- Water baptism is an important part of the Gospel message found throughout the New Testament. It is presented as something believers should do after repenting from sin and having faith in Jesus Christ.
- Many accounts in Acts describe people getting baptized after believing, including Peter's message in Acts 2, the Ethiopian eunuch, Cornelius and his household, the Philippian jailer and Lydia. Paul also instructs the believers in Ephesus to be baptized after learning about Jesus.

This simple quotation from one of America's Founding Fathers, Thomas Paine, not only describes the beginnings of the American Revolution, but also the the increasingly crazy world of 2014.
Many people may be distracted by such times but followers of Jesus must keep their eyes on Jesus and stay the course, not give up and run the race God has assigned to each of us till He calls us home or He comes back to earth.
This message is a reminder of the high stakes of staying in the race until the end and not giving up.

Baptism testifies to that which has already happened in believers; we are buried with Christ and raised from the dead in the Power of God's Holy Spirit.
Is Jesus Christ the only way to salvation? Our answer is "Yes". In a world today where pluralism and relativism are readily embraced, where people try to accommodate every idea and notion, and pretentiously overlook obvious contradictions, truth that is "hard and fast" is not readily welcomed. But our goal is not to please people but to proclaim the truth in love and understanding. Each one is free then to make their own decision after having heard the truth. We present 3 simple, yet important reasons why.

Evidence why Baptism is a crucial element of our walk with our Lord Jesus using reverences from Saint Peter, Saint Paul, Jesus Christ and Acts Chapter 16.
The bible teaches that baptism is necessary for salvation. Look at all the scriptures that talk about baptism and we see that it is definitely necessary for salvation. b
What is our moral compass? Everyone has some theological moral compass. As a Christian, our moral compass should be the word of God. Many in the world use television, social media, the teachings of men, parents, or their college professor as their guideline for formulating their moral compass. How do Christians point the way to Christ and His word as a compass of right and wrong?

The case for speaking in tongues 7 – Corinthian Considerations.Dan Wooldridge
After far too long a wait this is finally finished. Years ago I was asked by a fellow preacher to write a book concerning the teaching and doctrine of the fullness of the Holy Spirit and the liberty of speaking in tongues.
It went on the back burner, I could never see the importance of published books and I'm still faintly bemused by the fact that I had a perfectly good set of working notes on the subject of "How to Say It" which was about the skill of putting a message together for effective preaching. Hardly anybody showed any interest in the working notes until another friend of mine published it in a hardback cover. I never cease to be amazed at the gullibility of us all who tend to look on the outside and not at the heart of the matter.
Once I got interested in multimedia presentations and the effects of social media style ministry I decided, as unto the Lord, that I ought to publish some plain scriptural content concerning the revelation of The Gift of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues in general.
This is number seven in the series and it looks at the implications of the teaching of the Word of God in the first book of Corinthians and how many have come to wrest the word of God to the loss of many and the confusion of most. Here is to letting a little plain scriptural light into the dimness of our understanding in the hope that we will be flooded with joy and power upon realising that this gift is for us and our children and for as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Why Come Together? - Christians often tell me that there is no need for them to come together In any regular or organised way. Apparently that some form of legalism. Have you never read the Scriptures? Perhaps you have forgotten the words of the perfect law of liberty and am now become foolish.

God and the rule of law From a biblical prospectiveDan Wooldridge
The foundation of our rule of law, biblical perspective. How are enjoyment of the rule of law comes from Christianity and the King James Bible. Civil government is grounded in the scriptures. The state must recognise that it is under God's law. Our rule of law establishes the rights and freedoms of every member of the nation.
The verb endings -EST & -ETH
There are 36,000 changes between the King James Bible and modern English versions in the new Testament alone. Some of these small changes make a huge difference in meaning. It is time to consider the impact of these differences.
For a Christian tears hold a special place. It is a good thing for us to cry after a godly sort. The Bible is full of examples of people who she had hot tears.

23. Here are many accounts of
Christians
Getting baptised in the 1st
church
We should look at them
25. • [KJV] [Acts 8:9] But there was
a certain man, called
Simon, which beforetime in the
same city used sorcery, and
bewitched the people of
Samaria, giving out that
himself was some great one:
26. • 10 To whom they all gave
heed, from the least to the
greatest, saying, This man is
the great power of God.
27. • 11 And to him they had
regard, because that of long
time he had bewitched them
with sorceries.
28. • 12 But when they believed Philip
preaching the things concerning the
kingdom of God, and the name of
Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both
men and women.
29. • 13 Then Simon himself believed also:
and when he was baptized, he
continued with Philip, and
wondered, beholding the miracles and
signs which were done.
31. • [KJV] [Acts 8:35] Then Philip
opened his mouth, and began
at the same scripture, and
preached unto him Jesus.
32. • 36 And as they went on their
way, they came unto a certain
water: and the eunuch
said, See, here is water; what
doth hinder me to be baptized?
33. • 37 And Philip said, If thou
believest with all thine
heart, thou mayest. And he
answered and said, I believe
that Jesus Christ is the Son of
God.
34. • 38 And he commanded the
chariot to stand still: and they
went down both into the
water, both Philip and the
eunuch; and he baptized him.
36. • [KJV] [Acts 10:43] To him give
all the prophets witness, that
through his name whosoever
believeth in him shall receive
remission of sins.
37. • 44 While Peter yet spake these
words, the Holy Ghost fell on
all them which heard the word.
38. • 45 And they of the
circumcision which believed
were astonished, as many as
came with Peter, because that
on the Gentiles also was
poured out the gift of the Holy
Ghost.
39. • 46 For they heard them speak
with tongues, and magnify
God. Then answered Peter,
40. • 47 Can any man forbid
water, that these should not be
baptized, which have received
the Holy Ghost as well as we?
41. • 48 And he commanded them
to be baptized in the name of
the Lord. Then prayed they him
to tarry certain days.
49. • [KJV] [Acts 16:14] And a
certain woman named Lydia, a
seller of purple, of the city of
Thyatira, which worshipped
God, heard us: whose heart
the Lord opened, that she
attended unto the things which
were spoken of Paul.
50. • 15 And when she was
baptized, and her
household, she besought
us, saying, If ye have judged
me to be faithful to the
Lord, come into my house, and
abide there. And she
constrained us.
52. • [KJV] [Acts 18:8] And
Crispus, the chief ruler of the
synagogue, believed on the
Lord with all his house; and
many of the Corinthians
hearing believed, and were
baptized.
54. • [KJV] [Acts 19:1] And it came
to pass, that, while Apollos was
at Corinth, Paul having passed
through the upper coasts came
to Ephesus: and finding certain
disciples,
55. • 2 He said unto them, Have ye
received the Holy Ghost since
ye believed? And they said
unto him, We have not so much
as heard whether there be any
Holy Ghost.
56. • 3 And he said unto them, Unto
what then were ye baptized?
And they said, Unto John's
baptism.
57. • 4 Then said Paul, John verily
baptized with the baptism of
repentance, saying unto the
people, that they should
believe on him which should
come after him, that is, on
Christ Jesus.
58. • 5 When they heard
this, they were baptized in

Jesus.
