable and obscene and religious beliefs are against it, considering it a

I began attending San Jose State University from in Fall 2012. It was a stressful transition but I
soon settled into campus and began thoroughly enjoying the campus as an experience. A year and

find another major. I found delight in being able to analyze social situations and public speaking

In my undergraduate degree, I directed and produced a public art performance under the supervision
of Dr. Oona Hatton. The performance, titled Our Stage, Your Voice , focused on learning what the

What Is Statistics
Statistics can be defined as the science that deals with the collection, classification, analysis, and
interpretation of numerical facts of data, and that, by use of mathematical theories of probability,
imposes order and regularity on aggregates of more or less disparate elements (Dictionary.com,
LLC, 2008). Yet how do we use these specific elements in our everyday working lives? Many don
t realize the extent to which we as a culture base our decisions on statistics. We us them in
something as small as predicting the outcome of a game or number of points that a team will score.
Statistics surrounds us in many ways and in many forms. As the American Statistical Association

Yet when it came closer and more information was pulled they realized that this statistical
information was indeed inaccurate and did not provide enough data to see the true statistics on
Clemens. They noted that to be accurate they needed to look at all of the athletes that have as
successful as Clemens not just in the same age bracket. When looking at this particular information
they noted that indeed Clemens was irregular and did not fit the mold of the normal athlete not
using performance enhancing drugs. This shows that with inaccurate and inadequate information
that the wrong conclusion can be made. (Knowledge@Wharton, 2008) Just seeing this information
makes you realize the importance of collecting information for correct statistical analysis. When
researching statistics you can also see that there is much relying on the statistical analysis s that are

Problems of the Food System Essay
We live in an age in which we have come to expect everything to be instantaneously at our
fingertips. We live in an age of instant coffee, instant tea, and even instant mashed potatoes. We
can walk down the street at 5 in the morning and get a gallon of milk or even a weeks worth of
groceries at our discretion. Even though it is great that foodis now readily available at all times, this
convenience comes at a price, for both the producer and the consumer. Farmers are cheated out of

Additionally, big business controls the farmers by capitalizing on widely used commodities.
For example, the company Monsanto which is based in St. Louis, Missouri protects its
dominance over the genetically modified crops such as the soy bean with the use of a patent
law. Because of this, Monsanto s patented genes account for 95 percent of all soy beans and 80
percent of all corn grown in the U.S., (Associated Press). Although genetically modifying the soy
bean crop has made it more readily available and more sustainable, this comes at a high price to
farmers. Monsanto continues to raise their prices, which forces farmers to accrue even more
debt, and there is no sign of the rise in the seed prices stopping. Since a lot of the farmers are
under contract with Monsanto, there is nothing they can do about this unethical policy in fear of
losing their job. If you think being a farmer is bad, try working in a slaughter house. Knocker,
Sticker, Shackler, Rumper, First Legger, Knuckle Dropper, these are just a few of the positions the
workers at a slaughterhouse get assigned to. Simply reading the names of the above job positions
induces a sense of nausea and hints at the inherent brutality that these positions demand (Schlosser,

Description Of Key Theories And Ideas Essay
Description of Key Theories and Ideas Motivation During his lifetime, Abraham Maslow s work
revolved around studying motivation and needs. He was the creator of the theory of
motivation. This theory was originated off of the idea of having self actualizing needs that have
to be fulfilled. There is a difference in classification of these needs, with there being lower and
higher needs. This difference created what is known as the hierarchy of needs (Sheehy,
Chapman, Conroy, 1997; Wilson, 1972). These include physiological, safety, belongingness and
love, esteem, self actualization holistic dynamic theory (Dobbert Mackey, 2015; Maslow, 1971;
Sheehy, Chapman, Conroy, 1997). The lowest needs have to be satisfied to reach the higher
needs (Sheehy, Chapman, Conroy, 1997). These lower needs are known as basic needs, and
they are what drive humans to self actualize (Dobbert Mackey, 2015; Wilson, 1972). The first of
these lower needs is physiological needs, such as hunger and thirst. Next is safety needs, or
desire to feel secure and free from harm. After comes love needs, which are also known as
belongingness needs. These needs are met when one feels as though they have people who need
them. Next, esteem needs are fulfilled when they are able to gain a satisfying image of themselves.
Finally, the last need is self actualization, or the desire to reach one s fullest capacity in life
(Sheehy, Chapman, Conroy, 1997; Taormina Gao, 2013; Wilson, 1972). Satisfying the

people consumed food every single day especially on the weekends. Restaurant forecasting is
used not only to calculate sales projections but also for predicting staffing levels and labor cost
percentages (Walker 2013). Restaurant consumers expectations these days are high. Most
consumers check out the menu online before their visit. They are also seeking a better nutrition

now offer a variety of healthy food such as gluten free and low in carbohydrates. The guests are
paying more attention on what they eat. My opinion is both hotels and restaurants are here to

demand for hotels in the area is very slow. So, what the company does is they will lay them off for

