Overpopulation Is Not An Issue
Overpopulation is not an issue many people in developing countries face at this point in time. Put
simply, overpopulation is the condition of having a population so dense that it causes
environmental deterioration, an impaired quality of life, or a population crash (Merriam Webster).
It should not be taken lightly because it cannot be reversed in a short time period. Changes must be
made gradually so that future generations do not suffer consequences that current generations have
place upon them. It will be important to think about this theme in the future because of the issues it
may bring up, namely food shortages or lack of other natural resources humans need to survive.
There are various reason why overpopulation is occurring. One is due to the overall decline in
death rate on the planet. The discovery of agriculture by our ancestors was one factor that provided
them with the ability to sustain nutrition without hunting and, in essence, there was a large drop in
injury or death because of the fact ( Overpopulation: Causes ). This led to the first imbalance of
both the birth and death rate ( Overpopulation: Causes ). Another reason overpopulation is
occurring is due to the advances humans have made in medicine. After the industrial revolution,
technological advances and science was able to better produce food and prevent diseases (
Overpopulation: Causes ). In similar fashion, immigration and the lack of family planning also
contribute to

Gender And Cultural Anthropology
It s incredible to discover humanity s evolution overtime. How cultures have developed and
impacted society. Both the social and applied aspects of cultural anthropology seek to discover
humanity s cultural origins and progression, in addition to resolving global issues. Looking at how
sex and gender influences culture, how art provides insight into cultures beliefs, and how global
problems can be improved or possibly resolved with the applied science of anthropologycan perhaps
sustain humanity s future and acceptance of cultural differences.
A social aspect of anthropology is the observation of cultures and how their characteristics are
influenced by the biological and implied roles between genders. Physical differences between
men and women would seem to dictate that men are designed for hard labor and protectors
while women s physicality makes them suitable for child bearing and natural nurturers. It seems
the advancement of cultural societies also plays a role in how gender roles are defined and
interpreted. Ember maintains, Less complex societies, however, seem to approach more equal
status for males and female in a variety of areas of life. (Ember, 2015, p. 208) Could it not be said

The Sacred Language of Toni Morrison Essay
The Sacred Language of Toni Morrison
Toni Morrison makes a good point when, in her acceptance speech upon receiving the Nobel
Prize in Literature, she says, Narrative . . . is . . . one of the principal ways in which we absorb
knowledge (7). The words we use and the way in which we use them is how we, as humans,
communicate to each other our thoughts, feelings, and actions and therefore our knowledge of the
world and its peoples. Knowledge is power. In this way, our language, too, is powerful.
In her acceptance speech, Morrison tries to communicate the idea that we must be careful with how
we use our words. She analogizes the use of language to the life of a metaphoric bird in a tale of a
wise, old, blind ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Throughout her speech, Toni Morrison works towards defining and supporting this thesis of
responsibility. It is our responsibility, as users of words, to make language thrive. Elizabeth Fox
Genovese has a similar goal, but takes a different approach in her essay The Claims of a Common
Culture: Gender, Race, Class and the Canon. She speaks on the use and composition of the canon
taught in humanities classes. Her idea is that the canon of today is much too one sided and does
not include the influence of the several different cultures, peoples, and ideas that make up our
society. She says that with respect to representativeness, the canon fails woefully. It represent[s] a
small, sometimes minute, portion of the elite, which itself constitute[s] a statistical minority of the
population (Fox Genovese 19). In this abstract way, Fox Genovese is reiterating Morrison s words
that what we say, and how we say it (or teach it), or what we fail to say (as in the canon taught
today) is monumentally influencing and impactful upon others.
If we are not aware of the words that come out of our mouths due to lack of thought or attention,
we all suffer and we are all at fault: When language dies, out of carelessness, disuse, indifference,
and absence of esteem, or killed by fiat, . . . all users and makers are accountable for its demise
(Morrison 14 15). The standards of society are changing and with them the

Is The American Dream True Essay
The American Dream is an idea that was crucial to the foundation of the United states and what it
meant to be an American . This dream is the belief that anybody can come to America and have life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It also implies that everyone can have equal opportunities to
find success and independence. Though the perception of this dream has been warped throughout
time, the true
American dream of achieving one s own idea of happiness is still attainable today.
The idea of the American dream was first introduced in the Declaration of Independence, which
was written by the nation s founding fathers. They based the declaration and the foundation of
this country on the revolutionary idea that each person s desire to pursue happiness was not just
self indulgence (Amadeo). The idea that these desires are a part of the unalienable rights of life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These beliefs also founded the basic ideas for the American
dream. A dream of having the freedom to find happiness in whatever way each person defines it.

Essay on Ethical Issues with Social Media
Current Ethical Issues with Social Media
People are increasingly sharing their lives online through social networking sites with little
concern for who may be viewing their information. This has become an issue in current times and
is up for debate based on the ethical issues associated with Social Media. People don t realize
joining a social network is like joining a community. As any community in real life, your business
has a place in the community but should not invade one s privacy. Social networking is one of the
most popular methods apart from forum marketing that is available to Internet users today. Places
like MySpace and Facebook among others have gone from just social interaction spaces to a part
time marketing program as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is no legitimate appeal beyond them. That which produces the greatest amount of happiness
is morally obligatory and nothing else.
Legal Perspective
In fact, the principle applies not only to morals but also to legislation. The purpose of laws is to
maximize the total happiness of the community. Most ethics questions about the use of technology
can be adequately answered by existing ethics rules without regard to medium or application.
On a more fundamental level, most of the ethical pitfalls related to social networking can be
prevented by a little forethought and exercise of common sense, without regard to ethics rules.
The qualities of social networking which are so potentially problematic for lawyers are its
immediacy, its accessibility, and its permanency. As a result, like all users of social media, lawyers
can react to a situation instantaneously and publicly, with an online posting that will remain on the
internet in some form forever. Instead of sober reflection, social media encourages a reactionary
and emotional post. Instead of one on one communication with a colleague or friend, social media
encourages a broadcast to an expansive audience. Instead of ethereal and temporary
communication, social media encourages an indelible post. You can get yourself into serious
trouble by tweeting an emotional reaction to a judge s adverse ruling from your iPhone as you are
walking out of the courthouse, instead of

