10. • HIV/AIDS- impacted more than 2000 students in our education tour, along with interns
from India, Germany, Japan and Nepal.
• CUTE- Cultural Understanding Through Exchange in which interns from other countries
are brought in to educate the community, about cultures in their own country. In
previous batch, we managed to bring in interns from Korea, Hong Kong, Germany,
Vietnam, Slovenia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Kazakhstan and Egypt
• Social Entrepreneurship- Currently our exchange partner; SOLS 24/7 take in interns
on Development Internship, working in Malaysia and Timor Leste.
• Youth Developer- Support us in our Development activities and conferences every
year locally, nationally, regionally, and globally.

11. 2.3.2 How to join?
There are three ways for organizations to take part and focus on CSR.
a. Project Supporter/ Enablers
Monetary support and in-kinds to sustain our projects. AIESEC is not-for-
profit organizations. For any monetary support more than RM 500 will be tax-
exempted. This includes the
b. Learning Partner
Education and supports the learning of the members. Example, by providing
speakers to educate on certain issues or topic relevant to AIESEC members.
c. Collaboration with AIESEC
Similar to SOLS 24/7, organizations can infuse AIESEC members globally in
project management trainee or volunteers. OR, to explore any opportunities
addressing world issues together with AIESEC.

Local Chapter Universiti Utara Malaysia won the global award- Raise My TN 3.0 Award in ATOM
Category during AIESEC International Congress
Successfully organized a study tour to Langkawi Island consisting 73 international delegates from
more than 30 countries
More than 2800% Relative Growth in number of Exchange Interns.

Upcoming activities
November 2009: 6th Penang Career and Postgraduate Expo : Largest in Northern Region
December 2009: MyLDS- Malaysia Leadership Development Seminar : National conference which
will be participated by more than 300 delegates all over Malaysia, plus international delegates and
facilitators.
January 2010: Franchising and Licensing Expo : will be held in PISA, Penang
February 2010: AIESEC Annual Dinner- which will be attended by members, alumni and partners.