Animal Revolution In Animal Farm
The novel Animal Farm by George Orwell is about animals that overthrow the owner and rule
the farm by themselves. The quote Revolutions have never lightened the burden of tyranny, they
have only shifted it to another shoulder refers to the animals disliking the ruling of Jones and
wanting to make a change in their lives and be independent. The animals were happy with this
change that resulted from the Revolution at first. However, it was later found that overthrowing
Jones didn t make the community better than before, and the actions that the animals disliked
when Jones ruled stayed the same. Also, the rules slowly changed in the pigs favor when they
became the leaders. The first reason why the Rebellion of the animals didn t lighten the burden
of Jones ruling is that the ruling of the pigs didn t make the community better and the specific
acts that the animals despised stayed the same when the animals overthrew Jones. For example,
the animals did not like that they had to do laborious work for the humans and that they were
killed without a reasonable cause. When Old Major announces his speech, he states, We are
born, we are given just so much food as will keep the breath in our bodies, and those of us who
are capable of it are forced to work the last atom of our strength; and at the very instant that our
usefulness has come to an end we are slaughtered with hideous cruelty (7). The animals are very

The Affordable Care Act was signed into law March 23, 2010 by President Barack Obama;
however, the constitutionality of the law remained in question. In a controversial 5 to 4 ruling, The
U.S. Supreme Court upheld the law on June 28, 2012. The ACA is thought by some as the United
States health care rescue, and as its downfall by others.
It is estimated that the ACA will provide new services to 64 million Americans, providing health

The aim of the ACA is to provide affordable health care to all Americans, but it still leaves some
issues unaddressed that will impact the access to health care. Covino (n.d.), Though the
intentions of the legislation are good, the Affordable Care Act does little to improve the actual
health care delivery system (para.1, page 2). According to the American Medical Association,
we are facing an increasing Physician shortage. As of 2010 we faced a shortfall of 13,700
physicians, the estimate is that number will increase to 62,900 by 2015, 91,500 by 2020, and
130,600 by 2025 (Krupa, n.d.), with primary care taking the largest impact. Health Care
coverage will be of no benefit if there are no doctors to treat the patients. An example of this
occurred in 2002 when Thailand s 30 Bhat Scheme added (CNN n.d.) 14 million people to the
country s health care system, resulting in long waits and subpar service (Your health is covered,
but who is going to treat you?) Several factors contribute to the physician shortage. Many
physicians are reaching the age of retirement, the Association of American Medical Colleges
estimates nearly 15 million physicians will be eligible for Medicare in the coming years (CNN
n.d.). The increasing cost of malpractice insurance also deters many from pursuing a career in
medicine, and is forcing some doctors to retire. Also contributing to the physician shortage is a
lack of spots in residency programs. In 2011, more than 7,000 were left

Solubility Enhancement Of Fenofibrate By Solid Dispersion...
Solubility Enhancement of Fenofibrate by Solid Dispersion Technique
1.Introduction:
Oral route of drug administration is one of the preferable methods of drug delivery due to its
convenience, ease of administration and a more effective medication system than other drug
delivery systems in terms of patient s compliance. However, not all drugs are of same solubility;
some poorly soluble hydrophobic drug often generates certain complexities in formulation
development as well as other clinical research. As a result, increasing the dose and higher
administration frequency of these poorly soluble drugs may not compensate for the therapeutic
dose of the drug. Therefore, to effectively utilize the therapeutic efficacy of the drug, enhancement
of solubility and dissolution profile can be a promising approach.
1.1 Techniques available to enhance solubility:
The solubility of a solute can be defined as the maximum amount of solute dissolving in a specific
quantity of solvent at a specified temperature. To improve the solubility of poorly soluble drugs,
numerous techniques are available which can be categorized in three basic approaches:
1. Traditional Techniques
2. Newer and Novel Techniques
3. Solid Dispersion Technique

Three main issues arise when it comes to dividend policy in firms. The first issue is whether
dividend is needed or not and the second issue is regarding which one would be the best option
among various payout methods. Lastly, the third issue is about dividend rate. Whether these issues
will affect corporate values has been debated over the years. This paper will talk about such issues
through the case study of Linear Technology.

