This document describes an organization called Eduvoice that is working to improve the Indian higher education system. It aims to create a community of like-minded people to address issues through the Eduvoice Executive Committee. • Indian Higher Education Curriculum focuses more
on theory rather than practical knowledge
• Indian Higher Education curriculum is not in
accordance with the industrial demands.
• College Academicians are not aware about the latest
teaching methodology. If they are aware then they
don’t have proper resources to avail the benefits of
these methodologies
• Indian education system only emphasizes on studies.
There is no room for extracurricular in our education
system.

generating large sums of revenues. Due to this
business minds are now moving towards education.

• College and University stakeholders face problems in
running the colleges/university effectively and
efficiently due to regular and unpredictable changes
in the government policies.

FUTURE

Larger number of unskilled students who
lack creativity will get graduated, which
will ultimately lead to increase in
unemployment rates.
The Indian Higher Education sector will
slowly convert into a Business domain due
to which the students will ultimately buy
their degrees instead of earning them
Indian Universities would never be able to
become a part of top 100 universities

8. IDEA OF CREATING A COMMUNITY
Looking at the above-mentioned situation, we feel that this thing is of great
concern and cannot be changed by an individual or a small group of people.
We strongly believe that there is an urgent call to transform the Education
community completely from top to bottom.
To answer this urgent call for change Eduvoice is creating an Eduvoice
Executive Committee.
This committee will work towards addressing & resolving the burning issues
present in the Indian Education System.