Racism, Sexism, and Sexuality in M. Butterfly
The show and the theory are directly related by several points that have already been previously
stated. The stereotypes mentioned in M. Butterfly are direct representations of the stereotypes
mentioned in the theory. Though M. Butterfly is a major piece that has been directly known for
its examples, other shows are known for such examples as well. The highly profitable
reincarnation of different version of the Butterfly story, from David Belasco s Madame Butterfly to
Alain Boublil and Claude Michel Schonberg s Miss Saigon (1989), might well embody a long line
of Western misrepresentation of Asians, perpetuating a damaging fantasy of submissive Orientals,
self erasing women, and asexual, contemptible men (Lee 13). Having more... Show more content on

Size is a physical aspect that could be related to the person s country of origin. Because such
features were mentioned in M. Butterfly, this makes more proof of the show s relation to the
theory of Orientalism. This show and topic could be seen as important to us today because it can
help us face some of the current issues going on in today s society. One example would be the
protests regarding homosexuality. Song was told there was no homosexuality in China despite
his apparent relationship with another man, otherwise known as Gallimard. The gay and lesbian
citizens are becoming to be more open about their sexualities which would be a representation of
the opposite of Gallimard s feelings at the end of the show. He was trying to hide from the fact
that he was in love with a man for the entire time, though he thought he was with a woman.
Because of his previous feelings he was struggling with the thoughts of possibly being gay and
coping with the deceit. This show can show the results of trying to store such strong thoughts
away and trying to hide from them. The results of Gallimard s heartbreak and his bad way of
handling his grief, was killing himself. It was most likely more of a representation of the end of
Madame Butterfly because of the Japanese suicide method and a shout out to the Orientalist ideas
behind the show, but it could be seen to have a different representation that wasn t

Women And Domestic Marriage In The Victorian Period
The Victorian Period was the era of British Monarch; Queen Victoria, in this era women had
extremely limited right s. Women were not giving the choice to vote, sue or own any property. In
addition to that, they lost ownership of their wages, all of their physical belongings, and every
other cash they were able to generate once they were married. In fact, once women got married they
legally became property to their husbands, giving them ownership over their body. Meaning that
they had the right to use their wives body for: children, any sexual activity and/or domestic labor.
Therefore, their mutual matrimonial consent became a contract of women giving themselves to

The majority of women in that period did not have the option to decide whether they wanted to
get married or not, it was a necessity in order to survive. Once these women were married it was
extremely difficult, if not impossible, to get divorced. Husbands could be having affairs with
other women, or abusing their wives, and still divorce was considered a social taboo. As a matter
of fact, many authors from this era used to address social issues, like the degradation of wives, in
their writing. Most of the authors that wrote pro feminist books, novels and/or articles were
females, yet there were a few male authors like: George Gissing, George Meredith and Grant Allen,
who also started writing about women s issues and their struggles.
The Odd Woman a novel by; George Gissing, talks about the roles of women in society such as
marriage, morals and the early feminist movement in the Victorian Period. Most middle class
women during the Victorian era, married by the time they were 25, but the ideal age for a woman
to commit was 20. The novel s title is derived from women in that era whom were left out after all
other eligible men and women were paired up in marriage. In the novel, it can be inferred that their

Understanding Clinical Decision Support System
Understanding Clinical Decision Support System, Its Origin and the Changing Face
The Era has begun where a tremendous amount of data and silos of information are being
generated. The websites, blogs, the electronic health record are all jam packed with information.
Posts from Facebook, tweets from twitters, interactive websites are a rich source of information. If
one can imagine, information has as much as widespread as the universe. However, what happens
to the heap of information generated? Do we use the information to convert into knowledge and
apply it to our daily life? Are they helping physicians, patients and other clinical staff in their
decision making? The integration of all available information has resulted in Clinical Decision
Support System (CDSS). This system is invented to help the physicians and other clinical staff in
decision making process. But the question again is are they comfortable using CDSS. What if the
users could write decision rule which would be their own personal experience. If they could write
their own rule will it increase their acceptability? The article answers the questions raised and
provides a brief description of a CDSS developed by the Regenstrief Institute, which is contributing
to an altogether different face of CDSS. This, if successfully launched can result in better
acceptability among users, which can solve other user related or initiated difficulties.
CDSS are basically formulated with the intention to assist

Essay On Stonewall
General Thomas Stonewall Jackson is best known for being a war hero and one of the South s
most outstanding figures of the Civil War. His war tactics, leadership, and success in battle
cemented him as one of the most significant generals of early American history. Thomas was
born on January 21, 1824, in Clarksburg, Virginia. Throughout his life he faced much adversity
especially within his family with his older sister and father passing when he was of young age.
In his late teens (1842) he enrolled at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He graduated in
1846 after finding his way academically with much hard work. As Jackson was leaving West

The first Battle of Bull Run (1861), also known as the Battle of First Manassas is a prime
example of that success. During the battle Jackson rushed troops forward to close a gap in the

Stonewall , according to a colleague his troops stood against the Union forces like a stone wall .
General Barnard Bee also stated after watching what Jackson and his troop were doing Look, men,
there is Jackson standing like a stone wall! The way he approached battle with the strategy and
relentlessness that was so common for him made him successful in battle. General Stonewall
Jackson is a man of many things, an insignificant part of America s early history is something that
he not. The way he used his tactics in battle, the way he took leadership of his troops and the task
at hand, and his success in battle are all ways why his significance should be talked about. Never
has the U.S. seen a more tactical general and a strong leader to boot. For all these reasons and
many more General Thomas Stonewall Jackson should be considered one of the America s more

Mi Brain Design Techniques
3. Proposed Technique
Intuitively, if we can precisely locate the tumor region in the MRI image and recognize the
corresponding shape as well, then we will obtain a high performance algorithm, also if we can
take only a few features from this region, then we will obtain an algorithm with a low complexity
compared with the previous algorithms. This section describes an overview of all fundamental
processes in our brain diseases classification system. These processes are generally referred to as
image preprocessing, image segmentation, feature extraction and classification respectively see

3.2 Image Segmentation The proposed model performs the segmentation process using clustering
method which is considered an efficient segmentation technique. Clustering is the process of
classifies objects into different groups and classes. In clustering the data is classified according
to a common features shared between the object and the target class. The process of portioning
data into a number of subsets is often referred to as supervised learning or clustering. K means is
one of clustering techniques designed and used in many approaches [4]. K means is generally
used to determine the natural groupings of pixels present in an image. K means is considered to be
one of the best unsupervised clustering and classification techniques, also it s considered a very fast
technique compared with other algorithms. The aim of using K means is to classify each pixel to it
s one or more data classes by calculating the distance between the input pixel with the other pixels in
the clustering window. Fig.5 shows the result of applying the clustering technique on an MRI
image containing tumor and the resulted image showing the image after extracting the tumor
region only without any noise or other regions.