Since the firm s stocks are growth stocks, the cash used to repurchase stocks lacks the opportunity
of generating high cash flows. Accordingly, the market price would result in decreased future
earnings, EPS, and the firm value of Linear. The number of outstanding shares, instead of the price,
will decrease. While the price of stock would increase just as the amount of cash paid out to
repurchase the outstanding stocks. It is important that in both cases, earnings and earnings per share
before the payment are not affected.
3. About the dividend rate
Firms judge the rate of dividend initiations by earnings. However, simply put, if dividend rate
changes depending on the change of earnings, the fluctuation of dividend will increase. This
would not be good. Because cutting dividends means uncertain future cash flows. If a company
cuts dividend rate, shareholders will need higher opportunity costs of capital, as a result stock
prices will go down. Thus, Linear has retained constantly increasing dividend rates in small
amounts. Under the theoretical assumptions such as M M, there is no difference whether firms
pay out dividends or not. And if the cost of capital is lower than a firm s ROE, no dividend can
raise a firm s value. However, considering the real life factors, firms should keep on steady level
of dividend rate or repurchasing shares. Repurchasing shares seems to be a better solution. As a

citizen had the right to bear and own a gun. This is still the case in modern day America. In fact
an 18 year old cannot buy any alcohol, but does have the possibility to walk in a store and buy a
gun, often without any license or experience. It is likely that when this amendment is abolished the
average American citizen is more safe from mass shootings and gun violence.
According to Nelson Lund, professor at the George Mason University of Law, people would not
feel safe seeing that they would find it more difficult to protect their homes and family without the
security of a firearm. The right to self defense and to the means of defending oneself is a basic
natural right that grows out of the right to life. In addition to that Wayne LaPierre, Vice President of
the National Rifle Association, has claimed that: The only thing that ... Show more content on

New legislations would not help to reduce the number of shootings. The only people who would
gun down several people are the mentally ill and that concludes to the problem laying in the
American mental care system and its lack of good and thorough concern for people with
psychological issues. By changing the second amendment, Americans are generalized to gun
obsessed people who cannot own and be responsible with a firearm, when the truth could not be

Symbolism In Fences By August Wilson
The idea of a fence is simple. We set up a border with the hope that we can keep things about. The
same idea even transferred over to August Wilson Fences as we see the main character Troy try
to build a fence around his yard to keep what he loves in and what s not needed out. Although
this is the standard use of a fence what was the main metaphor of Fences that kept the storyline
going? I believe that the fence Troy Maxson built a fence between death, his wife, and his
children by pushing them away which led him to him nothing to protect on the inside of his
fence to follow up with his death several years later. Throughout the play, Maxon has the fear
that death will end his life and take those he loves away, so he builds up a fence around his life
to keep death away. Even when Troy saw death approaching him and hopping over the fence it
took him so long to build he did not allow him to get away with doing him dirty as he fought
death for three days and three nights. (Wilson. I.1. 897). with the final result of him winning and
telling death that you gonna have to find me! (Wilson. I.1. 897). With these words along Troy

The Alpha Of The Pack Essay
Annabell s Pov
7 years.... 7 years spent in this territory being beaten and abused bu the pack and the Alpha.
Today is my 16th birthday the time, I am suppose to find my mate, fall in love, and live happily
ever after. But its not going to happen, because I spend most of my time locked in the cellar of
Alpha s basement. I am the omega of the pack. I ran away from my old pack when I was nine
picked up by this pack and since I had less training and was not as buff as them I became the
Omega everybody beat up on.
I remember hearing story from my parents as a little kid talking about mates, how they loved
each other unconditionally and were each other life. But I will never find that because I am
trapped I am this cell locked up until the pack feels like hurting me or I need to do their chores. I

today is different. I smell chocolate and strawberry.
I close my eyes and breath in the scent Mate I heard my wolf Chloe say before shrinking back in
to her mental cage. I don t have enough power to keep both of us health so she sacrificed herself
to let me hang on too what ever shred of life I have. I breath in the scent again, another Alpha has
come to rescue me, my mate and love. I opened my eyes and saw Alpha. My mate the one how has
been abusing me all these years.

