The Interview Session That I Had With Pastor
This paper will discuss my reflection to the interview session that I had with Pastor
Stephen Paulsen. Stephen Paulsen is the high school Pastor at Venture Christian
Church. He has been a high school Pastor for about 13 years. Stephen has started his
ministry at Venture Christian Church since August 2014. Before working at Venture,
He began his first ministry in serving the high schoolstudents in South Carolina. He
has four kids (three boys and one daughter) and a beautiful wife. This paper will
reflect on the answers that I got during the interview, according to his experience in
his ministry.
The Next Generation Ministry Stephen s tasks for his ministry at Venture is to lead
and pastoring the high school students that come to this church. He started to
respond to God s calling in his life by taking seminary in Moody Bible Institute,
Chicago. He noticed the calling of God in his life since he was young. Another task
in being the high school student Pastor at Venture is to be involved in the outreach
ministry on the weekdays. His vision for the ministry is to see these students grew in
their relationship with Jesus since they were little. Stephen believes in the power of a
healthy community. That is why, besides the regular service on Sunday at 11 am,
they also have a small group meeting for the students every Tuesday. The meeting will
focus more on building a deeper relationship with the students by spending the time
with them, to have a fellowship, and get to

Although most have come and gone with, either through battles or nature, they
still amaze many scholars. The Statue of Zeus, the Colossus of Rhodes, the Light
House of Alexandria, and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon have kept the minds of
many filled with imagination and wonder of what the ancient world was like. The
Statue of Zeus was is truly an amazing sculpture and was arguably the most famous

Boy Gas Lift Case Study
Well economics were viewed to assess and justify a poor boy gas lift/ plunger lift
install on the potential candidate. WI and NRI were taken into account as well. It
was found that TRE maintains a 93.1 % WI on the plunger candidate with a NRI
of 69.8 %. The NRI to WI ratio is found to be 75 %. Common NRI/WI ratios range
from 75% to 87.5%, so this well would fall at the lower end of the spectrum. The

The well (BOE 16 16) is deep and it is thought that the plunger will need extra
assistance to operate properly. It is important to note that there is a high pressure
line next to the well. The current set up will allow for an easier and cheaper poor
boy gas lift installation. In addition, a poor boy gas lift system will allow chemical
and foamer injection into the well as needed. These injections would help correct
the salt build up issues that the candidate well experiences. The idea is to try a
poor boy gas lift before installing a plunger lift. This may be a case where a plunger
lift is not needed in conjunction with a poor boy gas lift. Judging from Cygnet and
discussions with field personnel, swabbing typically occurs every couple of weeks
on the plunger candidate but has decreased to once a month since March of 2015. See
Fig. 1 for current Cygnet data. The current cost for swabbing this well is about $4,000
monthly. Additionally, the well is offline and not producing during these treatment
and swabbing periods, which amounts to 1 3 days per month. Cygnet analytics
suggest shut in times of 24 to 72 hours each time swabbing occurs. Each time shut ins

Summary Of Bury Me In A Free Land
I choose to analyze and discuss the poem Bury Me in a Free Land by Frances Ellen
Watkins Harper . The poet, Frances Harper was an African American who
participated in a movement to abolish the slave trade. A key reason for the choice is
that the poem is indulging. The poet portrays her message in a vivid manner;
expressing her inner thoughts and feelings clearly.
Being a student in the 21st century, interacting at a personal level with individuals
from different races and cultural practices on a daily basis, I strongly believe in
equality. No human has the right to enslave any other either willingly or forcefully.
My interpretation of the poem
In my understanding, the poem pre dominates the theme horrors of slavery . The poet,
in a clear tone, illustrates the lives of slaves and the challenges they go through.
And the mother s shriek of wild despair , And I saw her babes torn from her breast
and If I saw young girls from their mother s arms are some examples of indignities
that the poet describes. The persona states that she could not rest in a place where
people were forcefully subjected to any form of indignities. She uses statements

and much more to elaborate her dislike against slavery; the abuse and terror.

Spain provoked by many things. Spain, at the time,was controlling Cuba. In 1895,

Example Of Conformity Essay
Earlier this semester, some friends and I were talking loudly and before we were
about to step outside we saw other Midshipmen were standing at attention. Though
we did not directly hear colors, we recognized from the people around us that we
should also come to attention. Conformity in this case was good because if we did
not come to attention then it could have been a sign of disrespect even if it was not
intentional. Though there is no way to make this example better, I think
conformity in situations outside of this example can cause people to lose their

Before college, one friend in particular was not a drinker, and he was a straight A
student. After joining the fraternity, he was told to go drink at bars with his
fraternity on weeknights or else they would drop him. As a result of going out too
much, my friends grades fell hard and he was struggling in college. He did not

When talking about the troubles that people face and the issues that society faces, it
is important to understand that they both go hand in hand. The private troubles that
one faces make contribute to the public issues that the society faces, and vice versa.
Growing up there were a few significant events that would be considered my private
troubles yet public issues contuted to making the troubles. Growing up I was a fine
example of mills theory Neither the life of an individual nor the history of a society
can be understood without understanding both (Mills 3). One clear example of a
troublethat I have face in my life is the suicide of my papa. He was dealing with his
personal troubles to keep our family afloat, finish his education, struggling with
internal self esteem, and PTSD from the military. His PTSD would show up in the
way that he would treat my mom and me. I would consider this a personal trouble
because it what he felt internally and what my mom and went through during his
death. My family went through many rough times with keeping food on the tables
and my papa s PTSD affecting our everyday life. Finally, one day it seemed as if
hiss PTSD took the very last thing, him. He faced many troubles as a child but it
wasn t until he joined the military and got deployed that the troubles stared to hit
home. Because he was struggling with providing for the family he felt less than,

Prohibition was an important force in state and local politics from the 1840s through
the 1930s. The political forces involved were ethnoreligious in character, as
demonstrated by numerous historical studies.[9] Prohibition was demanded by the
dries primarily pietistic Protestant denominations, especially the Methodists, Northern
Baptists, Southern Baptists, Presbyterians, Disciples of Christ, Congregationalists,
Quakers and Scandinavian Lutherans. They identified saloons as politically corrupt
and drinking as a personal sin. They were opposed by the wets primarily liturgical
Protestants (Episcopalians, German Lutherans) and Roman Catholics, who
