 Malaysian Biotechnology Corp (BiotechCorp) aims to reap RM2 billion in revenue from 248 BioNexus-status companies in
2015, its Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Dr Mohd Nazlee Kamal said.These companies generated revenue of RM1.4 billion in
2014 from RM1.169 billion in 2013.BioNexus is a special status awarded to qualified international and Malaysian biotech
companies that qualify for fiscal incentives, grants and guarantees administered by BiotechCorp.
 Malaysia Airlines is kick starting the year with incredibly low fares as its ‘2015 Specials’ launches at 12 midnight tomorrow.
This is the time for avid travelers to plan their travel for the entire year as the airline offers some never-before deals.Its
Regional Senior Vice President for Malaysia Dato’ Muzammil Mohamad said, “Fly to London, Paris or Istanbul for RM2499 all-
inclusive return. Sydney or Melbourne for just RM1450 return. Or explore Malaysia for only RM129 return on our many
Domestic destination offers! Malaysia Airlines is starting 2015 with our best offers yet that are surely not to be missed.”The
sale is from 14 - 24 January 2015, for travel from 17 January till 3 March for selected destinations, and up till 30 November
2015 for others.
 There is a possibility the 2015 Budget will be restructured, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.“I will come out with a
statement (on this) next week,” he told reporters after receiving the flood relief assistance from China. Najib was asked
whether the government would undertake a budget reallocation for this year given several unexpected major events such as
the falling global oil prices as well as the floods that hit the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia.Earlier, Najib received the aid
from China’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr Huang Huikang.Among them were 2,950 units of tents, 220 set generators, 400
water pumps with 1.1 kilowatt capacity, 45 roll water hoses and 60 water purification sets with 500-litre/hour capacity.
 Eastspring Investments Bhd expects the depreciating ringgit to begin yielding positive impact on export numbers within the
three to six months.According to Robert Rountree, Global Strategist at Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Ltd, the
depreciating ringgit has helped boost export but its positive impact will take a while to be seen."The impact of depreciating
ringgit on exports can be seen within the three to six months as according to the "J Curve"," said Rountree during Eastspring

 CIMB Holdings Bhd emerged the top gainer on Bursa Malaysia mid-morning followign news reports that the bank was calling
off its mega-bank merger with RHB Capital and Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB).The counter rose 61 sen or 11.78 per
cent to RM5.79 with 13.25 million shares changing hands. The stock opened three sen higher at RM5.21.
