Dirty Electricity or electromagnetic PollutionArnulfo Laniba
Only now is it clear that there is a kind of electricity or energy that is dirty, and it is called dirty because it makes you sick. That's it. And to my knowledge there are at least 3 examples or kinds of energy, to wit: High voltage, extremely low frequency and the HAARP. This presentation will give you a tour to get to know each of these three dirty energy.
In this modern ultra scientific horribly civilized society, several diseased and harmful habits, practices and cultures have become the parts of our day to day life. Among those habits and practices, technological dependence and whimsical uses of technologically ultra modern gadgets is a principle one, particularly mobile phones, computers, laptops, wi fi, Bluetooth devices, microwave oven, television, washing machine e.t.c.. This paper is mainly focused on the health hazards produced by the wireless devices, which are emitting non ionizing radiation. Although the business policy makers and lords are promoting that, NIR is safe, does not have any potential to damage our health, but the actual scenario is something different from these declarations. Actually, business policy makers are mainly playing with the human psychology, particularly their copy paste mentality, exhibitionism and sociophobic mentality as a result of that entire human race is going to be submerged under dump of the diseases, which are mainly irreversible in nature. Not only is the human race, rather entire environment facing serious threats due to these irresponsible worthless attitudes from the end of the humans. Non ionizing radiation is dangerously damaging the electromagnetic field of nature, as a result of that a gross psycho somatic deprivation is encountered in all of the living beings and in the nature also. The one sided implementation of the diseased policies of a single species is damaging the entire ecosystem in an irreversible manner. From the research work, the uprising disease pillars have encountered which are directly or indirectly related to these radiations. Diseases, which are ruling the society, are just the manifestations of these harmful practices and those are going towards a dangerous end in the comet speed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the negative effects of wireless devices in houses on human health. As these devices have become an essential part of daily life, they are widely used for communications and the Internet. No house can do without it, simultaneously no person is now disease free. The radiation emitted from these sources causes many symptoms, such as heart diseases, sleep disorders, brain tumors, ear hearing problems, male infertility, etc. Dr. Sinchan Das "Impact of Wireless Devices on Health" Published in International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development (ijtsrd), ISSN: 2456-6470, Volume-6 | Issue-3 , April 2022, URL: https://www.ijtsrd.com/papers/ijtsrd49769.pdf Paper URL: https://www.ijtsrd.com/medicine/other/49769/impact-of-wireless-devices-on-health/dr-sinchan-das
Science from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge“[ is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe In an older and closely related meaning, "science" also refers to a body of knowledge itself, of the type that can be rationally explained and reliably applied. A practitioner of science is known as a scientist.
Since classical antiquity, science as a type of knowledge has been closely linked tophilosophy. In the early modern period the words "science" and "philosophy" were sometimes used interchangeably. By the 17th century, natural philosophy (which is today called "natural science") was considered a separate branch of philosophy. However, "science" continued to be used in a broad sense denoting reliable knowledge about a topic, in the same way it is still used in modern terms such aslibrary scienceor political science.

Plenty. If you think science doesn't matter much to you, think again. Science affects us all, every day of the year, from the moment we wake up, all day long, and through the night. Your digital alarm clock, the weather report, the asphalt you drive on, the bus you ride in, your decision to eat a baked potato instead of fries, your cell phone, the antibiotics that treat your sore throat, the clean water that comes from your faucet, and the light that you turn off at the end of the day have all been brought to you courtesy of science. The modern world would not be modern at all without the understandings and technology enabled by science.
Science affects us all, every day of the year.
To make it clear how deeply science is interwoven with our lives, just try imagining a day without scientific progress. Just for starters, without modern science, there would be:
no way to use electricity. From Ben Franklin's studies of static and lightning in the 1700s, to Alessandro Volta's first battery, to the key discovery of the relationship between electricity and magnetism, science has steadily built up our understanding of electricity, which today carries our voices over telephone lines, brings entertainment to our televisions, and keeps the lights on.
no plastic. The first completely synthetic plastic was made by a chemist in the early 1900s, and since then, chemistry has developed a wide variety of plastics suited for all sorts of jobs, from blocking bullets to making slicker dental floss.
no modern agriculture. Science has transformed the way we eat today. In the 1940s, biologists began developing high-yield varieties of corn, wheat, and rice, which, when paired with new fertilizers and pesticides developed by chemists, dramatically increased the amount of food that could be harvested from a single field, ushering in the Green Revolution. These science-based technologies triggered striking changes in agriculture, massively increasing the amount of food available to feed the world and simultaneously transforming the economic structure of agricultural practices.
no modern medicine. In the late 1700s, Edward Jenner first convincingly showed that vaccination worked. In the 1800s, scientists and doctors established the theory that many diseases are caused by germs. And in the 1920s, a biologist discovered the first antibiotic. From the eradication of smallpox, to the prevention of nutritional deficiencies, to successful treatments for once deadly infections, the impact of modern medicine on global health has been powerful. In fact, without science, many people alive today would have instead died of diseases that are now easily treated.
Scientific knowledge can improve the quality of life at many different levels — from the routine workings of our everyday lives to global issues. Science informs pu.
Electric fields are created by differences in voltage: the higher the voltage, the stronger will
be the resultant field. Magnetic fields are created when electric current flows: the greater the
current, the stronger the magnetic field. An electric field will exist even when there is no
current flowing. If current does flow, the strength of the magnetic field will vary with power
consumption but the electric field strength will be constant.
Electromagnetic fields are present everywhere in our environment but are invisible to the
human eye. Electric fields are produced by the local build-up of electric charges in the
atmosphere associated with thunderstorms. The earth's magnetic field causes a compass
needle to orient in a North-South direction and is used by birds and fish for navigation.
Besides natural sources the electromagnetic spectrum also includes fields generated by
human-made sources: X-rays are employed to diagnose a broken limb after a sport
accident. The electricity that comes out of every power socket has associated low frequency
electromagnetic fields. And various kinds of higher frequency radiowaves are used to
transmit information – whether via TV antennas, radio stations or mobile phone base
stations.