Essay on The Raise of the West
The rise of the west in the past two to three hundred years has coincided with the rise in the
popularity of democratic governments in the west, such as the US and France. This can be seen as
evidence showing that democracy stimulates economic growth since democratisation often
precedes growth. Others may argue that the reverse is true and economic growth is the driving
forces behind democratization in the west. For example, the French revolutionwas partly caused by
the rise of the middle classBourgeoisie in the 18th century demanding more rights than the ancien
regime could offer. In this paper, I will analyse and examine the correlation and causal relation
between these two factors.
Some historical evidences appear to support ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This removed the monarch s power to grant monopolies and also provided a relatively more free
market in Britain.
Along with historical evidences, contemporary studies have also appeared to support the argument
that democracy can indeed promote economic growth. Rodrik (1999) has shown in his study that
GDP per capita and democracy has a correlation of 2.48. Democracy here is measured with the
Freedom House measure of democracy which ranges from 0 to 1 with 0 representing a complete
totalitarian government and 1 representing a full representative democracy. The estimation of
0.28 is fairly significant since an increase in 0.1 point of the index leads to a prediction of an
increase in 0.248% of growth rate. This increase in predicted growth is a result in the better
economic freedom and rule of law that democracy can offer. This is also shown in Rodrik s
study that democracy is correlated with rule of law with a coefficient of 0.29, with the same
definition of democracy and measures. This is supported by Barro s study which has shown that
there is a linear correlation between rule of law (measured by the political risk indicator for

Why I Had Taken a Break from Blogging
I feel like I owe you all an explanation. I said in my Blue Moon Cinnamon Horchata Ale Bread

My mind is a lot stronger than my body and I can t lie and say that it doesn t bother my state of
mind on most days. I have to fight against the pain that I feel everyday and try not to complain
about it unless it s completely unbearable at that moment. It can take a good thirty minutes to an
hour to get out of bed when I wake up because my limbs might be temporarily paralyzed or my
heart is tachycardic and there s nothing I can do about it. But once I get myself together after I
wake up, I say a prayer, think positive thoughts and go on about my day!
Because my days are so unpredictable, I literally have to take one day at a time. Planning upcoming
days can seem like an impossible feat because I never know how my body will respond. Most
bloggers are great at planning their blog schedules ahead of time and sticking to it. To be honest, I
started to develop blogger envy because I would read posts about how well other bloggers could
stick to their schedule and because of their consistency, their following grew exponentially. I was
struggling with growing my following on social networks because I couldn t be as consistent as
them. That destroyed my inner peace and I never should of let that happen because most of those
bloggers don t face the same challenges as me and I shouldn t have been comparing my grass to

Love Medicine Chapter 18 Summary
Foster brings up rebirth again through the idea of baptism within chapter 18 of his novel. He
starts off by defining what Baptism is and how it is the symbolic death and rebirth of a certain
person. Foster states that drowning is a type of symbolic baptism because the character would
come back up and be reborn. He explains how this is representing a form of rebirth where the
character who is being baptized is leaving behind their old life and gaining a new one. Other
forms of symbolic baptism that Foster mentions are traveling on water such as oceans and rivers.
Some people don t want to survive the drowning and he shows this by explaining the story Love
Medicine where the main character s uncle imagines going to the bottom of Lake Matchimanito ...

You can see how the rain chapter is correlated through this one because it even states that rain is
able to baptize and have some sort of purity. The other chapter is the Biblical one because
Baptism is obviously something relating to the religion of Christianity and has been used in the
religion traditionally. However, when these two chapters mix together it does emphasize many
points. It doesn t only show that rain can baptize but other things are able to also. I m going to
bring up the story Lord of the Flies because, again, it has many symbols relating to the Bible and
religion. When the story begins, we notice that a plane full of English boys is headed towards
army training or some sort of recruitment. However, the plane crashes and ends up on an island.
Here we can assume that everyone on that plane has died. That assumption is somewhat right
actually. The boys died there on the plane and left their old lives back but now they are reborn
and on an island where they don t know anything. They don t know how to survive at all when
stranded and they are like babies that need help from their mother. However, they do learn and
eventually create a small society with enemies and such. With the plane crash, we are able to see
how baptism can be symbolized by anything in

atmosphere, or environment. a) Using the Typology of Service Environments in Fig. 13 2,
describe where Albertsons would be positioned within the grid. A typical shopping trip to
Albertsons is relatively short in duration and may serve both utilitarian and hedonic motives.
Consumers require food, but they may also enjoy the shopping experience and the feelings they

Family Religious History
I grew up with my maternal grandparents in China. From an early age, I was taught the notion of
filial piety, paying respect to elderly members while making concessions to the younger members.
It plays a central role in my family as well as the families in which my grandparents came from.
My grandmother is born in a scholarly family heavily influenced by teachings of Confucianism.
Strict rules apply to how children should behave to show respect to adults. For instance, children
are not allowed to eat before adults begin eating, which exemplifies the belief that parents are
authoritative over children. Unlike her parents, my grandmother is not keen on being an
authoritative figure. She believes that a mutually respectful relationship with everyone regardless
of age is the key to a harmonious family. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I have adopted a secular view on traditions. Rather than accepting filial piety as an obligation, I see
it as a guide to the moral conducts. Making sacrifices means more of a duty to preserve my cultural
identity than a religious experience.
My grandfather, on the other hand, is from a poor, rural family. Although his family did not
enforce a harsh discipline which is derived from the notion of filial piety, he is the most pious
devotee to traditional practices in my family and sees filial piety as an obligation. It is his way of
showing reverence to his mother, who changed his course of life. Despite the meager income, my
great grandmother insisted on him to complete his college education so that he could find work
that allows him to escape poverty. He feels heavily indebted to

