Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics for Bird-Strike Analysis Using LS-DYNAdrboon
In this second of a three-paper sequence, we developed a standard work using the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamic (SPH) approach in LS-DYNA and compared the results against those the Lagrangian model and available experimental results. First, the SPH model was validated against a one-dimensional beam centered impact’s analytical solution and the results are within 3% error. Bird-strike events were divided into three separate problems: frontal impact on rigid flat plate, 0 and 30 deg impact on deformable tapered plate. The bird model was modeled as a cylindrical fluid. We successfully identified the most influencing parameters when using SPH in LS-DYNA. The case for 0 deg tapered plate impact shows little bird-plate interaction because the bird is sliced in two parts and the results are within 5% difference from the test data available in the literature, which is an improvement over the Lagrangian model. Conclusion: The developed SPH approach is suitable for bird-strike events within 10% error.
Arbitrary Lagrange Eulerian Approach for Bird-Strike Analysis Using LS-DYNAdrboon
In this third and last sequence paper we focus on developing a model to simulate bird-strike events using Lagrange and Arbitrary Lagrange Eulerian (ALE) in LS-DYNA. We developed a standard work for the two-and three-dimensional models for bird-strike events. We modeled the bird as a cylinder fluid and the fan blade as a plate. The case study was that of frontal impact of soft-bodies on rigid plates based on the Lagrangian Bird Model. Results show very good agreement with available test data and within 7% error when compared with the Lagrange and SPH methods. The developed ALE approach is suitable for bird-strike events in tapered plates.
Bird-Strike Modeling Based on the Lagrangian Formulation Using LSDYNAdrboon
In this first paper of a three-paper sequence, we developed a standard work using the Lagrangian approach in LS-DYNA. The results were compared against experimental results. First, a simple one-dimensional beam centered impact problem was solved analytically to validate the results produced by LS-DYNA. For this case, the results were within 2.5% error when compared with the analytical solution. Bird-strike events were divided into three separate problems: frontal impact on rigid flat plate, 0 and 30 deg impact on deformable tapered plate. The bird model was modeled as a cylindrical fluid. The peak pressures and forces were compared to those results available in the literature. The case for 0 deg tapered plate impact shows little bird-plate interaction because the bird is sliced in two parts and the results were within 10% difference from the test data available in the literature. The developed Lagrangian approach is suitable for bird-strike events within 10% error.
APPLICATION OF COMPUTER FOR ANALYZING WORLD CO2 EMISSIONIJCSEA Journal
Global climate change due to CO2 emissions is an issue of international concern that primarily attributed
to fossil fuels. In this study, Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used for analyzing world CO2 emission based on the
global energy consumption. Linear and non-linear forms of equations were developed to forecast CO2
emission using Genetic Algorithm (GA) based on the global oil, natural gas, coal, and primary energy
consumption figures. The related data between 1980 and 2010 were used, partly for installing the models
(finding candidates of best weighting factors for each model (1980-2003)) and partly for testing the models
(2004–2010). Global CO2 emission is forecasted up to year 2030.

This research paper demonstrates the invention of the kinetic bands, based on Romanian mathematician and statistician Octav Onicescu’s kinetic energy, also known as “informational energy”, where we use historical data of foreign exchange currencies or indexes to predict the trend displayed by a stock or an index and whether it will go up or down in the future. Here, we explore the imperfections of the Bollinger Bands to determine a more sophisticated triplet of indicators that predict the future movement of prices in the Stock Market. An Extreme Gradient Boosting Modelling was conducted in Python using historical data set from Kaggle, the historical data set spanning all current 500 companies listed. An invariable importance feature was plotted. The results displayed that Kinetic Bands, derived from (KE) are very influential as features or technical indicators of stock market trends. Furthermore, experiments done through this invention provide tangible evidence of the empirical aspects of it. The machine learning code has low chances of error if all the proper procedures and coding are in play. The experiment samples are attached to this study for future references or scrutiny.

