This document provides a schedule for an English course unit on personal and exploratory writing. It lists the required readings and assignments to be completed each week from weeks 4 through 6. In week 4, students must read assigned materials and complete two writing exercises. Week 5 involves more reading, two more writing exercises, and brainstorming activities. Peer review of drafts is scheduled for week 6, with the epistolary essay due at the end of week 6.

page. As you read, pay attention to what point you think each letter
is trying to make, and note the stories and anecdotes used.
