Students are divided into small groups and each group is given a set of picture cards depicting various activities that could have been done the previous night. Taking turns, each student picks up a card and the other students in the group have to guess what activity is shown by asking "Did you...?". If guessed correctly, the guessing student keeps the card. The game is played until all cards are guessed and the student with the most cards at the end wins.

Give each group a set of picture cards and ask them to put the cards in a pile face down. The picture cards show what the student did last night. Students take it in turn to pick up a card. The other students have to try to guess what the student holding the card did last night. They use the question form Did you…? When a student guesses correctly, they keep the picture card.