3.Financial Fraud
The most distinctive feature of Parmalat s financial reports was the coincidental high level of cash
and debt. Similar to Enron s, its disclosure policy was characterized by its management s vague and
arrogant approach towards analysts and investors. Traditionally, European companies hold more in
assets than American companies do; so when the document was provided to explain the company s
assets in relation to its debt, nothing was seen as extraordinary. Figure 1 Parmalat(PAF) time line

In October 2002 the group launched a bond issue of 150 million, and in November a new bond
issue by Parmalat Soparfi followed, with a value of €200 million and Morgan Stanley acting as
the only bookrunner. These issues alerted the market. On 6 March 2003, the Italian asset
management association wrote a letter to Parmalat and CONSOB, accusing the group s lacking of
transparency. As a reaction, Parmalat organized a meeting in Milan on 10 April 2003. During this
meeting, Mr. Tanzi announced that the Group s CFO, Mr. Tonna, had resigned and a new CFO,
Mr. Ferraris, was in charge. The market reacted positively and the price rebounded after the
February s downturn.
Mr. Ferraris, Parmalat s new CFO, had promised that it would have used only cash to repay the
Group s debt. Nevertheless, in June, it was discovered that Parmalat had privately placed a new
bond. The real amount of all pending bonds was still a secret. When

Dormant Commerce Clause
The decision of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals should be affirmed. The state of Eastland s waste
disposal regulation is neither discriminatory nor protectionist. Historically, businesses and
professionals know that licensing requirements and authority belongs solely to states and local
governments. A state government does not violate the commerce clause when it sets licensing
requirements for incineration and interment of fetal tissues pursuant to its autonomy and police
powers in carrying out local activities that has always been its traditional functions to ensure the

A state or local authority does not necessarily violate the commerce clause when having created a
market through a state funded program requires out of staters to pay a minimal percentage as
their fair share to participate in the program. McBurney v. Young, 133 S. Ct. 1709 (2013). While
this requirement might seem protectionist in a loose sense, it simply reflects the fundamental
function of a state government to maintain an even handed and fair access to state services for the
benefit of all residents. The fee in question is to be applied to an activity with a substantial nexus
with Eastland, it is minimal and fairly apportioned, and it is nondiscriminatory. Furthermore, there
is an undeniable rational relationship between the fee and the activity covered. Trinova Corp. v.
Mich. Dep t of Treasury, 498 U.S. 358 (1991). The citizens of Eastland has already paid their fair
quota through the state tax, which out of staters did not pay. It is only fair that they contribute their
fair share to benefit from the program. Additionally, the money will cover the extra cost necessary
to maintain the routine and proper inspection of the out of state disposal services. Even if,
concededly, there is any burden on interstate commerce, it

Golden Age Of Absolutism Essay
The Age of Absolutism, ranging from 1550 1800, was a period of time where monarchs
successfully gathered wealth and power of states thus allowing the world to witness the
emergence of the Absolute Monarch . The beginning of the absolutism unarguably originated in
Spain with King Philip II who remained in power for 42 years, claiming he ruled by divine right.
Philip II not only extended Spain s power during his time as an absolute monarch but also led
Spain through a Golden Age from the years 1550 1650. Philip II founded academies of both
mathematics and science leading to an increase in education and was also an avid patron of the

Successful CEOs Deserve their Huge Salaries
Are America s CEOs paid more than they deserve? Many people s answer is a vehement: Yes.
That view is reinforced anew every spring, when companies file their financial statements and we
learn how much CEOs were paid last year.
In 2003 the average pay for CEOs at 200 of the largest U.S. companies was $11.3 million but
there are a good number whose compensation packages approach the $100 million mark. Faced
with these figures, Americans from all walks of life who revile CEOs as greedy fat cats are

