1. 1st JOURNAL
Tuesday, October 11th 2016 was the second meeting for English Spesific Purpose
(ESP) class. We were told by Mam Isti, as our lecture to create a modul relate to our ESP’s
field as the final project of this subject. Firstly, she divided us into 15 groups which is each
group consists of three persons and I joined with Iqbal Ramadhan and Febri Agung Permadi.
After that, Mam Isti asked us wether we had suggestion about the topics relate to ESP and
finally, each group had got the topic and my group got English for Dubber. We feel doubtful
when we realized thet we got Englis for Dubber as the topic because we worried that it would
be difficult enough to get the respondents of the field. After discussing with my partners, we
decided to change the topic. Fortunately, Mam Isti accepted our request and then she changed
the topic for my group. Finally, we got English for Pharmacologist as the topic of ESP
module.
Mam Isti told us to sit in our each group and received the topic of ESP that we have to
create a module related to it. Before creating the module, we were asked to analyze the
previous module that was made by seniors. In this meeting, we discussed about the content of
the module. We had to analyze wether the module was made correctly appropriate need
analysis.
