Well, the current job market from 2022 has
increased by 75% ever since its increased
due to the lack of work people have been
missing out
Potential jobs I want to investigate and
why?
I would love to consider a position into
(D.O.P) – director of photography which
mainly the cinematographer in film and I
think its an interesting pick to go in in the
future it seems right up my ally as I've been
experimenting with film the past year.
I would love to get a job into retail as well it
seems very chill and manageable for me,
and I think I could do it with all the skills I
have acquired over college and working
with my father’s business.

Head of photography -
This is a job that I'm currently interested in where I
would be the head of photography, because of my
love for photography and cinematography in the
world of media, this job would create exciting
opportunities for me to develop and learn more in the
photography department from a college setting as
well.This is great because I am used to and appreciate
a college setting more than a typical job because I feel
more natural in that element and comfortable that
would be perfect for me because not only am I
learning new skills but expanding on my social skills as
I learn as the head of photography.Whilst this job is
something I am interesting.The salary is something I
think Is fitting toward the type of job that it is and the
full time aspect I am more than happy for because
employment is the long time goal. However the
distance to travel and come back is not something
that Is realistically or optimal for me who would be
interested in something more local or close to me
besides that the job and potential is something I am
more than willing to do for my future employment.

Director of photography –
This job title would be something I'm eager to
explore, being a DOP is something that fits to me
as a person in media this job title would be
something I would be interested in doing because
of the photography, video and social media
aspects playing heavily into the full time job this is
something that I am open to looking deep into
around jobs for being a director of photography
but in this example the full time job I could
potential get is in London which is pretty far.This
is an inconvenience for me because I don’t live
near London and travel to cover the living costs
for the this specific job would be hard to cover
even at a decent wage. Overall being a director of
photography is something I would love and
interested in massively but finding one locally is
harder than expected. Especially if I want a really
good quality job that’s fitting to me.

5. Job options I'm looking at - YouTube

A potential job I could get and I'm building upon is youtube.com I already
have content been placed on the site already it’s a such a diverse site that I
feel safe and comfortable on and you can make money from it if I go down
that route ofYouTube. It’s something I have thought about it for a while
making content tailored to me would be a dream come true but with that
comes the massive risk of failing and keeping content in line.YouTube
depending on the user can mean the line between on income and income it
can and shown to be inconsistent for many people and I would be taking on
a risk if I wanted to go down the path of making my career solely off
YouTube which can be dangerous because you don’t get a set wage/amount
of money per work it depends on so many and potential inconsistent factors
that would be risky to determine.

6. Job options I'm looking at - Twitch

Another potential job I've been looking at isTwitch.Twitch is a another
online site that offers job for millions of people through ‘streaming’ and
through my life one of my dreams and still is to grow a potential
platform and form a job through stream whether that’s gaming,
cooking or just general hobbies. But with twitch it comes risks of
whether you make money and that can be risky to throw myself into. I
will say it’s a safer option to consider because of becoming a ‘Twitch
partner’ is safer and more promising through twitch I can open myself
to digital creation and creating a fanbase that is tailored to me and I can
earn money through that.Twitch is different enough fromYouTube that
I could potentially look for that as a job but it would be a lot of
commitment and I would be taking risks nonetheless through each
‘online’ website.

7. Job options I'm looking at –Media savvy

Another Job I have been looking into is Media savvy a local media
business which resolves around branding and creating content in the
digital world. I've been working at currently as a ‘student’ help thing
I work due to a course management term where I work there for a
certain duration and its been great I've experimented with expensive
cameras and more I've learnt so much being there its really fun to
experiment with promotion and social media publishing. I'm
continuing to work there and it’s a good environment and hopefully
in the future I can land a potential job there because I'm actively
looking to be there more and when I can I learn and just fit right in.
After my work placement time ends there is a good chance that they
might offer me a job there so media savvy is a great and another
potential option for me. I really enjoy filming there and learning how
to promote and edit through photoshop so if it a potential offer
came through I would jump at the opportunity.

In my first two job search I wouldn’t actually need much in terms of
qualifications but I would need good qualities in handling cameras and
content creation. This would be vital because of its easy nature to make
content if I'm not good at it then im essentially working for free and that
wont be good for many reasons.
For the job at media savvy I would properly need experience with the
demographic of holding cameras and editing skills, luckily I have those so its
not a problem, I might also need some and certain qualifications.
Nonetheless I would need to consider time and effort throughout any jobs.
AlsoYouTube and Twitch aren’t located anywhere its through online so that
would quite easy to manage for work. As for media savvy its in the
Sunderland town so from me its not that far and hard to get there so that
also wouldn’t be a problem since its quite local and close to me from where I
live.