Security constrained optimal load dispatch using hpso technique for thermal s...eSAT Journals
Abstract This paper presents Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization (HPSO) technique to solve the Optimal Load Dispatch (OLD) problems with line flow constrain, bus voltage limits and generator operating constraints. In the proposed HPSO method both features of EP and PSO are incorporated, so the combined HPSO algorithm may become more effective to find the optimal solutions. In this paper, the proposed Hybrid PSO, PSO and EP techniques have been tested on IEEE14, 30 bus systems. Numerical simulation results show that the Hybrid PSO algorithm outperformed standard PSO algorithm and Evolution Programming method on the same problem and can save considerable cost of Optimal Load Dispatch.
An optimal design of current conveyors using a hybrid-based metaheuristic alg...IJECEIAES
This paper focuses on the optimal sizing of a positive second-generation current conveyor (CCII+), employing a hybrid algorithm named DE-ACO, which is derived from the combination of differential evolution (DE) and ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithms. The basic idea of this hybridization is to apply the DE algorithm for the ACO algorithm’s initialization stage. Benchmark test functions were used to evaluate the proposed algorithm’s performance regarding the quality of the optimal solution, robustness, and computation time. Furthermore, the DE-ACO has been applied to optimize the CCII+ performances. SPICE simulation is utilized to validate the achieved results, and a comparison with the standard DE and ACO algorithms is reported. The results highlight that DE-ACO outperforms both ACO and DE.

Genetic algorithm guided key generation in wireless communication (gakg)IJCI JOURNAL
In this paper, the proposed technique use high speed stream cipher approach because this approach is useful where less memory and maximum speed is required for encryption process. In this proposed approach Self Acclimatize Genetic Algorithm based approach is exploits to generate the key stream for encrypt / decrypt the plaintext with the help of key stream. A widely practiced approach to identify a good set of parameters for a problem is through experimentation. For these reasons, proposed enhanced Self Acclimatize Genetic Algorithm (GAKG) offering the most appropriate exploration and exploitation behavior. Parametric tests are done and results are compared with some existing classical techniques, which shows comparable results for the proposed system.

An Enhance PSO Based Approach for Solving Economical Ordered Quantity (EOQ) P...IJMER
The Meta-heuristic approaches can provide a sufficiently good solution to an
optimization problem, especially with incomplete or imperfect information and with lower
computational complexity especially for numerical solutions. This paper presents an enhanced PSO
(Particle Swarm Optimization) technique for solving the same problem. Through the PSO performs well
but it may require some more iteration to converge or sometimes many repetitions for the complex
problems. To overcome these problems an enhanced PSO is presented which utilizes the PSO with
double chaotic maps to perform irregular velocity updates which forces the particles to search greater
space for best global solution. Finally the comparison between both algorithms is performed for the
EOQ problem considering deteriorating items, shortages and partially backlogging. The simulation
results shows that the proposed enhanced PSO converges quickly and found much closer solution then
PSO.
A genetic algorithm for the optimal design of a multistage amplifier IJECEIAES
The optimal sizing of analog circuits is one of the most complicated processes, because of the number of variables taken into, to the number of required objectives to be optimized and to the constraint functions restrictions. The aim is to automate this activity in order to accelerate the circuits design and sizing. In this paper, we deal with the optimization of the three stage bipolar transistor amplifier performances namely the voltage gain (AV), the input impedance (ZIN), the output impedance (ZOUT), the power consumption (P) and the low and the high cutoff frequency (FL,FH), through the Genetic Algorithm (GA). The presented optimization problem is of multi-dimensional parameters, and the trade-off of all parameters. In fact, the passive components (Resistors and Capacitors) are selected from manufactured constant values (E12, E24, E48, E96, E192) for the purpose of reduce the cost of design; also, the intrinsic parameters of transistors (hybrid parameters and the junction capacitances) are considered variables in order not to be limited in design. SPICE simulation is used to validate the obtained result/performances.

It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.

CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!

Abstract
Manufacturing organizations of the present time are facing the challenge of satisfying the higher expectations of the customer
which are changing frequently. The challenge increases with the global competition. The customer needs the quality
products/services at the lowest possible cost and within the shortest possible time. In this paper a solution to the problem of
warehouse scheduling wherein the shipment cost and shipment time is optimized is presented using the Genetic Algorithm and
Adoptive Genetic Algorithm.