Romantic Hero Longfellow
Romantic Hero Essay Henry Wadsworth Longfellow(1807 1882) defined, what is considered
today, the true Romantic hero. He associated the Romantic hero with unique characteristics. These
characteristics were not found in any other type of hero. In his poem A Psalm of Life , Longfellow
defined a Romantic herois while the protagonist in his poem Excelsior gives an example of a
Romantic hero. According to Longfellow the Romantic hero must be a nonconformist, a man of
action, must act in the present, and above all contribute to society.
In order for a hero to be a Romantic hero, he must be an individual. One cannot follow the crowd
and be a Romantic hero. Longfellow urged readers to be not like dumb, driven cattle (psalm of
life 5. 3) and to Be a hero in the strife! (5. 4). Longfellow demonstrated this using Exelsior by

Washington Irving, author of Rip van winkle, illustrates the Romantic hero a little differently then
Longfellow. Although there are some differences, the overall impression the characters give is

Washington Irving illustrated Rip, the protagonist in Rip van Winkle, as a very individualistic
person, who acted in the present and initially did not contribute to society. He did not inspire others
to act in the present, although he did end up achieving greatness and finding his place in society.
Using Rip Van Winkle, Irving demonstrated the qualities he believed a Romantic hero must possess.
The first qulity Irving associated with a Romantic hero was being an individual. Rip clearly did
not follow the social norm of men in the village. While all other men went to work, Rip, would
sit on a wet rock( Irving or assist a neighbor . He was willing to help anyone but his family. If Rip

Swedish Mail Order Brides
Sweden as a country is very rigid about its principles and ensures people follow them too, the
same holds true for Swedish Mail Order Brides as well. The whole idea of this system has been
existent from the early days and it has spread like a house on fire from the United States to the
European continents now. However the first bride hailed from England where the English women
went to another continent altogether to get married to men. Swedish Mail Order Brides work on
the same lines and the idea although originating from the English it has now become a very
important part of the European continent.
The primary reason for which Swedish Mail Order Brides became so popular in Europe is
because most men worked there as farmers in the primitive days with very few women around.
The best way to advertise about these brides was by publishing ads in newspapers declaring
interest in searching for a life partner. In fact at that time there were a lot of rumors about women
running away to get married to ranchers or farmers, which is why services like this became so
highly popular as these women did not want to take any risk when it came to finding their soul
mate. The other countries where brides are very common include Latin America, Russia, Africa,
Asia and Philippines. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In Moises Kaufman s, The Laramie Project the under lying theme of the novel is people are afraid

that homosexuals have to live in there own society. The juxtaposition of anti gay demonstrations
sparked by religion at a homosexual s funeral, and even the physical setting is related to why
people are afraid of change. Whether it is start by homophobia, religion, or opression, people are

you can see that Phelps and his followers are afraid of change. Fueled by Phelp s religion that

Essay on The current war in Afghanistan and why it must end
War has been one of the most constant occurrences in America s history. According to the
Congressional Research Service [1], US armed forces have been offensively deployed for all but 24
of the last 213 years. Yet, of these engagements, no war has lasted longer than the current war in
Afghanistan. The length of this commitment has not matched the results.
Conventional American forces must be withdrawn from Afghanistanbecause they are only
exacerbating the problem, and the fight with the Taliban isn t going anywhere. 1,848 servicemen

Most recently, on April 10th, the top US and NATO commander, Gen. David Petraeus, told
reporters that, There is no question that al Qaeda has had a presence in Afghanistan and continues
to have a presence generally assessed at less than 100 or so. [5]
The goal of our deployment in Afghanistan that has been repeatedly announced by the White House
and the Pentagon is to prevent a return to power of the Taliban and with it the restoration of a safe
haven for al Qaeda. Shortly after he took office, President Barack Obama announced a surge of
more than 30,000 fresh troops into Afghanistan. In making the announcement he set clear
objectives, which he reiterated in his June 22nd speech to the nation: To refocus on al Qaeda;
reverse the Taliban s momentum; and train Afghan Security Forces to defend their own country. [6]
The first piece of that, as Gen. Petraeus and others repeatedly admit, has been secured. Thus our
presence, according to the commander in chief, is designed to reverse the Taliban s momentum and
to train Afghan forces to maintain that fight against the Taliban.
In this regard, our presence in Afghanistan does us no good anymore we gain no advantage from
being there. As the former British Ambassador to Afghanistan, Sir Sherard Cowper Coles, told the

Hume
Q. Explain Humes criticisms of the cosmological argument (25 marks)
The cosmological argument is based on the principle of causation. In particular, it is put forward
that any existent thing must have a cause or reason for its existence and that there cannot be more
in the effect than there is in the cause. Hume challenges these assumptions in his Dialogues.
There are three main critiques that Hume makes of the argument. Firstly, he has general concerns
about the way it is structured, and believes that this structure is fallacious. Secondly, he has more
specific concerns related to causation and finally he raises challenges to do with the concepts of
contingency and necessity.
Hume s challenges to the structure of the cosmological ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So the term necessary being makes no sense, any being claimed to exist may or may not exist. In
Hume s own words All existential propositions are synthetic.
Q. To what extent was Hume successful in his critique of the cosmological argument? (10 marks)
Hume makes some very important challenges to the Cosmological argument. One of the key areas
he questions is the argument s dependence upon what Leibniz named, the principle of sufficient
reason. In this principle an adequate explanation must be a total explanation. The universe requires
an explanation of itself as a whole but many would say, as Russell later told Copleston: Then I can
only say that you re looking for something which can t be got, and which one ought not to expect to
get.
Also if we are only entitled to talk about causes when we have had experience of them, then this
argument would seem to be over stretching itself in speculating upon what it cannot know.
On the other hand, there is of course a problem with stopping at a certain point and saying that we
should seek no further explanation, in that it is a basic presupposition of all scientific work.
However, even though a principle of rationality is that we can find an explanation for things, there
is no guarantee that there will be one. So, I think Hume significantly weakens forms of the
argument that depend on the principle of sufficient reason.
However, I think that Hume s criticisms of a necessary being

