Introduction: The purpose of this lab is to find the unknown concentration of Cu+2
by comparing the solution to a set of standard concentrations, different known
concentrations, which are prepared by diluting approximately 2.5 grams of copper
(II) sulfate pentahydrate. A concentrationis the amount of solute relative to the
volume of a solution, the more solute the more concentrated the solution will be.
Concentrations are reported using molarity (M) which is the moles of the solute by
the volume of solution in liters. A spectrophotometer called the Spec 20 and the Beer
Lambert law is used to determine the concentrations of solutions. The Spec 20 is used
to measure the amount of light that passes through a solution. This is measured in
terms of absorbance which is the amount of light a solution absorbs or transmittance
which is the amount of light that passes through a solution. The relationship between
absorbance and transmittance is A= log T or A=2 log (%T).
The Beer Lambert Law establishes the quantitative relationship between absorbance
and a solution s concentration.

My Greatest Moment In School
One of the greatest moments happened when I was in the eighth grade. It was
when I started wearing the hijab for sure and I lost a lot of my friends. I felt really
lonely and I started sitting by myself during lunch for the first time ever. I stopped
getting invited to birthday parties and whatnot. One day during my English class
two of my friends that weren t talking to me at the time came up to me and told me
they supported my decision. They explained to me how hard it was for them
because they ve never seen me with the hijab, but they also wanted to try it
because it was new to them. My English teacher, Mrs. Fernald overheard us talking
and said: why don t you bring us hijabs tomorrow, we ll wear it with you . I was

International. I volunteered at medical camps, annual polio immunization
programs and free clinics in Bhimavaram, a town with limited access to public

amazed at how they could manage a broad range of medical conditions and patient

I already mentioned how Hemingway leaves out the reason for the main character
being in the hospital. Other details that are sorely missed in the story are what
period this story is placed in, backstories for Luz and the main character, and why
Luz left the main character. Also, the jumping through events sporadically causes

details cause confusion, but also, the way things are worded in the story puzzles the

heart rate in girls and boys compared to their scared heart rate. What was done to
test the variable (heart rate) was I got each person in a room alone and they

The eight hour a day conditioning, the five a.m. workouts, the strict diet, the intense
focus, the missing out on important life milestones. These are all apart of the life of
a professional athlete. These careers take many years of impossible training and
dedication, but what if a pill could reduce the amount of time spent in the gym.
Throughout their careers, Lance Armstrong, Jose Canseco, and Marion Jones all used
personal enhancement devices to try and achieve the American Dream of personal
wealth and success, but ultimately lost all of their accomplishments due to laws

During the investigation of Armstrong, the USADA released its one thousand page
report, with affidavits from eleven former teammates who said that they and Lance
had used performance enhancing drugs (Hall). These affidavits proved that during
the multiple Tour De Frances that Armstrong and the US Postal Team won, most
everyone on the team had used some kind of steroid. During his interview with
Oprah, Armstrong admitted that as the leader of the team, and the leader leads by
