Take away
Timely and high accuracy enhanced flood maps allow:
 Identification of areas at risk for effective emergency response;
 Precise assessment of damage on affected elements (e.g. houses,
businesses, etc.);
 Rising of awareness of flood risk of citizen communities of the area
concerned;
Challenges are:
• To use more GNSS geolocation of Social Data would simplify the process
• To engage and involve Citizen Community to contribute to data collection
• To integrate many source of data to provide easy access and actionable
information