Brunswick High. Emergency Procedures
Brunswick High
Emergency Procedures are located in the Policies and Procedures section. They are divided into 4
sections: Fire Safety Guidelines, Emergency Drills, Response to a Violent Incident (can be a
student disruption), and a crisis policy. The fire safety guidelines were more about the type of
equipment that could be used in the classroom, while emergency drills were broken into fire drills
and tornado drills.
Similarities and Differences
The similarities between Goodyear Elementary and Brunswick High were the fact that:
Both had a section in the handbook for emergency procedures that included fire drills, tornadoes,
procedures for death, suicide, and major student disruptions/response to violent incidents, and crisis
information
Copies of the Glynn County Emergency Procedure and exit routes are posted in the classrooms, and
Emergency procedures are explained on the first day of school.
While the elementary school provided a short description of their emergency procedures, it stated
that more information could be found in the Crisis Management Plan (also included in the Staff
Handbook). What s strange is that although a crisis management plan has been created, fire drills
were not better described nor mentioned all; not even the sound signal to look for. In the event of a
fire, younger students usually need more attention to care and calm down. Therefore, it would have
been helpful to cover fire procedures more thoroughly. In the high school handbook, the

Family History Reflection
Reflection of My Family History
What can I say about my family? Honestly, hardly know jack shit about my family s history. As
of now, I know that both my Biological parents were born in Puerto Rico. In addition, please be
mindful that the man who is supposedly is my biological father; I did not have a chance to meet
his ass until I was 24 years old. Furthermore, I never would have met this fucking man had it not
been for me calling my Titi Carmen (Aunty Carmen) in Puerto Rico. Before I go too deep into my
family s history, I think it would be best for you guys to get a little bit of my background, my first
family, the streets of New York City.
For starters, I was born and raised in the most violent poverty stricken section of New York City,
The South Bronx. I managed to survive two epidemics, (the crack, and the aids epidemic). I was
born in the early seventies. The Bronx to me looked like a fucking warzone, a vast wasteland,
where it was not uncommon to see the rats roam free amongst the debris of the streets of New
York City; along with the huge water bugs (Cucarachas Grandes), it is what we Ricans in the
hood use to call them. These big ass roaches were disgusting; these motherfuckers had wings on
them too. So them suckers could fly and shit. I cringe as I writing this shit thinking about them
nasty ass disgusting roaches. The shit I had to deal with growing up in this bitch! I still remember,

Physical Geography Of Uruguay
Uruguay Country Profile
Physical Geography
Uruguay is a country in South America. It borders the South Atlantic Ocean, to the west is
Argentina, and northeast is Brazil. To the south it lies opposite to the RГo de la Plata, which is a
wide estuary opening out to the South Atlantic. The capital Montevideo, which is also a major
port, is on the edge of the RГo de la Plata (see Figure one). Uruguay is the smallest Spanish
speaking country in South America. It is a water rich land, and consists of three systems of rivers.
One of these rivers is RГo Uruguay, which forms the border with Argentinaand is bounded by low
banks. The most important of the three rivers, which also happens to be the longest, is RГo Negro.
RГo Negro travels across the northeast of the country to the west, and empties into RГo Uruguay.
Uruguay has plains on the eastern, western, and southern edges. Along with all of the flat plains,
there are ranges of low hills. The highest point in these hilly areas is the Cerro Catedral, located in

Nirvana In The Grunge Era
In the early 1990 s a new genre of music and fashion was born amongst the United States. This new
statement, called Grunge, quickly spread throughout the United States and became a rapidly
growing phenomenon. Nirvana would become the poster child of this culture during the nineties.
Nirvana s front man, Kurt Cobain would empower the grungeera with his strong lyrics, and
dramatic guitar riffs to help popularize this new sound. Before the tragic end of Kurt Cobain,
Nirvanawould help jump start a new genre of Indie rock music, popularize fashion and forever be

I always ask myself this question. Was I really that annoying when I was small? Every time I see
my sister acting out of control. She runs and screams that give you a great big headache. Since I
can barely remember things I did when I was small I asked my parent s many questions. Now let
get started with this chapter that talks about my childhood. Let us start with mom s story. When
I first started school I was really excited. When I first arrived in the classroom, I didn t cry. I was
really surprised when she said that. She told me that my little sister and I were the only children
who didn t cry. My brothers did cry when they first started school. She really didn t know what I
did in school because she wasn t there but she remembers that every time she went to pick me up I
always had a smile on my face. Now it s dad s story time. His story takes place at home. My dad
worked so he didn t really have time to spend with us but when he did he said that I used to make
the biggest disasters that took lots of cleaning up. One time I had baby powder and I accidentally
spilled some powder. Some of the powder fell on my hand, so I blew it off. When I blew it off it
created a big cloud of powder. It was cool to see a cloud of powder fly in the air so I poured all
the powder in my hands and threw it in the air. It was like snow in the hot summer. When my
parents found out what I was doing they put me in the time out corner for 10 minutes for causing a

The Last Colony Of Roanoke
The Last Colony of Roanoke
Five hundred years ago, European explorers landed in North America. After trying to locate a
new route to Asia across the Atlantic Ocean, they found a continent they did not know existed.
Three different groups traveled to the New World, starting in 1584 (Basu, Tanya). The last group
included Gov. John White, he had to return to England to submit his report to the Queen. John
White tried several times to return to Virginia, but it wasn t until a few years later he was finally
able to return to his new home. In 1584, when White was finally able to return, the land was barren
and deserted of people. This baffling revelation began one of the greatest mysteries of all time.