1. INTRODUCTION
Manufacturing organizations of modern times are no more
simple systems of converting a set of input resources into a
useful products and services by maintaining high
productivity, but they have evolved into a frequently
changing complex system of satisfying higher expectations
of customers. Global competition further increases
complexity. In order to support its global competitiveness
and higher customer expectations, an individual
manufacturing enterprise has to be integrated not only with
its related systems, but also with its partners, suppliers and
customers.
Changing business environment requires corporations to
continuously evaluate and configure their supply chains
(SCs) to provide customers with high quality
products/services at the lowest possible cost and within the
shortest possible time. The optimization of warehouse
scheduling in particular the optimization of shipment cost
and shipment time will achieve the required objective and
the same time enhances the capability of Supply Chain. In
the present paper the Genetic Algorithm and Adoptive
Genetic Algorithm are used for the optimization purpose.
2. BACKGROUND
Changing business environment requires corporations to
continuously evaluate and configure their supply chains in
order to sustain the global competition. The warehouse
management system manages the all types of the materials
in one place and delivered efficiently with the minimum
time. It dispatched the materials as per the customer requests
without the delay time also it maintains all information
about the materials and stock list. The optimization
techniques are employed to find out the minimum shipping
cost and minimum shipping time.
Literature survey reveals that the Genetic algorithm is
widely-used for optimization of shipping cost and time. In
this work the Genetic Algorithm and adoptive Genetic
Algorithm is used for optimization of shipping cost and
shipping time which automatically enhances the capability
of supply chain.
3. METHODOLOGY
3.1. Genetic Algorithm (GA)
When the search space becomes massive, we need a specific
method to unearth the optimal solution. GA handles a
population of feasible solutions and each solution is
signified through a chromosome, which is just an abstract
representation. In each chromosome, the fittest individuals
have a better chance to produce off-springs by mixing
features of the parents or by altering one or more of the
parents’ characteristics whereas, the bad individuals are
most likely to die. Decisions that have to be made for
applying GA consists individual or chromosome
representation, method of crossover, probability of
crossover, method of mutation, probability of mutation, and
population size. The elements of the GA are populations of
chromosomes, selection according to fitness, crossover to
create new offspring, and random mutation of new
offspring. The following flow chart shows the simple
Genetic Algorithm.
The all parameters are started before the genetic algorithms
and then find the fitness charge of the genetic algorithm.
The chromosomes in a GA population typically take the

form of bit strings. Each locus in the chromosome has two
feasible alleles: 0 and 1.Each chromosome can be thought of
as a point in the search space of candidate solutions. GA
operators are selection, crossover and mutation.
3.2. Adoptive Genetic Algorithm (AGA)
In usual genetic algorithm, the mutation rate or probability
is stable for all chromosomes to unearth the fitness function.
So there is no altering in any values for the best fitness
values for the best chromosomes. The adoptive genetic
algorithm is used to tune the value near the best value with
the less time. The following flow chart is shown the
adoptive genetic algorithm:
In this paper the following constraints were used
1. Population size: 500
2. Number of generation: 700

U: represents the r warehouse
E: The edges that links with customers with warehouses. For
each edge Eij (link warehouse I with customer j)

qj: Warehouse j capacity
The criteria for evaluation depend on two main factors: the
shipping cost cij between warehouses I and customer j and
the shipping time spent Tij in the process of shipping from
warehouses i to the customer j. The two factors are
represented in forms of two objective functions to solve the
problem of scheduling multiple warehouses as follows
1. An objective function to minimize the shipping cost Cij of
request Vi of every customer i(i=1..m), from the warehouse,
(j=1..r), that is assigned to him (i.e, the only one link xij that
is equal to 1)
m r

2. An objective function to minimize the shipping time Tij
of every customer I,(i=1..m), from the warehouse j,(j=1..r)
that is assigned to him (i.e the only one link xij that is equal
to 1):
m r
Minimize f2(x) = Σ Σ ijxij

Σ vixij ≤ qi , i=1,2..m i=1
Merging the shipping cost and the shipping time objective
function yield the following fitness function :
f(x) = w1.f1(x) + w2.f2(x)
Where w1 is a fixed weight of f1(x), w2 is a fixed weight of
f2(x).
The way to determine the values of w1and w2 are computed
as follows:
𝑤1 =

𝑤1+𝑤2
𝑤2 =
𝑤2
𝑤1+𝑤2
Where w1 is f’1(x)- f’1,min(x), and w2 is f’2(x)-
f’2,min(x)
The evaluation of the fitness function f(x) is computed as
follows:
eval(f(x) = w1.f’1(x)+w2.f’2(x),
Where f1(x) is the first derivative of f1(x), and f2(x) is the first
derivative of f2(x),
The first derivative f1(x) (shipping cost functions) is
computed as follows:
𝑓1(𝑥) =
𝑓1 𝑥 − 𝑓1, 𝑚𝑖𝑛(𝑥)
𝑓1, 𝑚𝑎𝑥 𝑥 − 𝑓1, 𝑚𝑖𝑛(𝑥)
where f1,max(x) is the highest cost value achieved for any
chromosome in a generation, and f1,min(x) is the lowest cost
value achieved for any chromosome in a generation. The
first derivative f2(x)(shipping time function) is computed as
follows:
𝑓2(𝑥) =
𝑓2 𝑥 − 𝑓2, 𝑚𝑖𝑛(𝑥)
𝑓2, 𝑚𝑎𝑥 𝑥 − 𝑓2, 𝑚𝑖𝑛(𝑥)
