Bank located in Puyallup, Washington is heavily processed. A heavily processed diet
can lead to nutritional deficiencies in fiber, calcium, iron and vitamins. These
nutrients are vital to human survival.
Additionally, during non holiday months, donations to the Puyallup Food Bank
decrease considerably. To change this and help the food bank receive sufficient
nutritional food donations year round, team 6 decided to repurpose Sarah Pike s
research project.
Using Ms. Pike s research, we realized the Puyallup Food Bank had issues in
communicating its needs effectively with the community. To assist in correcting this,
we felt the design of a simple, visually interesting call to action pamphlet would be an
appropriate tool.

Cvijanovic s enthusiasm for nineteenth century landscape art is represented in the

Belshazzar s feast appeared with deep hues of purple, dark shading, and the images

function properly. It is a neurological disorder. It is when nerve cell activity in the
brain is disturbed, causing seizures. There is no cure for epilepsy, but there are
treatments to help limit the number of seizures. Most people that have epilepsy live
normal lives with some or no restrictions. Most people outgrow their seizures once
they get to adulthood. Seventy percent of people with epilepsy are diagnosed before
the age of twenty and thirty percent develop a seizure disorder after the age of twenty.
Understanding epilepsy s origin, symptoms, diagnosis process, treatment options, and
effects on daily life will eventually lead to a cure.
The first book written about epilepsy was by the Greek physician, Hippocrates. It
was written around 400B.C. and was titled On the Sacred Disease. Hippocrates
book is believed to be the first record of a person suffering from epilepsy. On the
Sacred Disease laid the foundation for the education of epilepsy. Although it
included some misleading myths, it also contained many truths about the disease.

which is formed by robust authoritarian power. The United States criminal justice
system is not an institution to be underestimated, as it represents the highest
incarceration rate of all world nations at a staggering 700 inmates per 100 thousand
citizens (Krisberg, 7). Based on the social and political structure of democracy in the
United States, it is argued that incarceration systems should follow the same roots of
equality and freedom; however, the current format demonstrates otherwise. Currently,
the United States criminal justicesystem faces issues of inhumane treatment due to the
sheer overcrowding, which restrict inmates from just treatment within penitentiaries.
This lack of equality standards was argued in the 2011 court case, Brown v. Plata,
which California prisonsystems were forced to decrease prisons overcapacity rate

(Koehler, 3). In the decision of Brown v. Plata (2011), supreme court justice Anthony

Lumbriculus variegatus, also known as blackworms, reproduce by asexual
fragmentation in a lab setting. They are easy to handle and keep alive, needing only
fresh spring water every few days. They are viewed under a stereomicroscope and
slowed down by exposure to ice water for easier cutting. The object of the experiment
was to test whether the amount of segments left in a cut worm affected the
regeneration rate of the worm. We cut the worms into small and long anterior and
posterior fragments, along with separating the heads and tails. We predicted the
pieces of worms with the most segments (the long anterior and long posterior) would
survive and regenerate better than the smaller sections. Our results showed the null
hypothesiswas supported because the short anterior segments grew the most. The
reason for this occurrence may be the worms survival, regardless of segment length,
is unpredictable. This would also offer an explanation as to why our control worms
died in the end of the experiment.