What long term business model will attract venture capital? Should the company accept short term
partial sponsorship from a large drug manufacturer in exchange for a modest royalty on the drug
in the future or risk going it alone and possibly running out of funds? It is on such decisions that a
company s success is made and lives of cancer patients may depend.
In order to be successful in the long range, the CEO s strategy must encompass countless factors.
He must devise a plan to grow the business in the face of competitors, not only from within the
United States but from any and every region of today s global economy. The CEO calls the plays
for a team of tens (and sometimes hundreds) of thousands of workers. All of the actions of every
employee and every aspect of the business must be coordinated and integrated to produce the cars,

that integration.
To successfully steer a corporation across the span of years by integrating its strengths toward
the goal of creating wealth, requires from the CEO exceptional thought and judgment. Excellent
CEOs are as rare as MLB caliber pitchers or NFL caliber quarterbacks. And in the business world,
every day is the Super Bowl. There is no off season or respite from the need to perform at one s
peak.
Given the effect a CEO can have on a company s success, we can understand why their
compensation packages

However, from a sociological point of view, deviance refers to any action or behavior that runs contrary to social norms (Macionis and Gerber 200). Objectives Of Inventory Management And Management Objectives of Inventory Management including warehouse management Inventory management is part of the warehouse management and both of them are part of a bigger entity which is the supply chain. The objective of supply chain is to minimize annual system wide costs and maximizing the service level. To reach the goal or objective of supply chain, Inventory and warehouse management have the following objectives that will help increase return on inventory (ROI) and return on assets (ROA): 1.Maximizing customer service: Customer service refers to the firm s ability to satisfy the needs of its customers. • 9. The Objectivity Of Science And Science The objectivity of science would be contingent on our trust in the scientists who are feeding us knowledge. We often believe these scientists, but is there actually a reason for us to trust what they are passing on to us? What would science be if they had not been telling the truth? There is no denying the existence of public trust in the words of scientists, but it should be noted that everything that we understand as scientific fact today would be in question if we lost trust in our scientists. Teachers of science, doers of science, and scientific writers are most definitely the source of the majority of our scientific knowledge. We have to trust these people though because if we do not trust them, who do we trust? The main point I am ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... And if so, is being virtuous and moral enough of a reason for us to confirm our trust in the reliability and authority of science? Could it not be the case that scientists are seen as ordinary people possessing extraordinary knowledge as a result of their job title or description? The fact that we have this widespread trust of science proves that we must believe to have an understanding of what scientists are like. There has been a long going development of a public image of scientists, one that has recently begun to change. Due to factors such as the internet and the media, science is something that is able to been seen and looked into simultaneously by numerous people. When a scientist intentionally fudges their data, it is not small news. Problems of this sort have birthed various concerns about science, and about science s authority and reliability in specific. This speculation of dishonest scientists not only will effect the reliability of science in the eyes of the public, but also the realm in which scientists are producing truly credible knowledge. Our technical knowledge is only as secure as the moral economy in which it is produced (Shapin, ?). As of now, the way in which scientists come to agree or settle disputes, is an issue that we cannot fully grasp. This skepticism of scientific objectivity appears to be the cause of a number of our fundamental contemporary dilemmas regarding the morality and authority of science. As long as scientists ... • 10. Western Religion Essay Throughout this semester we focused on numerous different religious practices and traditions. Focusing now on these new religious ideals and practices has provided many different suggestions towards spirituality: Spirituality is personal, unique, self validating, authentic, and authoritative, whereas religionis institutional, bureaucratic, social, inflexible hierarchical, and authoritarian (Anderson and Young 295). Many of these new practices involve women, healing methods, and alternative divine figures. Overall, it is a common theme from many of these spiritual practices to not have a set textual religious book such as a Bible or Torah. In addition, they do not look up to a spiritual figure, or have set rituals or practices: New Age... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In specific, with the Wiccan women: Wiccans are cautious about their relationships with others and especially cognizant of their relationship with the earth (Anderson and Young 307). Along with this, they believe: What you do, whether for good or for ill, returns to you (Anderson and Young 307). This practice is stemmed from their Rule of Three. This rule is generalized as: being careful for the things we wish for in life, as well as how actions can create consequences. These consequences in large can create a chain reaction in consequences broadly on the world. Along with this, magic or magick is an important aspect of Wiccans: Magic usually refers to the ability to affect the outcomes of events through communal or individual thought and ritual action (Anderson and Young 309). In correlation to the magic aspect of the Wiccan spirituality, many members call themselves witches. With this title, many cast spells and use the magic to work through the conscience of members. However this specific practice of spell work is not required. As many people believe magic to be a sinister act or something out of a fictional story, that speculation can be reflected on to this Wiccan act: Magic is usually contrasted with religion: magic is seen as a way of manipulating the universe by using specific spells, whereas religion does not use the universe as ultimately manipulable in this way (Anderson and Young 309). However the Wiccan s loophole to this statement refers to the fact that their magic is less about manipulation and more about using the power to evoke positive changes to the world. This magical practice gives rise and support to the enchanted world they believe to live in rather than the cold world. Diving deeper into this spiritual practice brought some confusion and questionability to