The Czech education system has the following levels: Pre-primary education is for ages 3 to 6 and is not compulsory. Primary education is compulsory from ages 6 to 15. Secondary education includes general, technical, and vocational schools from ages 15 to 19. Tertiary education includes tertiary professional schools that provide advanced technical training from ages 19 to 22 and higher education institutions for bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs.