Raleigh sent out two small troops lead by Philip Amadas and Arthur Barlowe to scout out a new
inhabitable area (Horn, James). They arrived on the outer banks a few months later in August,
1585 (Carpenter, Jeannine). They were the first English explorers to set eyes on North Carolina
(The Lost Colony). Within days after Lanes return to Roanoke Island from Weapemeoc, he wrote
historian and geographer Richard Hakluyt that they had: discovered the mainland to be the
goodliest soil under the cope of heaven, so abounding with sweet trees, that bring such sundry
rich and most pleasant gummes, grapes of such greatness, yet wild, as France, Spain nor Italy

island to settle. In another letter he sent to Sir Francis Walsingham, secretary to Queen
Elizabeth, Lane seems to have enclosed a crude map, its legends revealing a great store of fish
and great red grapes very pleasant there (Carpenter, Jeannine). This island was Roanoke, ten miles
long and two and a half miles wide. These were all reasons why the Roanoke colonists would have
been able to establish a long term residence there.
They returned to England a year later with two Natives, Manteo and Wanchese (The Lost Colony).
With them they brought back plentiful information about the new lands they discovered. Among

William Blake s Influence Of Literature
William Blake
William Blake s poetry was heavily influenced by the Christian Bible, which is quite uncommon
for the English Romantic poets. In fact, he is even known as the final religious poet of Britain.
This tendency toward using the Bible in his literature derived from his avid reading of this holy
book during his childhood. There is little information about any other schooling he might have had
outside of reading this book. However, his writing was unique from other Christian writings as he
drew direct influence from the Bible rather than the common church.

William Blake had radical views regarding his society and the politics that governed it. Blake
demonstrated these radical social views by renouncing clothing and thus condoning nudity. In
fact, Blake even stripped off his dress when meeting with his friends in a garden. His radical
political views were demonstrated while arguing with Soldier John Scofield. The soldier claimed
Blake openly spoke bad of the English King as well as expressed views in favor of Napoleon
Bonaparte, the French emperor, thus landing him in a trial where he was charged with sedation, or
the promotion of anti governmental rebellion.

Blake s demonstrated his radical political views when writing Europe. In this sample of writing,
Blake insinuated contempt against King George the III, though without actually referring to the
King himself. Writing such as these spurred rumors of Blake s treasonous remarks against the
King, such as that which was accounted by a soldier from Felpham. These rumors caused Blake to
be charged with treason, though he was freed of charges later.

Immigration And Immigration Reform
Imagine that you are a senior in high school. You are nervous and excited to start the process of
getting a job and attending college. You obtain a couple of job applications and a Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to fill out. Naturally, as you fill out these forms you ask your
parents for your social security number, however, this is the moment you find out that you are
undocumented. Shocked and in disbelief, you can t help to see all your hopes and dreams go down
the drain. Nevertheless, like many other undocumented students, you discover there is still hope for
your situation. For instance, your research leads you to former President Barack Obama s Deferred
Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which protects minors who were brought to this
country illegally as children. Created through executive action in June of 2012, DACA gives young
undocumented immigrants: protection from deportation and a work permit. Subsequently, on
September 5th, 2017, the Trump administration rescinds the DACA policy, and approximately
800,000 young immigrants will become eligible for deportation at the end of six months. Therefore,
the only way to update our immigrationsystem is for Congress to pass immigration reform, which
offers a pathway to citizenship, plus, acknowledge that the 14th Amendment applies to homosexual
conduct and illegal aliens.

The Main Fuctions and Features of The Integumentary System...
The integumentary system is a very important part of living. It consists of the skin and its
accessory organs hair, nails, sebaceous, or oil, glands, and the sudoriferous, or sweat, glands. Your
skin alone weighs more than six pounds and covers more than three thousand square inches. The
skin to me is considered customizable because you can alter it in many different ways. Many
people pierce the skinon the ears, face, navel, and genitalia. They also tattoo their skin with
permanent ink. The five main functions of the integumentary system are protection, regulation,
sensory reception, absorption, and secretion.
The first function of the integumentary system is protection. The skin acts as a protective barrier to

This is because there are millions of nerve endings in the skin that act as sensory receptors. There
are many different sensations you can experience, including pain, hot, cold, pressure, traction, and
many more. Each nerve ending will give you a different sensational experience when the nerve
sends the individual impulse to the brain. When the impulse gets in to the cerebral cortex of the
brain, your body reacts in the appropriate way. If you experience pain, for example, you might cry.
The fourth function of the integumentary system is absorption. The most common use of the
absorption factor is through the use of a transdermal patch. A transdermal patch, not to be
confused with a dermal patch, is a medicated adhesive patch that is placed on the skin to deliver a
certain dose of medication through the skin and in to the bloodstream. An advantage of this
method of intake is the dosage intake is controlled by body heat melting away layers of medication
embedded in the adhesive bandage, which is a time advantage. A disadvantage is a very effective
barrier and sometimes the medication is not absorbed enough to be affective. Transdermal patches
are placed on several parts of the body, depending on what treatment you need. Many transdermal
medications include a type of birth control contraceptive and a medication that prevents motion
sickness. The fifth and final function of the nervous system is secretion. The skin contains millions
of sudoriferous glands

Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close Literary Analysis
One of Foster s most fundamental theories from his book How to Read Literature Like a
Professor is that all stories grow out of other stories and that there s no such thing as a wholly

Foer s novel parallels Salinger s novel in a multitude of ways. In Extremely Loud and Incredibly

Controversy Over the United States Providing Developmental...
Throughout history and present day times, many countries such as Germany, France, and Canada
have provided assistance and aid to underdeveloped countries to help alleviate poverty. The United
States itself issues aid to developing countries which include Israel, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and
Ethiopia; this has been an American practice since 1947 after World War II. During the time period
from 1947 to 1949 the United States, under the Marshall Plan, provided both financial and technical
assistance to Europe and Asia after the war. As a result, Europe was rebuilt both politically and
economically. Today the United States continues to provide aidto underdeveloped countries, helping
them evolve and strengthen their economy. Many Americans believe that America is doing the
right thing in issuing aid, while others hold the opinion that the United States should not issue
aid, and that the issue of money to developing countries needs to stop. On one side of the issue
the supporters of developmental aid believe that the United States is doing more than a great job
by offering economic assistance to countries that need help to develop. These individuals are
aware of the unfortunate poverty levels in many countries abroad. They believe that it is the duty
of the American people to help reduce the poverty levels in countries in which people live with
less than a dollar a day. In fact, some supporters believe that the U.S. is not offering enough support