mind. Although I believe there could be many ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. The Constrained Court Model Created By Gerald N. Rosenberg The Constrained Court model created by Gerald N. Rosenberg, proves that the courts are weak, powerless, and ineffective for change among race, class and gender ideologies.. Using Lisa Frohmann s article, Convictability and Discordant Locales; in which she is reproducing race, class and gender ideologies in Prosecutorial Decision making . Frohmann uses discordant locales as a bridge to describe how prosecutors work in sexual assault cases. Rosenberg and Frohmann demonstrate that the courts are not effective unless they overcome these constraints, set in the constrained court model. According to Rosenberg and Frohmann social reform is nearly unachievable, through the district attorney and victim cross examination interview and jury assumptions. As Rosenberg specified in order to establish social reforms the following constraints; limited nature of constitutional rights lack of judicial independence, judiciary s lack of power implantation and inability to develop appropriate policies need to be eradicated. The Dynamic Court view s claim that a major contribution of the courts in civil rights was to give the issue clarity, press political elites to act, poke the consciences of whites, legitimate the grievances of blacks, and fire blacks up to act is not demonstrated. This article also suggests historical events of the social order in the seventeenth century. Involved in the escape were Andrew Noxe, Richard Hill, Richard Cookeson, John Williams, Christopher Miller, Peter Milcocke, and Emanuel. The indentured servants escaped their Master, Capt. William Pierce, on July 8, 1640. The leader, Emanuel took the skiff from his Master and proceeded to take corn, powder, shots, and guns from Capt. Pierce. The entire documentary just shows that the people of South and North Dakota needto keep trying to learn their language so that it doesn t die. That the white men can get their way. In the documentary I liked many different components. I liked how they used elders to talk about the language, then the adults, than teens and lastly how they have the little kids talking in their Native language. When the elders are talking in their language, it makes not only me feel connected to the language but I think everyone in our class felt the same way. When the adults are talking about not having known their language it makes me feel that even though I don t know my language right now, but one day I will know my language. From the London Eye and Big Ben to the Albert and Victoria Memorial and Buckingham Palace, there is an abundance of adventures to journey on in the prodigious city of London. Despite all the fascinating monuments and architecture there is to see, London has the reputation of constantly being gloomy and raining. Litigators and law students denote this process as IRAC (Issue, Rule, Application, and Conclusion). Therefore, IRAC is simply the blueprint for analyzing a legal dispute. While legal dilemmas can become tedious, time consuming, overwhelming, and extremely complex, IRAC methodology can make the process somewhat easier. Hence, IRAC process forces the litigator to apply critical thinking (Metzler, 2003). Furthermore, Metzler states, the litigator must have a comprehensive understanding of the following: Issue What is the central question regarding the tort? Is this a civil or lawsuit? Rule What law(s) govern the issue at hand? The litigator must research many laws to determine which case or cases apply to a particular case. The litigator will also determine which rule(s) is better suited for the special case. Application How does the rule apply to the case? Understanding how the rule applies to the case may allow the litigator to predict the outcome of litigation. Conclusion Provides the answer to the issue statement. When a litigator uses the IRAC tool, he or she will become better prepared to represent adequately either civil or lawsuit dilemma(s). He was the creator of the theory of motivation. This theory was originated off of the idea of having self actualizing needs that have to be fulfilled. There is a difference in classification of these needs, with there being lower and higher needs. This difference created what is known as the hierarchy of needs (Sheehy, Chapman, Conroy, 1997; Wilson, 1972). These include physiological, safety, belongingness and love, esteem, self actualization holistic dynamic theory (Dobbert Mackey, 2015; Maslow, 1971; Sheehy, Chapman, Conroy, 1997). The lowest needs have to be satisfied to reach the higher needs (Sheehy, Chapman, Conroy, 1997). These lower needs are known as basic needs, and they are what drive humans to self actualize (Dobbert Mackey, 2015; Wilson, 1972). The first of these lower needs is physiological needs, such as hunger and thirst. Next is safety needs, or desire to feel secure and free from harm. After comes love needs, which are also known as belongingness needs. These needs are met when one feels as though they have people who need them. Next, esteem needs are fulfilled when they are able to gain a satisfying image of themselves. However, it was later found that overthrowing Jones didn t make the community better than before, and the actions that the animals disliked when Jones ruled stayed the same. In addition to providing new health insurance coverage, the ACA implemented several components that can expand access to health care. One policy ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The aim of the ACA is to provide affordable health care to all Americans, but it still leaves some issues unaddressed that will impact the access to health care. Covino (n.d.), Though the intentions of the legislation are good, the Affordable Care Act does little to improve the actual health care delivery system (para.1, page 2). According to the American Medical Association, we are facing an increasing Physician shortage. As of 2010 we faced a shortfall of 13,700 physicians, the estimate is that number will increase to 62,900 by 2015, 91,500 by 2020, and 130,600 by 2025 (Krupa, n.d.), with primary care taking the largest impact. Health Care coverage will be of no benefit if there are no doctors to treat the patients. An example of this occurred in 2002 when Thailand s 30 Bhat Scheme added (CNN n.d.) 14 million people to the country s health care system, resulting in long waits and subpar service (Your health is covered, but who is going to treat you?) Several factors contribute to the physician shortage. Many physicians are reaching the age of retirement, the Association of American Medical Colleges estimates nearly 15 million physicians will be eligible for Medicare in the coming years (CNN n.d.). The increasing cost of malpractice insurance also deters many from pursuing a career in medicine, and is forcing some doctors to retire. Also contributing to the physician shortage is a lack of spots in residency programs. In 2011, more than 7,000 were left ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

