Bicycling is a low impact exercise that mainly utilizes the lower extremeties that
can be beneficial to people ranging from a youthful child to an elderly individual.
Using a pedal to ride a bike on a regular basis can increase muscle strength and
flexibility (Better Health Channel, 2015). There are two different stages, the Power
phase and the Recovery phase. To better understand these phases imagine a clock,
most of the power happens between the 12 and 5 o clock position of the pedal
stroke. This is when a majority of the primary muscles are activated. Hip flexion,

the day and worked for the rest, this allowed them to earn a living in society as

Alfred Hitchcock was an amazing director and his films have lived on and are still
thriving today due to the techniques he used in his films and the way he created
them. He was known for taking the least probable scenarios and turning them into a

At first the scene is comedic, that is until the man from across the courtyard leaves
his house at 2 a.m. We see Jeff s watch as the man comes in and out of his
apartment 3 times. Each time, the audience watch as Thorwald (the man) carries a
large briefcase with him. Long shots and canning are used to mimic Jeff s gaze as he
follows thethorwald s progress. This makes the audience feel suspicious and confused
as to why someone would leave their apartment so many time in one night.
Too keep them a bit distracted, there are also individual scenes going in the other
apartments so that the audience don t have time to dwell on their suspicion. All is
dark except for a couple of houses which also gives the scene as sinister twist since
at the start it was colorful but now it is dark and the camera is not quite focused.
Also, the cuts and fades in this scene are very unpredictable and unsatisfying,
because, as we are looking through Jeff s eyes, he constantly falls asleep which then
prevents us from seeing any more of what happens as the scene fades to darkness.

Technology is highly prevalent and accessible now more than ever, so much so that
the present is called the Age of Information by many. However, a significant portion
of schools around the world still rely on the old style lecture method, detract of the
utilization of many modern technological advancements. A citing of the National

classrooms had at least one computer at hand. However, a mere 40% of teachers

Oliver Road Survey
On 03/08/2017 Deputies were dispatched to the area of 120th Ave and Oliver Road
for a traffic complaint. The reporting party advised a vehicle was parked near the
tracks and when a train approached three occupants got out of their vehicle and
stood in the roadway. Other deputies were en route to this call when another call
came out and other units were needed elsewhere. After finishing with my current
assignment I responded to this call. At approximately 16:43 hours I arrived in the
area of 120th Ave and Oliver Road. Once I turned east I saw a blue truck parked in
the roadway. As I approached the vehicle I noticed three people sitting the
guardrail to the railroad crossing arm. I approached the three and asked them to
step away from the tracks and towards me. The three did so without hesitation. A
male, who I know from previous encounters as Richard Wayne Hamilton, asked
why the Sheriff s Office was called when they weren t doing anything wrong. I
explained to Richard that his vehicle was blocking the lane of travel and when I
approached they were trespassing on railroad property. Richard stated he was not
trespassing as the group had been given permission by BNSF Police given that they
were not parked on the tracks and were clear of the tracks as trains were traveling

Irene stated her son Billy has mental issues and is highly fixated on trains so in
their spare time she picks Billy up and takes him out to watch trains. I explained to
Irene that I can appreciate their liking of trains they cannot trespass on railroad
property. Irene told me they have several spots they go to and have spoke with BNSF
Police who gave them permission to be in the area as long as they were not parked
on the tracks or messing with any BNSF

Canada s North is often seen as the country s national identity. In actuality, it stems far
beyond the isolated land of picturesque vistas used to often describe Canada s rugged
landscape. The lived Canadian environment reflects a regional perspective that does

of Indigenous peoples to the land they have occupied for centuries, a place where they

Historically, the national psyche of the Territorial North uses the region to define the
country to citizens and the world, with 80% of Canadians linking their national
identity to the North (Cric Papers 4). Canadians have come to see the North as an
idea, not [a] location; a myth, a promise, a destiny (Francis 152). The North serves as
a land of imagination and a physical challenge for adventurers, epitomizing the North
as a romanticized region (Francis 154) which links the landscape and environment to
an imagined sense of Canadian culture and identity. Beyond the depths of the