People s Republic Of China Under Mao
People s Republic of China under Mao The Great Leap Forward was a program designed as an
economic stimulus model heavily focused on industry. Under this economic program, individual
agricultural areas were merged into larger people s communities and many of the peasants were
ordered to work on enormous infrastructure projects and on the manufacture of iron and steel. Most
privatization was banned; personal wealth was confiscated while livestock and farm implements
were brought under collective ownership. Under the Great Leap Forward, Mao mandated the
employment of a variety of unproven and unscientific new agricultural techniques to boost
production. However, due to the diversion of labor to other areas such as steel and infrastructure,
Chinasaw a 15% drop in grain production in 1959 followed by a 10% decline in 1960 and no
recovery in 1961 .
In order to meet government mandated quotas, many state and local officials exaggerated their
respective grain production numbers. Based upon these overstated numbers, party officers had to
order a disproportionately high amount of the true harvest for state consumption, primarily in the
cities and urban areas but also for export. As a result, peasants in rural communities were left with
little food for themselves and from 1959 62, as many as 30 million people starved to death in the
infamous famine known as the Great Chinese Famine . Furthermore, children who became

Indeed, this is a very unique feature that can be used in recognizing the contributions of the film
director in as far as the modern film is concern. From the 1990 s, one would easily categories
Anderson s cinematic style as one that incorporates more quirky comedy and the whimsical motifs
in terms of allowing nostalgia to supremely reign, staging children to have existential importance,
designing families to meet in strangest of the places, incorporation of strange human conversation
and interaction, presentation of art as being more important than any other thing in the world,

People Have Many Ideas About Developing Video Games
Argument People have many ideas about developing video games. Though, I agree with some of
those things up to a point; I disagree when they say that making games will be boring, hard, and
/or repetitive. I am here to say, that is not entirely true. Silas Marner Silas marner appears in the
doorway carrying Godfrey s own child. GOdfrey feels a sudden terror that the woman might not
actually be dead. What can we deduce about Godfrey from his actions/thoughts here? His
fundamental weakness as a person who would rather evade responsibility. He finds he cannot part
with it. Thoughts jumping between hope and fear about the two outcomes of the situation.
Compare Godfrey with Silas here: why is this such a messed up situation?... Show more content on

In the research phase, gathering evidence against your argument will help you refute
counterarguments. What creates your specific style (what separates one of you from another
when it comes to presenting ideas)? A writer s style is what sets his or her writing apart and
makes it unique. Style is the way writing is dressed up (or down) to fit the specific context,
purpose, or audience. Word choice, sentence fluency, and the writer s voice all contribute to the
style of a piece of writing. How a writer chooses words and structures sentences to achieve a
certain effect is also an element of style. Style is not a matter of right and wrong but of what is
appropriate for a particular setting and audience. Why does knowing the purpose of a presentation
help in the process of creating it? Authors and audiences both have a wide range of purposes for
communicating. The importance of purpose in rhetorical situations cannot be overstated. It is the
varied purposes of a rhetorical situation that determine how an author communicates a text and
how audiences receive a text. Rhetorical situations rarely have only one purpose. Purposes for

Deaf Camp
The summer of 2015, I went on a deaf camp titled T.I. Deaf Camp. Short for Teen Insitue Deaf
Camp. Now because i m hard of hearing but I stand out as a deaf person, friends came naturally,
almost as if you was the hottest thing in Cosmo magazine. In other words myself and others was
noticed instantly. Now also I realized that we had some kids who was only partially deaf (not full
deaf) and they had hearingaids on and everything but also they didn t know American Sign
Language, it was so different and weird to work with them and during special events such as team
basketball, volleyball or even during scavenger hunts etc. Both kids who could sign and couldn t

Deaf Culture is a true culture just like any other. It has a language, beliefs, rules for behavior,
traditions, and everything else every other culture has. However, without sign language, there
would be no Deaf Culture. Sign language is the language that ties the culture together. And having
a Deaf culture has significantly impacted the lives of deaf people throughout history. With Deaf
culture, deaf people have a group they can identify with, a place where they are comfortable and
just like everyone else, one where they can have role models, real friends, and join sports

2 Personal Goals
Introduction I will be exploring and distinguishing two personal goals and two professional goals
in relation to developing a strong and resilient mind. We will find methods that would help achieve
these goals. We will be creating scenarios that for each personal goal established and what method
used to achieve that goal.
First personal goal is to pay more attention and ask questions if I do not hear correctly. I may
seem bit off in my own world to say the least but it is nothing of the sort. I do listen; however, I do
not always hear them due to my bad hearing from military service. I do not like annoying people
by asking them to repeat themselves, so I try to simply wing it when possible.

I must be on my game in relation to the details of the project. There is one additional artist who
fails to meet the standards in place in relation to file formats and I get anxious for we are on a
timeline. Instead of being easily overwhelmed and anxious, I step back and reassess the situation. I
breath, smile, and simply correct the issue before the passing deadline comes. By doing this, I
come across grounded, professional, and dealt the situation in a positive manner.
Second professional goal would be more mindful and understanding to the client when trying the
understand there needs. Being a retired graphic shop team leader, I had to deal directly with clients
and try to understand their needs. At times this was no easy task, for a client may not always know
what he/she may want. This can be truly confusing and even annoying.
Methods would be to practice mindfulness, be positive, and gradually offer ideas to him/her to
help the process be easier for both parties (Mercola, 2013). It seems to be easier for the client to
deal with a more laid back, positive, and more mindful representative, for he/she may not know
much of anything with my trade. This would be more welcoming for the client room for ideas
which both parties can reach the intended

