This document provides a schedule for Project 2 assignments that are due between weeks 4-6. It lists the tasks to be completed each week such as brainstorming ideas, drafting a public service announcement, getting peer reviews, and creating a screencast design justification. Deliverables for the project are due on October 3rd and include a self-evaluation, the public service announcement, and the URL for the screencast. Students are instructed to verify their submissions are correct.

3. Decide if your PSA will be a poster or a billboard.
4. Brainstorm Ideas Part 1 Due: Tues. 9/14. Go to the Brainstorm
Ideas Forum and follow the directions to post your ideas.
5. Brainstorm Ideas Part 2 Due: Thurs. 9/16. Go to the Brainstorm
Ideas Forum and follow the directions to respond to peers' ideas.
Week 5

1. Finalize decisions about the client, target audience, and message
frame for your PSA and begin drafting it.
2. Peer Review PSA Part 1 Due: Tues. 9/21. Go to the Peer Review
Forum and follow the directions to post a draft of your PSA.
3. Peer Review PSA Part 2 Due: Thurs. 9/23. Go to the Peer Review
Forum and follow the directions to respond to a peer’s draft.
4. Go to Tools and Resources, decide which tool you will use to create
Screencast, and do a test recording. Follow troubleshooting steps, if
you encounter technical issues.

Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the directions to respond to a
peer’s screencast.
PROJECT 2 DELIVERABLES DUE: Sunday 10/3. Submit your work as follows to the
submissions drop box located at the bottom of the project page:
• Self-Evaluation, submit a Word or PDF file.
• Deliverable 1: PSA, Submit an image (JPEG, PNG, etc.) or PDF file.
• Deliverable 2: Screencast, cut and paste the URL to your screencast to the top of
your self-evaluation.
To avoid a point penalty, verify your submission. Do not rely solely on bblearn’s confirmation
that your work submitted. You need to check that your work submitted correctly. This means
you need to go back to the drop box after submitting your work and 1) open your document
files, and 2) check that the URL will work by cutting and pasting what you submitted into a
browser.
