4 October 2014 Pre WWI Questions 1. The foreign policies of Bismarck were very strategic and
peaceful. Bismarck prevented bloodshed by creating the League of the Three Emperors. This was
an alliance between three monarchies, which were Germany, Russia and Austria Hungary. He saw
this as a means to isolate France and preserve both peace and conservative status quo (Tucker). If

Also, many people obtain guns from stealing it from another person, or buying it off a citizen
who is unknowledgable or uncaring for the law, or the temperment of the buyer. Besides, if a
person who is of age, and has a clear record wishes to buy a gun to be violent with it, there is no
way of preventing him or her. Anyone who believes strengthening the gun control laws would
reduce gun violence is correct. However, if someone wants to kill someone, not having a gun is
unfortunately not going to stop him or her. If a gun is not accessible, a person who wishes to

This report will address strategy implementations for BBC3. The BBC have suggested to close
BBC3. However from our SWOT (appendix 1) and Porters 5 forces analysis (appendix 2) it was
concluded that they should not do this. Instead the BBC should keep BBC3 and close BBC4.

remove BBC4.
One reason for this strategy has been suggested is because the BBC have many diversified
products to meet requirement of each customer (BBC, 2014). However, BBC3 is the only
channel that caters to the younger market, 16 34 year olds, therefore by removing this from TV
they would no longer have a channel for this market. It has been found that youth are already
underserved and older audiences are over served (Plunkett, 2014) therefore by removing BBC3
from the TV they would be further underserved. Additionally, there has been a signed petition
against the BBC3 proposal (Change.org 2015) suggesting that its customers do not want it to be
taken off TV. Furthermore 16% of UK households don t have access to internet and by removing
BBC3 from the TV that 16% of the market will not be able to access it.
BBC4 have 2 million less viewers than BBC3 each week (BBC 2015). Additionally, BBC4 has
many repeat shows on the channel and also similar shows to BBC2 therefore by closing BBC4
instead of BBC3 the BBC would lose less customers. Closing BBC4 would involve transferring
longstanding programmes that are shown on BBC4 to BBC 2 as the two channels are already

Miracles and dream visions are often paired together in the Christian faith, specifically inside of the
Catholic denomination. According to the information that I found, they call these visions private
revelations. Even though they accept the idea that a Christian can be exposed to a vision, they are

employed scrivener. He is the person that copies documents for the narrator in the story. This work
was not uncommon for someone like Bartleby in the 19th century society. The society approved of
the male professional writer, but Bartleby refused this profession and through his I would prefer not

In order to select the best ideas generated through our collective brainstorm, the group conducted a
detailed CARTS analysis. CARTS is an acronym that stands for Cost, Acceptance, Resources, Time
and Space. Each one the criteria were used to determine the best course of action to get us from the
problem to the solution. The C represents cost; we determined that there were little restrictions
because the components of our solution would not require technologies and materials that we do
not currently possess. Next, we considered the A which stand for acceptance. Every teammember s
ideas benefitted the process, and most of our initial ideas did fit well in the overall workflow of
the major solution. However, we did not agree that creating a time matrix was worth our time
and resources, so we left that one out. The R in the CARTS analysis stands for resources. It has

problems within the plot. Prince of Tides is a movie about a grown woman named Savannah
Wingo and she struggles with suicide and depression. She lives in New York while her brother,
Tom Wingo, lives in South Carolina. She attempts suicide once again and the psychiatrist requests
that Tom come to New York to visit Savannah. Tom arrives in New York and instantly becomes
involved in Savannah s case and the psychiatrist, Susan Lowenstein. While trying to... Show more

violates the Code of Ethics and can result in a loss of her license.
Another strong ethical issue was the huge confidentiality issues that involves Susan and
Savannah s family. Susan reveals information about Savannah s sessions while she was still in a
medically induced coma, so clearly there was not permission to do so from Savannah or from a

Fourth ethical issue I spotted was the relationship was deepened when Dr. Lowenstein asked
Tom to coach her son in football. This is an indicator of a dual relationship that should be