  • 2. Overpopulation Is Not An Issue Overpopulation is not an issue many people in developing countries face at this point in time. Put simply, overpopulation is the condition of having a population so dense that it causes environmental deterioration, an impaired quality of life, or a population crash (Merriam Webster). It should not be taken lightly because it cannot be reversed in a short time period. Changes must be made gradually so that future generations do not suffer consequences that current generations have place upon them. It will be important to think about this theme in the future because of the issues it may bring up, namely food shortages or lack of other natural resources humans need to survive. There are various reason why overpopulation is occurring. One is due to the overall decline in death rate on the planet. The discovery of agriculture by our ancestors was one factor that provided them with the ability to sustain nutrition without hunting and, in essence, there was a large drop in injury or death because of the fact ( Overpopulation: Causes ). This led to the first imbalance of both the birth and death rate ( Overpopulation: Causes ). Another reason overpopulation is occurring is due to the advances humans have made in medicine. After the industrial revolution, technological advances and science was able to better produce food and prevent diseases ( Overpopulation: Causes ). In similar fashion, immigration and the lack of family planning also contribute to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Both the social and applied aspects of cultural anthropology seek to discover humanity s cultural origins and progression, in addition to resolving global issues. Looking at how sex and gender influences culture, how art provides insight into cultures beliefs, and how global problems can be improved or possibly resolved with the applied science of anthropologycan perhaps sustain humanity s future and acceptance of cultural differences. A social aspect of anthropology is the observation of cultures and how their characteristics are influenced by the biological and implied roles between genders. Physical differences between men and women would seem to dictate that men are designed for hard labor and protectors while women s physicality makes them suitable for child bearing and natural nurturers. It seems the advancement of cultural societies also plays a role in how gender roles are defined and interpreted. • 4. The Sacred Language of Toni Morrison Essay The Sacred Language of Toni Morrison Toni Morrison makes a good point when, in her acceptance speech upon receiving the Nobel Prize in Literature, she says, Narrative . . . is . . . one of the principal ways in which we absorb knowledge (7). The words we use and the way in which we use them is how we, as humans, communicate to each other our thoughts, feelings, and actions and therefore our knowledge of the world and its peoples. Knowledge is power. In this way, our language, too, is powerful. In her acceptance speech, Morrison tries to communicate the idea that we must be careful with how we use our words. She analogizes the use of language to the life of a metaphoric bird in a tale of a wise, old, blind ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Throughout her speech, Toni Morrison works towards defining and supporting this thesis of responsibility. It is our responsibility, as users of words, to make language thrive. Elizabeth Fox Genovese has a similar goal, but takes a different approach in her essay The Claims of a Common Culture: Gender, Race, Class and the Canon. She speaks on the use and composition of the canon taught in humanities classes. Her idea is that the canon of today is much too one sided and does not include the influence of the several different cultures, peoples, and ideas that make up our society. She says that with respect to representativeness, the canon fails woefully. It represent[s] a small, sometimes minute, portion of the elite, which itself constitute[s] a statistical minority of the population (Fox Genovese 19). In this abstract way, Fox Genovese is reiterating Morrison s words that what we say, and how we say it (or teach it), or what we fail to say (as in the canon taught today) is monumentally influencing and impactful upon others. If we are not aware of the words that come out of our mouths due to lack of thought or attention, we all suffer and we are all at fault: When language dies, out of carelessness, disuse, indifference, and absence of esteem, or killed by fiat, . . . all users and makers are accountable for its demise (Morrison 14 15). • 5. Is The American Dream True Essay The American Dream is an idea that was crucial to the foundation of the United states and what it meant to be an American . This dream is the belief that anybody can come to America and have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It also implies that everyone can have equal opportunities to find success and independence. Though the perception of this dream has been warped throughout time, the true American dream of achieving one s own idea of happiness is still attainable today. The idea of the American dream was first introduced in the Declaration of Independence, which was written by the nation s founding fathers. They based the declaration and the foundation of this country on the revolutionary idea that each person s desire to pursue happiness was not just self indulgence (Amadeo). The idea that these desires are a part of the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These beliefs also founded the basic ideas for the American dream. Essay on Ethical Issues with Social Media Current Ethical Issues with Social Media People are increasingly sharing their lives online through social networking sites with little concern for who may be viewing their information. This has become an issue in current times and is up for debate based on the ethical issues associated with Social Media. People don t realize joining a social network is like joining a community. As any community in real life, your business has a place in the community but should not invade one s privacy. There is no legitimate appeal beyond them. That which produces the greatest amount of happiness is morally obligatory and nothing else. Legal Perspective In fact, the principle applies not only to morals but also to legislation. The purpose of laws is to maximize the total happiness of the community. Most ethics questions about the use of technology can be adequately answered by existing ethics rules without regard to medium or application. On a more fundamental level, most of the ethical pitfalls related to social networking can be prevented by a little forethought and exercise of common sense, without regard to ethics rules. The qualities of social networking which are so potentially problematic for lawyers are its immediacy, its accessibility, and its permanency. As a result, like all users of social media, lawyers can react to a situation instantaneously and publicly, with an online posting that will remain on the internet in some form forever. Instead of sober reflection, social media encourages a reactionary and emotional post. Instead of one on one communication with a colleague or friend, social media encourages a broadcast to an expansive audience. Instead of ethereal and temporary communication, social media encourages an indelible post. Butterfly are direct representations of the stereotypes mentioned in the theory. Though M. The highly profitable reincarnation of different version of the Butterfly story, from David Belasco s Madame Butterfly to Alain Boublil and Claude Michel Schonberg s Miss Saigon (1989), might well embody a long line of Western misrepresentation of Asians, perpetuating a damaging fantasy of submissive Orientals, self erasing women, and asexual, contemptible men (Lee 13). This show and topic could be seen as important to us today because it can help us face some of the current issues going on in today s society. One example would be the protests regarding homosexuality. Song was told there was no homosexuality in China despite his apparent relationship with another man, otherwise known as Gallimard. The gay and lesbian citizens are becoming to be more open about their sexualities which would be a representation of the opposite of Gallimard s feelings at the end of the show. He was trying to hide from the fact that he was in love with a man for the entire time, though he thought he was with a woman. Because of his previous feelings he was struggling with the thoughts of possibly being gay and coping with the deceit. This show can show the results of trying to store such strong thoughts away and trying to hide from them. The results of Gallimard s heartbreak and his bad way of handling his grief, was killing himself. The integration of all available information has resulted in Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS). This system is invented to help the physicians and other clinical staff in decision making process. But the question again is are they comfortable using CDSS. What if the users could write decision rule which would be their own personal experience. If they could write their own rule will it increase their acceptability? The article answers the questions raised and provides a brief description of a CDSS developed by the Regenstrief Institute, which is contributing to an altogether different face of CDSS. This section describes an overview of all fundamental processes in our brain diseases classification