This document summarizes an EFI design project for the Junior 206 engine as part of Ohio State University's Supermileage capstone program. The team designed an EFI system to improve fuel efficiency using sensors to detect engine parameters and an ECU to control fuel injection. They tested the modified engine on a dynamometer under various throttle positions and RPMs. Results showed improved fuel efficiency and torque over the original carbureted engine, achieving the project goals. Further refinements are still needed to the fuel supply system and dynamometer setup.
