 A flagship project on
enhancing quality
teacher training in
Africa
 This aims at using
ICT to support the
target countries in
enhancing their
teacher training
institutions.
The focus is to increase
the quantity and improve
the quality of both pre-
and in-service teachers.

Competency-Based Teacher
Training Reforms
 This aim at supporting the
ministries of education in defining
and developing the required ICT
competencies for teachers.
 Provides ICT training programs
where teachers’ development is
systematically guided, monitored,
assessed and tracked.
Emphasis was placed
on the integration of
ICT in schools and the
capacity building of
teachers
ASPnet Project