system. The process of portioning data into a number of subsets is often referred to as supervised learning or clustering. K means is one of clustering techniques designed and used in many approaches [4]. K means is generally used to determine the natural groupings of pixels present in an image. K means is considered to be one of the best unsupervised clustering and classification techniques, also it s considered a very fast technique compared with other algorithms. The aim of using K means is to classify each pixel to it s one or more data classes by calculating the distance between the input pixel with the other pixels in the clustering window. In particular, it is put forward that any existent thing must have a cause or reason for its existence and that there cannot be more in the effect than there is in the cause. Hume challenges these assumptions in his Dialogues. There are three main critiques that Hume makes of the argument. Firstly, he has general concerns about the way it is structured, and believes that this structure is fallacious. Secondly, he has more specific concerns related to causation and finally he raises challenges to do with the concepts of contingency and necessity. In Hume s own words All existential propositions are synthetic. Q. To what extent was Hume successful in his critique of the cosmological argument? (10 marks) Hume makes some very important challenges to the Cosmological argument. One of the key areas he questions is the argument s dependence upon what Leibniz named, the principle of sufficient reason. In this principle an adequate explanation must be a total explanation. The universe requires an explanation of itself as a whole but many would say, as Russell later told Copleston: Then I can only say that you re looking for something which can t be got, and which one ought not to expect to get. Also if we are only entitled to talk about causes when we have had experience of them, then this argument would seem to be over stretching itself in speculating upon what it cannot know. On the other hand, there is of course a problem with stopping at a certain point and saying that we should seek no further explanation, in that it is a basic presupposition of all scientific work. However, even though a principle of rationality is that we can find an explanation for things, there is no guarantee that there will be one. So, I think Hume significantly weakens forms of the argument that depend on the principle of sufficient reason. However, I think that Hume s criticisms of a necessary being ... Within days after Lanes return to Roanoke Island from Weapemeoc, he wrote historian and geographer Richard Hakluyt that they had: discovered the mainland to be the goodliest soil under the cope of heaven, so abounding with sweet trees, that bring such sundry rich and most pleasant gummes, grapes of such greatness, yet wild, as France, Spain nor Italy hath no greater (Carpenter, Jeannine). One of the islands they persuade looked like a perfect island to settle. In another letter he sent to Sir Francis Walsingham, secretary to Queen Elizabeth, Lane seems to have enclosed a crude map, its legends revealing a great store of fish and great red grapes very pleasant there (Carpenter, Jeannine). This island was Roanoke, ten miles long and two and a half miles wide. These were all reasons why the Roanoke colonists would have been able to establish a long term residence there. They returned to England a year later with two Natives, Manteo and Wanchese (The Lost Colony). With them they brought back plentiful information about the new lands they discovered. • 29. William Blake s Influence Of Literature William Blake William Blake s poetry was heavily influenced by the Christian Bible, which is quite uncommon for the English Romantic poets. In fact, he is even known as the final religious poet of Britain. This tendency toward using the Bible in his literature derived from his avid reading of this holy book during his childhood. There is little information about any other schooling he might have had outside of reading this book. However, his writing was unique from other Christian writings as he drew direct influence from the Bible rather than the common church. William, Corbett. Blake, William (1757 1827). William Blake had radical views regarding his society and the politics that governed it. Blake demonstrated these radical social views by renouncing clothing and thus condoning nudity. In fact, Blake even stripped off his dress when meeting with his friends in a garden. His radical political views were demonstrated while arguing with Soldier John Scofield. The soldier claimed Blake openly spoke bad of the English King as well as expressed views in favor of Napoleon Bonaparte, the French emperor, thus landing him in a trial where he was charged with sedation, or the promotion of anti governmental rebellion. For instance, your research leads you to former President Barack Obama s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which protects minors who were brought to this country illegally as children. Created through executive action in June of 2012, DACA gives young undocumented immigrants: protection from deportation and a work permit. Subsequently, on September 5th, 2017, the Trump administration rescinds the DACA policy, and approximately 800,000 young immigrants will become eligible for deportation at the end of six months. There are many different sensations you can experience, including pain, hot, cold, pressure, traction, and many more. Each nerve ending will give you a different sensational experience when the nerve sends the individual impulse to the brain. When the impulse gets in to the cerebral cortex of the brain, your body reacts in the appropriate way. If you experience pain, for example, you might cry. The fourth function of the integumentary system is absorption. The most common use of the absorption factor is through the use of a transdermal patch. A transdermal patch, not to be confused with a dermal patch, is a medicated adhesive patch that is placed on the skin to deliver a certain dose of medication through the skin and in to the bloodstream. An advantage of this method of intake is the dosage intake is controlled by body heat melting away layers of medication embedded in the adhesive bandage, which is a time advantage. A disadvantage is a very effective barrier and sometimes the medication is not absorbed enough to be affective. Transdermal patches are placed on several parts of the body, depending on what treatment you need. Many transdermal medications include a type of birth control contraceptive and a medication that prevents motion sickness. The fifth and final function of the nervous system is secretion. Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close Literary Analysis One of Foster s most fundamental theories from his book How to Read Literature Like a Professor is that all stories grow out of other stories and that there s no such thing as a wholly original work of literature (24). This theory is exemplified by Jonathan Safran Foer s novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which grew out of J.D. Salinger s Catcher in the Rye. Music itself is really persuasive that causes the pace of the story to slow down or speed up and later makes a huge impact on the story. Music from Belmont Harbor and Gorgeous were pretty reversed from each other, especially when having different music playing in the background while doing a task that is important. In the Belmont Harbor, a chapter written by John Porcellino from The Prefect Example, John Porcellino listens to Punk Rockmusic which was pretty famous when he was a kid and the music was an inspiring moment because it ought them how the world really is (add the citation). On the other hand, music in Gorgeous written by Cathy Johnson, her way of implying the music in the beginning of the story was pretty adroit since she only uses the music once in the story. Likewise, she was able to deliver many kinds of details from only a few panels in the page ( add the citation). In the Gorgeous, the music from the beginning of the story had a feeling of modern pop. However, Porcellino played Punk Rock music whenever he would enter someone else car and he would always like to suggest the music to his friends. Throughout history and present day times, many countries such as Germany, France, and Canada have provided assistance and aid to underdeveloped countries to help alleviate poverty. The United States itself issues aid to developing countries which include Israel, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Ethiopia; this has been an American practice since 1947 after World War II. During the time period from 1947 to 1949 the United States, under the Marshall Plan, provided both financial and technical assistance to Europe and Asia after the war. As a result, Europe was rebuilt both politically and economically. Today the United States continues to provide aidto underdeveloped countries, helping them evolve and strengthen their economy. Many Americans believe that America is doing the right thing in issuing aid, while others hold the opinion that the United States should not issue aid, and that the issue of money to developing countries needs to stop. On one side of the issue the supporters of developmental aid believe that the United States is doing more than a great job by offering economic assistance to countries that need help to develop. These individuals are aware of the unfortunate poverty levels in many countries abroad.
