(1) This document outlines environmental economic valuation methods for assessing the impacts of hazardous and municipal waste discharge and the benefits of waste recycling. It provides formulas to monetize these impacts and benefits using data on things like health costs, crop losses, sewer repairs, employment, and tourism. Sources of this data are provided. (2) Formulas are suggested to calculate the monetary impacts of hazardous waste by looking at health costs, crop losses, and lost tourism. Municipal waste impacts consider health costs, time lost to blocked roads and sewers, and reduced tourism. (3) The benefits of waste recycling are suggested to monetize through revenues from waste and saved resources, lower fertilizer needs, and