New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN HEALTHCARE.pdfAnujkumaranit

It encompasses tasks such as learning, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and language understanding. AI technologies are revolutionizing various fields, from healthcare to finance, by enabling machines to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence.
Title: Sense of Smell
Presenter: Dr. Faiza, Assistant Professor of Physiology
Qualifications:
MBBS (Best Graduate, AIMC Lahore)
FCPS Physiology
ICMT, CHPE, DHPE (STMU)
MPH (GC University, Faisalabad)
MBA (Virtual University of Pakistan)
Learning Objectives:
Describe the primary categories of smells and the concept of odor blindness.
Explain the structure and location of the olfactory membrane and mucosa, including the types and roles of cells involved in olfaction.
Describe the pathway and mechanisms of olfactory signal transmission from the olfactory receptors to the brain.
Illustrate the biochemical cascade triggered by odorant binding to olfactory receptors, including the role of G-proteins and second messengers in generating an action potential.
Identify different types of olfactory disorders such as anosmia, hyposmia, hyperosmia, and dysosmia, including their potential causes.
Key Topics:
Olfactory Genes:
3% of the human genome accounts for olfactory genes.
400 genes for odorant receptors.
Olfactory Membrane:
Located in the superior part of the nasal cavity.
Medially: Folds downward along the superior septum.
Laterally: Folds over the superior turbinate and upper surface of the middle turbinate.
Total surface area: 5-10 square centimeters.
Olfactory Mucosa:
Olfactory Cells: Bipolar nerve cells derived from the CNS (100 million), with 4-25 olfactory cilia per cell.
Sustentacular Cells: Produce mucus and maintain ionic and molecular environment.
Basal Cells: Replace worn-out olfactory cells with an average lifespan of 1-2 months.
Bowman’s Gland: Secretes mucus.
Stimulation of Olfactory Cells:
Odorant dissolves in mucus and attaches to receptors on olfactory cilia.
Involves a cascade effect through G-proteins and second messengers, leading to depolarization and action potential generation in the olfactory nerve.
Quality of a Good Odorant:
Small (3-20 Carbon atoms), volatile, water-soluble, and lipid-soluble.
Facilitated by odorant-binding proteins in mucus.
Membrane Potential and Action Potential:
Resting membrane potential: -55mV.
Action potential frequency in the olfactory nerve increases with odorant strength.
Adaptation Towards the Sense of Smell:
Rapid adaptation within the first second, with further slow adaptation.
Psychological adaptation greater than receptor adaptation, involving feedback inhibition from the central nervous system.
Primary Sensations of Smell:
Camphoraceous, Musky, Floral, Pepperminty, Ethereal, Pungent, Putrid.
Odor Detection Threshold:
Examples: Hydrogen sulfide (0.0005 ppm), Methyl-mercaptan (0.002 ppm).
Some toxic substances are odorless at lethal concentrations.
Characteristics of Smell:
Odor blindness for single substances due to lack of appropriate receptor protein.
Behavioral and emotional influences of smell.
Transmission of Olfactory Signals:
From olfactory cells to glomeruli in the olfactory bulb, involving lateral inhibition.
Primitive, less old, and new olfactory systems with different path
Ethanol (CH3CH2OH), or beverage alcohol, is a two-carbon alcohol
that is rapidly distributed in the body and brain. Ethanol alters many
neurochemical systems and has rewarding and addictive properties. It
is the oldest recreational drug and likely contributes to more morbidity,
mortality, and public health costs than all illicit drugs combined. The
5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
(DSM-5) integrates alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence into a single
disorder called alcohol use disorder (AUD), with mild, moderate,
and severe subclassifications (American Psychiatric Association, 2013).
In the DSM-5, all types of substance abuse and dependence have been
combined into a single substance use disorder (SUD) on a continuum
from mild to severe. A diagnosis of AUD requires that at least two of
the 11 DSM-5 behaviors be present within a 12-month period (mild
AUD: 2–3 criteria; moderate AUD: 4–5 criteria; severe AUD: 6–11 criteria).
The four main behavioral effects of AUD are impaired control over
drinking, negative social consequences, risky use, and altered physiological
effects (tolerance, withdrawal). This chapter presents an overview
of the prevalence and harmful consequences of AUD in the U.S.,
the systemic nature of the disease, neurocircuitry and stages of AUD,
comorbidities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, genetic risk factors, and
pharmacotherapies for AUD.

Use electromedicine to help treat diseases is not new. From electricity
(lightning) and static electricity (friction) to magnetism (lodestone), from the
sun (for its far infrared and ultraviolet radiation) to visible light (for its different
colored wavelengths), humans have used electromedicine for healing since
ancient times.

Rife technology or treatment is also kind of electromedicine and
experimental work has been done for several years, even centuries.
In fact, the devices he began to work with were patented in the 1890’s
and he was building on what had come before.

In 1920, rife began searching for an electronic way of killing the TB virus. This
is when he built his first electronic instrument that utilized the law of resonance.
This instrument could produce profound physiological changes in living
organisms, and cure chronic and infectious diseases.

In 1938, Rife said, 'We do not wish at this time to claim that we have "cured"
cancer, or any other disease, for that matter. But we can say that these
waves, or this ray, as the frequencies might be called, have been shown to
possess the power of devitalizing disease organisms.'

This work has been ignored because certain powerful individuals backed by
large monetary grants can become the dictators of research and suppress
all work that does not promote their interests or that may present a threat to
their prestige.
