2. Math is something we learn at a young age Some of us are good at it, other struggle As young children and even adult can find Math very frustrating Even as adults we need math
3. Good reasons to help with Math Helping our students can help the children find math to be fun, less stressful, less frustrating and very beneficial Helping our students can not only help them at that one moment but could help them the rest of their lives Helping our students could tell them that you, as their parent are there for them in the good times and bad
4. How to help Sit down with them and give them as much attention you can. First, Make sure they do understand the concept and why it is important to understand the skill Start with the basics Work with them on a regular Use flash cards or something that will help them
5. Us Parents could also help by Make sure we do not just give them the answers Show them ways to work through the problem After the student completes the problem make sure they did it right and if not show them what they did wrong and how to fix where they went wrong
6. How us parents could also help Go over all of the problems and make sure there are no mistakes Explain what your child did wrong and have them correct the problem Do not get mad or frustrated, stay calm be comforting, and stay positive