You could make the case that by the creation of NATO and the CIA, it was the start of the decline of the USSR. The USSR should never have put up a blockade against the Germans because it would later cause the Berlin Airlift which supplied Germany with supplies by the United Statesand British planes going into West Berlin. Solubility Enhancement of Fenofibrate by Solid Dispersion Technique 1.Introduction: Oral route of drug administration is one of the preferable methods of drug delivery due to its convenience, ease of administration and a more effective medication system than other drug delivery systems in terms of patient s compliance. However, not all drugs are of same solubility; some poorly soluble hydrophobic drug often generates certain complexities in formulation development as well as other clinical research. As a result, increasing the dose and higher administration frequency of these poorly soluble drugs may not compensate for the therapeutic dose of the drug. Therefore, to effectively utilize the therapeutic efficacy of the drug, enhancement of solubility and dissolution profile can be a promising approach. 1.1 Techniques available to enhance solubility: The solubility of a solute can be defined as the maximum amount of solute dissolving in a specific quantity of solvent at a specified temperature. To improve the solubility of poorly soluble drugs, numerous techniques are available which can be categorized in three basic approaches: 1. Traditional Techniques 2. Newer and Novel Techniques 3. Accordingly, the market price would result in decreased future earnings, EPS, and the firm value of Linear. The number of outstanding shares, instead of the price, will decrease. While the price of stock would increase just as the amount of cash paid out to repurchase the outstanding stocks. It is important that in both cases, earnings and earnings per share before the payment are not affected. 3. About the dividend rate Firms judge the rate of dividend initiations by earnings. However, simply put, if dividend rate changes depending on the change of earnings, the fluctuation of dividend will increase. This would not be good. Because cutting dividends means uncertain future cash flows. If a company cuts dividend rate, shareholders will need higher opportunity costs of capital, as a result stock prices will go down. Thus, Linear has retained constantly increasing dividend rates in small amounts. Under the theoretical assumptions such as M M, there is no difference whether firms pay out dividends or not. This number is about 100 times the amount of mass shootings in Australia since their gun restricting bill was passed in 1996. This raises the discussion whether or not changing the American gunlaws would help bring down the total of injuries and fatalities. In 1791, the second amendment was added to the American constitution, stating that every US citizen had the right to bear and own a gun. This is still the case in modern day America. In fact an 18 year old cannot buy any alcohol, but does have the possibility to walk in a store and buy a gun, often without any license or experience. It is likely that when this amendment is abolished the average American citizen is more safe from mass shootings and gun violence. According to Nelson Lund, professor at the George Mason University of Law, people would not feel safe seeing that they would find it more difficult to protect their homes and family without the security of a firearm. Essay on The Raise of the West The rise of the west in the past two to three hundred years has coincided with the rise in the popularity of democratic governments in the west, such as the US and France. This can be seen as evidence showing that democracy stimulates economic growth since democratisation often precedes growth. Others may argue that the reverse is true and economic growth is the driving forces behind democratization in the west. For example, the French revolutionwas partly caused by the rise of the middle classBourgeoisie in the 18th century demanding more rights than the ancien regime could offer. Democracy here is measured with the Freedom House measure of democracy which ranges from 0 to 1 with 0 representing a complete totalitarian government and 1 representing a full representative democracy. The estimation of 0.28 is fairly significant since an increase in 0.1 point of the index leads to a prediction of an increase in 0.248% of growth rate. This increase in predicted growth is a result in the better economic freedom and rule of law that democracy can offer.
